"Throughout my life, I've always believed in making the most of what life gives you. Although I did not join the Dragon King by choice, I saw no point or profit in resisting. Onaga seeks to control all realms, including my home world of Edenia. This last bit is what intrigued me.
"However, I was not alone in my ambition for Edenia's throne. The ninja woman Mileena also sought the title of Queen of Edenia. She claims it is her birthright, which I find laughable. She doesn't deserve to be the Queen of anything....except maybe 'Queen of Ugly Mutant Whores.' HA!
"Getting her out of the way proved easier than I thought. She is far too predictable. Seducing her drunken fool lover Baraka was no more difficult than gaining Onaga's favor. She is too rash and too volatile to think of any proper strategy. She played right into my hands. Mileena is now an enemy of my master and on the run, with no allies. She is no threat to me.
"But now I must contend with Jade of the Edenian army. She represents the last bit of resistance between me and the Edenian throne. While Onaga does his business on Earth, I will find Jade and I will make an example of her. The people of Edenia will know what happens to those who challenge me when they see Jade's mutilated corpse hanging from MY palace."

"All my life, people have counted on me. Shao Kahn counted on me to carry out secret missions that his more famous daughters would be unable to do. Queen Sindel counted on me to maintain the safety of Edenia and the protection of her daughter during battle. Kitana counted on me to be her friend, to be at her side when she needed me.
"Sindel and I traveled to Outworld to learn more about our new enemy Onaga in hope that we would discover a way to defeat him and free Kitana from his evil influence. However on our journey, we received unusual news: that Kitana was leading her army against the Tarkatan hordes. Sindel sent me to find out what was happening, assuring me that she'd be fine on her own.
"I returned only to find the so-called 'Kitana' was really her psychotic clone Mileena. I regained control of the armies and we regrouped from this near disaster. As I awaited word from Sindel, I discovered a note from Kitana in my tent. In it, I learn horrifying news. While under Onaga's control, Kitana claims she killed Sindel. She then writes that she intends to end her own life out of grief and leaves the safety of Edenia up to me.
"Suddenly the protection and future of my realm rests on my shoulders. Now I must lead Edenia's army and I must save our realm from the evils that threaten it. And I cannot even find my friend to help her. All my life people of counted on me....but now I fear I may be in over my head."

"I have been called many things. Assassin....warrior.....coward....traitor....all of them true. I have done things I am not proud of. I have done things out of cowardice and jealousy that I regret. Long ago, I betrayed my people and the memory of my family by joining and serving their murderer out of fear for my life. All my life I lived only out of fear for myself, never caring about others.
"But it was for a woman that I changed. A woman who made me realize what I was doing. A woman showed me what I could be if I tried: a hero. Her name is Kitana. It was for her that I turned against Shao Kahn. For her that I joined her allies from Earth. But her feelings were for another. A monk named Liu Kang who was everything I was not. Heroic...selfless....brave...determined.
"I thought if I proved myself as a hero like him, she would feel for me the way I felt for her. It was for her that I challenged Shao Kahn myself. I believed she would love me if I proved I could be her hero. But it was not to be. I failed. I couldn't even die a noble death. I survived to live with my shame.
"I returned to the shadows of Outworld, hiding myself from the rest of the world. Too ashamed to show my face again. But I've recently heard of grim news. I heard that Kitana had fallen in battle with the sorcerers Quan Chi and Shang Tsung only to be resurrected as a pawn for a new evil, the Dragon King. I returned hoping to help her only to find her friend Jade with news that Kitana was planning on ending her own life. Jade was left in charge of protecting Edenia, so I offered to find Kitana instead.
"What people think of me is irrelevant. All that matters now is finding Kitana. While Jade leads Edenia's army to battle, I will find Kitana and I stop her from throwing her life away. I will find Kitana and this time I will not fail her. I'll finally be her hero. I just hope I find her in time."

Sindel

"I abandoned my daughter once. Long ago, I gave into despair and selfishly gave up my life leaving my daughter to be raised my a madman. He raised her to be a killer and I was used as his pawn. Thousands of years later, I was resurrected as a tool in a plot to take over the realm of Earth. Shao Kahn stripped away my memories and twisted my mind into being as evil as he.
"I abandoned my daughter, but she did not abandon me. She refused to give up hope that I could be brought back. That I could break free from his control. With her help, I regained my memory and my life. Through it all, she never gave up on me.
"So when I learned that her mind had been twisted into being loyal to Onaga, how could I do any less? She didn't give up on me, so I could not give up on her. I would not rest until I brought Kitana home, safe and sound. But unlike my daughter...my efforts were in vain. Onaga's hold on her was too tight and I was struck down by her hand and left for dead. I failed her.
"But thankfully, I was found by one called Rain. With his help, I recovered from my wounds and learned that Kitana had gotten free from Onaga's influence. However, Rain also told me she believed she had murdered me and was planning on killing herself. I cannot let her go through with this. I cannot let her throw her life away like I threw mine away so long ago. I will not...WILL NOT abandon my daughter again. I will not fail her again. Kitana is coming home...and she is coming back alive."

story: in the past i just fought for good and then make boxoffice films to my collection. but that has changed . since the deadly alliance came into play they have killed a good friend of mine liu kang i could not forgive shang tsung for that . ut i could not go after him since kung lao had wanted to get shang tsung for revenge i respected him for that. so my goal was to aid sonya in her plan to get back cyrax and kenshi . we were close to finding them but we both got seperated from eachother so i roamed around for a while in outworld when i found shang tsungs palace bet when i saw it it was all destroyed and i didnt dare to go further since i saw somewhat a dragon man there so i hid from him and roamed hoping to find an ally of mine to help me get to where wqere supposed to help raiden. no such luck until i found sonya i ran to her hoping for any info but instead she attacked me and took me to this dragon king guy. finnally he put me in his control. until someone defeated him i dont care who did but i thank them i hated being on the dragon kings control bu when i have gotten to normal i saw my allies jax, kitana,my sonya,kunglao,ermac? i thought he worked with shao kahn no matter and to m surprise lui kang?! i thought he died no doubt i had to greet him after our celebration i had went outside to see what had changed and a whole field of barkas came toward us i single handedly defeated them[ maybe i over exagerated] anyway one had chased me all the way into a forest where i saw sub zero fight some more barakas he looked tired so helped him and we togethere defeated those ugly things . i traveled with sub zero as he told me the news on what had happened while i was in the control of the so called onaga. while we traveled he introduced me to his allie kenshi who revealed his story to me and was quite interested in him. while we traveled at night to find some safe shelter we encounterednoob saibot and smoke who apperantly were both connected to sub zero they fought us until smoke malfunctioned and sub zero through a ice blast at him while using his dark powers which made noob saibot completly frozen we helped smoke until he refunctione with no task so sub zero had made him on our side days later villegers had told us that a four armed man destroy the village with shao kahn i knew it was goro. i had to tell my friends i had to leave and destroy him once and for all they agreed and wished me luck now my task is to destroy goro with no chance of returning

Sektor

Long after his original mission to assassinate Sub-Zero had failed, Sektor found himself to be one of the few remaining warriors still loyal to the former Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei. Having disbanded shortly before the events of Shinnok's invasion, the Lin Kuei was nothing but a shadow of its former self. As the deadliest warrior in the former Grandmaster's rapidly diminishing clan, Sektor was rewarded with enhanced upgrades...he would be the driving force in the Grandmaster's reclamation of power. It is during this time that something strange happened to Sektor.

Having originally worked alongside the Black Dragon Organization, the Grandmaster sought out the same talented doctors and technicians who were responsible for enhancing some of the Black Dragon's fiercest warriors. Among these talented individuals was the same doctor who had given Kano his infrared eye and Red Dragon member Hsu Hao his cybernetic heart. Having been influential in the creation of the cyborg ninjas, the doctor did his work well...Sektor was outfitted with a whole new array of weaponry, circuitry and combat skills. The lethal assassin had become the perfect weapon. But now, Sektor found himself having unusual flashes of memory...his own residual memories leftover from his human existence. It seemed that Sektor, like his counterparts Smoke and Cyrax, would soon be able to fully recover his lost memories. However, something far more sinister had occurred.

The new cybernetic equipment that had been implanted into what remained of Sektor's brain was an active Artificial Intelligence. It gave Sektor free will, and more importantly, it was able to take over and control Sektor's human psyche. Now, the deadly cyborg was self-aware and in total control of his own functions. No longer a slave to programming, Sektor destroyed what remained of the former Lin Kuei, inlcuding the cybertech doctor who gave him these gifts. Seemingly out of instinct, he resumed his hunt for Sub-Zero. Upon confronting the elemental warrior, Sektor was defeated. Unable to claim the Dragon Amulet for himself, Sektor devised a new, sinister plan: he would create an army of cybernetic warriors and use them to wipe out the new Lin Kuei, and eventually attempt total domination of the world. Where others like Shao Kahn and Shinnok had failed, Sektor would succeed. With a small but strong assembly of automated warriors, Sektor launched a surprise attack on the Japanese government...an attempted coup. Though the coup failed, the mission was a complete success: the world was now aware of the threat of Tekunin. However, Sektor had another agenda.

Cyrax and Smoke were still alive and operational. Sektor's goal was to find and eliminate his counterparts, and then assimilate their technology into his own. He would become the perfect cyborg, and would easily be able to dominate any opponent. With the formation of the Tekunin already underway, Sektor embarks on his personal mission to eliminate Cyrax and Smoke. While on the trail of his targets, Sektor has a chance meeting with a shadowy yet familiar being, who brings the opportunity for a powerful alliance...

I imagine Sektor would look different from Cyrax...vastly different. Being the fact that he is upgraded using seperate technology, Sektor would have a unique look to him. One of his alts would feature Sektor without the exterior armor, revealing what little remains of his human body, and his cybernetic implants and devices.

I am Sektor. I am not Lin Kuei, nor am I merely a cyborg. I have at last achieved self-awareness. My upgrades have allowed me to regain my human psyche...a weakness I cannot afford. Regardless, I am in total control of my body. Long have I been a slave to programming by the now broken and disbanded Lin Kuei. The Grandmaster was a fool to assume that giving me self-awareness would make me a more loyal assassin. Now, he and the rest of those weak fools are dead. Though I could not defeat Sub-Zero and gain his amulet, and thereby leadership of the Lin Kuei itself, it is of no consequence. Neither the amulet nor the remnants of the Lin Kuei concern me. My Tekunin is small in number, and though our attempted military coup of the Japanese government did not succeed, my goal was completed. The world now knows of the Tekunin. But there is something more that I must do: My only remaining counterpart, Smoke, is alive and operative. I have been informed by a mysterious, shadowy ninja that he is currently travelling in Outworld. Strange...though I have not seen this warrior before, his presence is all too familiar.

I previously located Cyrax and eliminated him...he was disoriented due to an apparent Realm jump from Outworld. He was a disappointingly easy foe. Weak and with a moral conscience, the fool had given in to his human side. Though damaged, the Special Forces technology that was originally used to restore him had an enormous effect on augmenting my power. Soon, I will be unstoppable. Not even Sub-Zero will be able to stand up to my might, and I have no doubt that our paths will cross again. I continue on my mission to seek and destroy Smoke. The ninja Noob Saibot has agreed to help me in exchange for the technology I have used to create my Tekunin. It is of small consequence to me. Should the ninja cross me, then he too shall be eliminated. I am Sektor...I am loyal to none but myself.

My Story would have been almost exactly what you said. I also feel that Rain, Kitana, Sindel, and Jade should form an Allience in order to kombat with their outworld threats, namely Shao Khan and his extermination squads. It would be off the hisook, Fo sho.

voice over is done by Liu Kang - for thousands of years he protected Earth Realm. But he has gone tired of mortals and no longer cares about us only protecting the realm...

.He is becomeing a dark god and shadow of his former self. It started with the killing of Shujinko but he has becomeing a threat to all mortals.

after the destruction of the dragon king, many things had been resolved, with the ressurection of earths mightiest warriors, earth realm was to return to normal, however, a new more fierce threat exists.

raiden

raidens essence became corrupt by onaga and now raiden has freed and enslaved shinnok, his once great nemesis in order to purify the realms of all threats, as well as to mold existence in his own shape, he decides to use mortal kombat a as a means to do this fairly until the komidogu is put back togheter, using the tournament to gain earth but at the same time ensuring victory regardless of the tournaments outcome.

liu kang, johnny cage, sonya, jax and kung lao accept the invitations they receive from mortal kombats new hosts, along with a mostly new generation of fighters.

subzero is the new defender of earth realm and there fore is required to be at the tournament.

the council of the elder gods noticed raidens corruption and enslavement of shinnok, fujin, also an elder god has been ordered to head a "team" of warriors to destroy raiden, and assist earth realms other fighters in defeating raiden. the warrirors are kai, stryker, nightwolf, smoke, and scorpion.

other evil forces are also waiting in the wings, such as the red dragon, the new black dragon, and remnants of the lin kuei (lead by an undead frost, thanks to the dragon medallion) are all vying for earth.

OK listen to what should be the story for MK7... ok first off shujinko kills the dragon king but rayden then kills shujinko for resurecting the dragon king in the first place. Ermac then free's the captured souls of kung lao, sonya, cage , etc. As well lui kang's body is reanimated and he is brought back to normal. At this stage Rayden has become more powerful and more evil, than ever. The people of earth therefore rebel against rayden and Ermac, kung lao and the others all follow liu kang into battle against rayden. In the mean time Edenia is under relentless attack by shao kahn and his armies and the order real,m is being invaded by the chaos realm, ALSO Noob Saibot created his cyborg army and has taken over the netherrealm and is not leading his armies to earth along with shao kahn. While all the fighting is going on Edenia and the order realm are begging for help but earth is alreaddy battling Rayden, Shao kahn, and Noob Saibt's armies, and then the elder gods send some warriors back from the dead to aid all of the earthrealm fighters in their quest to defend earth realm for their many invaders. As well as fighting earth Shao kahn and noob saibot are also locked in battle, and the black dragon clan is in a heated battle in charos realm with the red dragon clan to control the chaos realm, And that is where they should leave us in the game, they should also bring back as many characters as possible like , Rain, Sektor, Stryker, Motoro, Sheeva, human smoke, obviosly shao kahn is a must, and as many other as people can think of anyway, I know my story is complex but if you think about it, it's very possible and a cool storyline none the less so ya and Go ERMAC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sub Zero
Origin: Earthrealm

While battling the forces of the Dragon King, Sub Zero felt his armour speak to him, and encourage him in battle. Ever eager to find out his heritage and origin, Sub Zero travelled with Kenshi. On his journey, Sub Zero encountered an old Ally, the Robot Smoke. Smoke recognised Sub Zero immediately, and stepped aside as his master emerged from the Shadows.....Noob Saibot, Sub Zero's older brother. Knowing the wraith was evil and beyond help from good, Sub Zero and Kenshi attacked the duo, but Sub Zero could not bring himself to kill them, and both disappeared into the shadows. Worried by his brother’s return, Sub Zero became more anxious to find information of his heritage. An observer to the fight, Queen Sindel of Edenia, informed Sub Zero that the Edenian Vaults may hold the answer to his questions. The two set out together for Edenia, but Sub Zero knew this would be no easy journey.


Sareena
Origin: Netherealm
Status: Netherealm Demon and Lin Kuei General.

Allies: Sub Zero, Frost, Shujinko, Kitana
Foes: Noob Saibot, The Brotherhood of Shadows, Quan Chi, Shinnok

Sareena had escaped the vile stenches of the Netherealm by means of an abandoned portal, and found herself in Outworld. There she met Sub Zero, who granted her sanctuary in the Lin Kuei Temple as she had aided his Brother in the past. In return, and to prove her allegiance, Sareena trained the Lin Kuei, and acted as second in command as Sub Zero and Frost fought the Deadly Alliance. Upon hearing the news of the up rise of Onaga, Sareena grew worried that she had heard nothing from Sub Zero. She left for Outworld, only to meet a familiar face, a fellow Demon Ashrah. Ashrah sensed evil, and attacked, but she was weak, so Sareena overcame her with little effort. Ashrah informed Sareena that Sub Zero was in danger from Noob Saibot, who is now known to be the original Sub Zero. Sareena left Ashrah battered and bruised, and hurried to try and find her master, foolishly leaving the Lin Kuei Temple vulnerable. She would take great delight in slaying one master to prove allegiance to another. But being one of few who knows both Brothers, where do her loyalties lie?

Fujin
Origin: The Heavens.
Status: God of Wind and Protector of Earthrealm.
Alignment: Good
Allies: Liu Kang, Kai, Kung Lao, Rayden, Peiran.
Foes: Shinnok, Shao Khan, Onaga

Much to Fujin’s delight, the Elder gods did not allow Rayden to die after he sacrificed himself to stop Onaga, nor did they allow the Deadly Alliance to perish. When Rayden’s essence was restored in the heavens, Fujin knew all was not right. His brother was wracked with anger from the stupidity of mortals. He accompanied Rayden to Earth, worried about what he might do. Fujin had good reason to worry. After Shujinko helped defeat Onaga, Earths warriors were freed from his control. As a lesson, and warning to the others, Rayden obliterated Shujinko for his part inOnaga’s return. Earth’s fighters were astonished, and sensing things were not right, Jax attacked Rayden. He was foolish and met the same fate as Shujinko. Fujin could not stand by idly and watch such brutality. He reported the incident to the Elder Gods who ordered him to Protect Earths fighters and stop Raydens barbaric behaviour at all costs.


Sindel
Origin: Edenia
Status: Queen of Edenia

After helping to free her daughter and her Earthrealm comrades from Onaga’s control, Sindel returned to her throne in Edenia, and ordered Kitana to amass a new army. During her sojourn in Outworld, Sindel encountered the Lin Kuei Master Sub Zero. She had encountered him before, but Sindel sensed the immense power which now resided within him. Sub Zero informed her of his journey and the search for his true Origins and Heritage. It was as they parted company that Sindel noticed the markings on Sub Zero’s clothes. She had seen them somewhere before. In the Edenian vaults. Sindel informed the ninja, and allowed him access to the vaults, but only Edenian’s lineage could enter such sacred ground, so she would have to accompany him if he wanted to gather more information.


Kitana
Origin: Edenia
Status: Princess

Allies: Sindel, Jade, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Sareena
Foes: Shao Kahn, Mileena, Tanya, Deadly Alliance, Onaga

Now aware of Mileena’s return, and the betrayal of Goro, Kitana has no choice but to rebuild an army to take down her enemies. Her mother Queen Sindel, has found a new ally in Sub Zero, and he has sent orders to Sareena to provide fighters to join Kitana’s army. Kitana has decided for now, to let Mileena pose as her, while Jade watches her actions closely. Mileena would draw attention away from the princess, allowing her time to plan her attack and build her army. The resurgence of Kitana’s enemies is not the only problem she must face, however. Kitana’s past has come back to haunt her. Although she was not aware of her actions while under the control of Onaga, Kitana cannot help but feel guilty for the evil she had done. In the past, she had served Shao Khan as an assassin. Evil resided within her. Kitana fears that the taint of Onaga’s evil may reside within her due to her past. She must fight to keep her evil thoughts and enemies at bay.

Khameleon
Origin: Zaterra

After being separated from the only other known living member of her species- Reptile, Khameleon desperately tried to find other existing raptors. Her mission was unsuccessful.... she was the last living raptor. Being female, she can mate with any individual, and since her chosen partner Reptile seems to have disappeared, Khameleon must chose another mate in order to rejuvenate her race, and use them as an army against the being who slaughtered her ancestors, Shao Khan. Khameleon’s mate must be a skilled and powerful warrior if her resulting army are to stand a chance against Outworld’s forces. In order to find out who the best mate is, Khameleon must contact the Earth warrior Kung Lao, and join his team of fighters. Knowing that the Earth warriors have many allies, as well as enemies, Khameleon knows her joining them will bring her face to face with many potential mates.

Nitara
Origin: Realm of Kikillia
Status: Vampire

( ) the leader of the vampire realm Kikillia, praised Nitara for her triumph. Nitara had, for the time being, eliminated the risk of Shao Kahn invading their world by destroying the orb which bound Kikillia to Outworld. But there was one problem, Nitara had lost their people valuable feeding ground. Nitara informed her master of her travels in Earthrealm, and of the realm of Edenia, which had people pure of heart, much like Earthrealm. Eager to explore these realms more, ( ) Ordered his personal guard Angelus to travel to Edenia while Nitara set out to Earth. But first, she must travel to the Netherealm to meet the cyborg Cyrax. He had helped Nitara obtain the mystical orb, and in return, was promised transport back to Earthrealm. Little did he know Nitara sensed she would need his services once more, and foolishly trusted her, resulting in him being stranded in the Netherealm. Nitara must convince her ally that this was indeed, a mistake.

NB: I havent decided on the names for the Kikillian Ruler, I've just put ( ). I'll add their name later.


Havik
Origin: Chaosrealm

Once Onaga’s body had been destroyed, Havik entered the Dragon King’s castle and ripped the heart from the corpse. The heart of Onaga’s temporary body has temporary power to revive the dead. In order to bring turmoil to the realms, Havik used the heart to revive the Emperor of Outworld, Shao Khan. Little did he know, the one he revived was a mere clone. This impressed Havik even more, the only thing more turbulent than one Shao Khan would be two. The cloned Khan took Havik before his master, and informed him of Havik’s doing. Seeing that he had intentions of ‘good’, the emperor ordered Havik to bestow havoc upon the realms of Earth and Edenia. Having thrown the realm of Seido into disarray with the murder of many Seidan Guards and the death of Darrius, Havik seized the opportunity to spread chaos. As Noob Saibot, along with Smoke, battled his Brother Sub-Zero and his companion Kenshi, Smoke began to malfunction unexpectedly. Knowing he alone could not match the combined might of an empowered Sub Zero and Kenshi, Noob transported himself and his servant to the Netherealm. Noob Saibot could that Sub Zero had somehow gained great power, and sent out members of The Brotherhood of Shadows, a clan lead by Noob himself, to gain knowledge of the origin of Sub Zero’s power. It was from the Netherealm that Noob Saibot would activate his plan to conquer all realms. Noob Saibot dispatched members of the continually growing Brotherhood to Earth, Outworld and Edenia. By taking out their best fighters, Noob Saibot will show that the Netherealm is once again a force to be reckoned with. His enemies would suffer a painful death at the hands of the ones who would call him master.

"After we were freed from Shao Kahn's enslavement we sought to make amends for the evil we did for him. We decided the best place to start was to assist Liu Kang's spirit in freeing his comrades from the evil influence of Onaga the Dragon King. We and Liu Kang had succeeded in freeing the Princess Kitana and we set to free the others.
"While the armies of Outworld led by Bo' Rai Cho assaulted Onaga's fortress, we alonside the warrior Shujinko infiltrated Onaga's fortress. Shujinko sought to challenge Onaga while we found Liu Kang's allies being used as Onaga's slaves. We were successful in freeing Kung Lao and Jax, but Onaga's reinforcements interfered before we had the chance to free the others. Outnumbered, we were forced to retreat. We and Kung Lao managed to escape. However, Jax was not so fortunate.
"As we fled Onaga's fortress, we also found Shujinko. Although he could not defeat the Dragon King, he did manage to steal one of the Kamidogu. With it, we follow Kung Lao and Shujinko to Earth where we await Onaga's inevitable invasion. It seems now we have become a part of Earth's defences, although we fear even without the final Kamidogu Onaga is already to strong.
"But that is not what concerns us. We sense something else is out there. A darker evil, manipulating events and even Onaga to serve it's purpose. Something watching and waiting for the perfect time to reveal it's master stroke. We do not know what this secret threat is, but we fear it could mean the end of all that exists. While our newfound Earthrealm allies deal with Onaga, we must discover what this secret is..."

"I broke the rules by remaining on Earth. After Shang Tsung's death my soul was to move on to the Heavens where I'd rest in peace. But I could not rest. Not while my friends were enslaved by a new evil in the Dragon King. Not while my body was revived as a tool for evil. My soul could not rest until my friends were safe and my possessed body stopped.
"In my journey I found an unexpected ally in Ermac. I accepted his help and we set out to free my friends. The first was Princess Kitana. Sadly, I fear we were unable to free her before she fought her mother. As Ermac and I searched for a safe place to hide Kitana until she regained consciousness we were attacked by my body. With Ermac's help I defeated and destroyed my possessed mortal form.
"Unfortunatly, by doing so we seemed to seal my fate, for my soul could not exist in the mortal world without my body. After Ermac and I found someplace safe for Kitana, I was summoned to the Heavens. As my soul left the mortal realm I urged him to find the rest of my friends and free them. All I remember then was a bright light.
"But it seems, my part in this is not yet over. In the light I heard a voice. In return for my deeds as Champion of Mortal Kombat, I would be granted one chance to regain my life and live again. I am to go on a journey to find the Temple of Shou-Lao. If I can face the trials of the Temple, I will earn the right to live again. I must go on this quest alone...no one can know or help me. I can only hope my friends can defeat the evils that threaten them while I am gone.
"However as I begin my journey, I receive a cryptic message; almost like a warning. It's meaning I do not know......'The One Being awaits.'"

Raiden

Raiden saw the fall of the dragon king at the hands of Shujinko but did not care that he defeated him and made up for his mistakes. Raiden waited for Shunjinko to try to return to earthrealm and then killed him as he attempted to enter. Raiden felt something he had not felt before, a great new power a great new ability, and a thurst for blood. Raiden re-entered earthrealm only to realize something he hadn't before. He now understood why Shinnok wanted the earthrealm and he understood shinnoks thinking before he was banished with a small grin on his face Raiden stepped back through the portal only to step out into the neatherrealm. He was going to enjoy his new found power.

Raiden found Shinnok in the lowest plain of the realm, and Shinnok did not hesitate to attack Raiden. Raiden halted the fallen god with a flash of a very useful item, it was Shinnoks amulate, the real one. Raiden told Shinnok of his new found powers and how he understood him in his thinkings. Raiden then opened a portal back to earthrealm, they had alot of work to do and little time to do it before the elder gods found out what they were up to. Raiden new just what to do and he knew of a few different warriors of whom they could use to achieve their goal....... of complete domination.



Fujin

Fujin felt like a failure, Raiden was the one who went into outworld with the earth warriors not him. he felt that he was still not seen for the god he was. the eldergods looked down on him as a weaker god and he knew it. he went to the earthrealm portal to wait for the return of the earth warriors when he saw Raiden step out from the portal. Fujin was about to approach the thunder god but then he noticed the blood on raidens hands and the saddistic smile on his face. Fujin knew something was wrong. he went the the elder gods himself and demanded to know what had happened. the elder gods told him of the events with the dragon king and the taint that had filled Raidens essence. Fujin was outraged that he was not informed of these happenings, and asked to be the one to bring down his brother and his new ally Shinnok. the elder gods excepted him and gave him new abilities to match those of Raidens, they also sent with him another god to be his ally in the fight, the god of fire. they would gather together the earth warriors and attempt to take down this evil godly force.

Fujin and the god of fire set out to collect the earth warriors and the warriors from the other realms. Fujin had collected most of the warriors when he was summoned by the elder gods. Raiden had contacted them he said he was going to hold the Mortal kombat tourniment on the original island it was held on in earth realm and all from everyrealm was invited to fight in it. Fujin knew this was some form of a trap, it had to be. But fujin could not back down he had to take up the challenge, and with that he informed the earth warriors and they headed out to the tourniment.

Sub-Zero

Sub-Zero has a heavy burden on his heart, after the Dragon King was defeated he was attacked by his good friend Smoke and his new partner Noob Saibot. they came close to beating him until he said something to Smoke. "I'm sorry I old friend, I failed in saving you." Smoke stopped attacking and Noob grew upset. He attacked the cyborg only to meet an equal as noob could not defeat him. Sub-Zero saw that they were equal and jumped into the fight to fix that. Sub-Zero and Smoke escaped through a portal to earthrealm. On the way back to the Lin Kuei hide out, Smoke told Sub-Zero about Noob and that he was the corrupt soul of his older brother. Sub-zero was overwelmed by the news, he could not bare it. When they arrived at the hide out, the place looked as if it had been attacked. Sub-Zero rushed inside to find Sareena sitting badly wounded and a surprising Kenshi aiding her. Kenshi explained that he traveled here, remembering all that Sub-Zero had told him. Kenshi told Sub-Zero that when he got here the place was under attack by members of the Brotherhood of shadow. Sarrena told Sub-Zero that they didn't come for her but they came to destroy the place. they were lead by a ninja they thought to be dead..... Frost. Sareena told Sub-Zero that if it hadn't been for a strong warrior then they would of surly died. Sub-zero went to thank Kenshi but Kenshi cut him off saying that it wasn't him. Sub-Zero was going to ask who it was when out from a doorway walked Scorpion.

Scorpion had explained that he had become the Champion of the elder gods and that Raiden had gone evil. he explained that the elder gods have been informed of a mortal kombat tourniment run by Raiden and shockingly enough Shinnok. Scorpion said that he was informed of everything by the elder gods and thathe knew the brotherhood was attacking the hide out. He also said he knew that Noob was the original Sub-zero. Scorpion told Sub-zero he wishes to join him in his fight against evil as request of the elder gods so that they could win the tourniment and he promised Sub-zero that he would help fight against noob. Sub-Zero new that he would soon face his brother. and he wasn't sure if he could trust Scorpion but he took his chances in hope of getting revenge against frost, noob and everyone else who has broughten him so much pain.

I found this disturbing. Raiden left, and i ambushed Quan Chi. He was weak and i defeated him easily. I questioned him over what Raiden wanted. He said Raiden wanted his assistence to take over Earthrealm. I was very suprised. I had to act quickly.
"I must stop Raiden. I must save earthrealm. With this new found power of the elder gods.

"All my life, I've been the 'good guy.' My entire life I've fought to preserve the greater 'good.' I joined the Special Forces so I could be a hero. I volunteered to take down the Black Dragon because I believed what I was doing was right. I fought alongside monks, ninjas, and gods so I could save the world. So I could be a hero.
"What a waste. For all my heroics, all I have to show for it are battle scars and painful memories. I joined with my allies against the two sorcerers Quan Chi and Shang Tsung....playing the hero again. Fat lot of good it did. We lost. We failed and died only with only the thought that our world was doomed to comfort us.
"But then something happened. We were found by the Dragon King and he brought us back from death. I don't know how the experience affected the others, but I know how it affected me. It opened my eyes. I finally see what a waste my life has been. I finally see how I've been wasting my life and potential on a lost cause.
"No more. Onaga set me free. He gave me my new life and in return I give him my loyalty. I told him what he needed to know about Earth's best line of defense from invasions from other realms. I personally led the attack on the Special Forces. One by one they all died. The Special Forces are gone and I feel no pity or shame. I feel righteous. My new mission is to find Kung Lao and his allies. They will soon fall just as the Special Forces fell.
"I am forever in Onaga's debt. He set me free."

"I feel my soul being lost. During the brief moment my soul was planted in the body of a Dragon King warrior, I felt it tainted. Tainted by something dark and unnatural. The training of master Bo' Rai Cho helped me resist, but as hope in Outworld fades I continue to feel this deep urge to join Onaga's ranks. I fear soon Bo' Rai Cho's training will not be enough.
"What was left of the forces of good tried to mount an assault on the mighty Dragon King but our efforts proved to be in vain. During the battle, my master fell. With his dying words he urged me to resist the growing darkness in my soul and to continue to fight against Onaga's evil. I had little time to grieve for my fallen teacher as Onaga's armies pressed on.
"As the heroes of Earth retreat back to their realm to prepare for Onaga's coming invasion, I learn of the fate of Kung Lao's Earthrealm ally Sonya Blade and how her mind has been twisted into being loyal to Onaga. I must help any way I can and I decide I will try to save Sonya from Onaga's power.
"To accomplish this dangerous mission, I infiltrate Onaga's forces. He senses the darkness in my soul and assumes my loyalty genuine. I am partnered with Sonya and we are sent to find Kung Lao and assassinate him. While we search for him I will try to reach through to Sonya and help her regain her memory and free her from Onaga's control. But I must be careful, for Onaga's hold on her is tight.
"But.....as I stay close to Sonya, I feel the evil in my own soul growing. I fear I may soon join her before she joins me. Now I am fighting not just for the lives of her Earthrealm allies or for her....but my own soul as well."

"For as long as I can remember, people have complained about me. They said I have no discipline...no direction...no responsibility....I never take things seriously...blah blah blah. I always took it in stride. While my friends would stress themselves over the next big evil and how we were going to fight it, I was the one who kept a calm head. I'm Johnny Cage son...nothing can touch me.
"Guess I was wrong. The joke ended when we died fighting the Deadly Alliance. It wasn't the first time I've encountered death, but that didn't make it any easier. As I died, I did kind of wish I had done more with myself. That I was more than the joke of the group.
"Lucky me...my wish was granted. We were resurrected by our new master Onaga. And he's opened my eyes. For the first time in my life, I have direction. A purpose. The mindless, irresponsible Johnny Cage is dead. Now I am focused. I know my purpose. Onaga is my master and I will give my life for him if need be.
"My new mission is to watch over my ally Sonya as she goes out to assassinate Kung Lao and his friends. A new recruit named Li Mei has offered to help Sonya, but Onaga suspects Li Mei cannot be trusted. I am to watch them and make sure she doesn't try anything. If she does, I'll see to it she suffers the punishment she deserves.
"At long last...I have a purpose. Happy now?"

Remember when we were doing this for MK DA. I can't believe its been that long. Nice bios shang and like I have said many times, you should work for Midway. Your ideas are brilliant.

Baraka

Storyline: Consumed by his hatred for his former partner Mileena, Baraka does not see the oncoming army lead by Bo Rai Cho. Baraka's brute strength and fury is no match for the ancient master's Skill and determination.

Baraka wakes up and sees a familiar face; he and Mileena are both at the mercy of Noob Saibot, the new tyranical leader of the Netherealm. Both will do his bidding, or suffer. Baraka and Mileena are just a few in the many fallen warriors under the former Lin Kuei's power.

Storyline: When Noob orders Smoke to kill Sub-Zero, Smoke refuses. This results in a bloody battle between the two in which Smoke is killed. Sub-Zero is roused to consciousness after the battle, and escapes from the Netherealm. Noob decides to use a new arrival to the Netherealm to go after him. Her name is Frost, and unbeknownst to Sub-Zero, she is their younger sister.

Storyline- The Being known as Ermac came to a frightening realization at the end of MKD. Among the souls trapped inside his corporal form are seeds of evil planted by The One Being himself. It turns out that Ermac is to be the vessel in which the One Being returns to rule over the one realm. Ermac embarks on a mission to destroy Onaga, knowing that at the end of this battle, he must also destroy himself.

Storyline: Upon hearing of the new Deadly Alliance formed by Goro and Shao Kahn, Onaga hires personal protection. His bodyguard is the only Shokan to ever match power with Goro, Kintaro. Once close friends with the Prince of Kuatan, Kintaro's ferocity and blood lust allows him to forget their friendship, and his former ally.

Your Shinnok theory is great Shang_heihachi, though I would like to see a similar storyline incorporating the concept of Quan Chi's "Living Weapon", the sceptre apparently wielding the decapitated and disgusting head of Shinnok himself. I could not escape, nor scream. Suspended by the sharp sceptre enforced through my skull, my decapitated torso lay rotting in the molten bowels of the Netherrealm. Cursed for an endless eternity, eradicating my former allies one by one at the command of Quan Chi. I was his pawn. His Living Weapon. When he begun deciding to wreak further havoc on the Elder Gods, I felt slightly impressed by my captive's decision. Entering the portal into Earthrealm would defy him, however... I was sustained in the Netherrealm by a force I was obliged to forget.

Lucifer. His aura was all too familiar... Yet strangely different, as well. He materialized before me, removed my head and commanded a fellow Elder Demon to locate my remains. He faced myself towards his own -- Yet I saw no evil in his eyes. It was as if he was somehow erasing my intentions... I suddenly felt weakened and succumbed to his glance. It was then I realized our purpose, as the Rulers of the Netherrealm. Quan Chi was forgotten, as I embraced Lucifer's personal ambition -- the eradication of Noob Saibot. His conquests with nanotechnology were becoming reason for concern. I was reunited with my body, and felt life return through my reattached veins. Together we would sweep the Netherrealm of all who oppose us. Our evil incarnate... The universe will wait for us.

Back story:
A powerful warrior in his past life, and best friend of Sub-Zero, Smoke was one of the top assassins in his field. His ability to disperse his body, into mist and travel in and out of otherwise inpreginable locations made him an invalubale candidate for infiltration and reconoscence. He sharred a strong bond with Sub-Zero. They vowed never to fight in actual combat. However, when the Lin Kuie decided to begin the automation of their ninjas into error proof cyborg assassins, Smoke and Sub-Zero decided to flee. They would not have their bodies subjected to such travestey, and in the process loose their souls. Smoke and Sub-Zero attempted to flee the Lin Kuei compound but Smoke was captured and automated shortly after. His first order was to assist his two other clan brothers, Sektor and Cyrax in their mission to capture and if needed, terminate him. However, with the strength and support of his friend Sub-Zero, Smoke was able to tap into the deepest reaches of his soul and regain part of his humanity. He assisted Sub-Zero in evading capture, but intern was captured by Kahn's extermination squads and thrown into Kahn's dungeon as a trophy of what would be Kahn's failed attempt at conquering Earth realm. Smoke's power cell would go into an auto shutdown and he would remain in the dungeon for the next several years until he would be reactivated, and reprogramed by Sub-Zero's older brother, Noob- Saibot. Under his control, Smoke was to become the first step in evolution of a new breed of cyber demon and take Netherealm for his master. On the inside, Smoke tried to resist, but on the outside he would kill endlessly and without emotion. With the defeat of the Dragon King, Noob and Smoke realized that staying in Outworld would not be the best course of action and returned to the Netherealm. While their, Noob would run into the ascending demon huntress known as Ashrah who defeated Noob in battle, earning her way out of the Netherealm. Smoke would have been her next target had the Netherealm not tried to regect him, and in the process showing that their was still some good in the Lin Kuei warrior. Feeling pity for Smoke, but unable to help, Ashrah departed into Edenia. With Smoke trapped in a state of limbo between being ejected into another realm and staying because of his form, he was useless to Noob Saibot and was left to lay on the floor of the Netherealm. However, Smoke's soul was far from gone. After being used, treated as property, and betrayed by his own bretheren, Smoke wanted nothing more to escape the realm and seek retribution as well as attone for his past sins. Smoke's frame begin to let loose a red mist from it's vents as it lay in the Netherealm. The smoke began to build upward, reaching towards the sky, slowly taking on a humanoid shape. Two glowing eyes appear in the red mist as it kicks the cybernetic shell into a nearby lava pit and walks away.....

First, I'm a Scorpion man. Second, it's Sub ... yeah yeah how original! But hey. I love em.

HERE WE GO ::: THE END OF REALMS

Subzero wins Deception. Ends up in the Nexxus where he meets Scorpion who, holding Quan chi's skull AND amulet, tells him he wants Zero's soul once and for all.

The most EPIC battle ever seen in the MK universe takes place, and in the end Scorpion, with the amulet, kills Sub Zero (again but for real).
Zero's blue soul flies up twirling it's way to heaven, and Scorp, finally at peace, his yellow soul shoots down like a bat out of hell.
But the two souls can't break past reality's barrier. They can't for some reason leave the nexxus or eachother. Screams are heard and the two sould shoot back at one another like powerfully explosive magnets. A rift in the nexxus is created. The nexxus rips apart and all reality get sucked in. Forging with eachother into one, new, twisted reality. No portals. No earth. Just the nexxus of reailty itself. A world of fire and ice!
The polarity of the two ninjas CAN'T be undone. But reality has and is again. History repeats itself but in a whole new way, in favour of nobody.

Shao Khan looses his power. All kings are merely peasants in this odd new world. Even Raiden goes down a notch, becoming only the most powerful of peasants.
And as all this tranpires, Scorpion and SubZero reform, but different. they're now the only two elder gods in existance (I GOTTA draw these pictures so you see what I'm seeing :D ).
They didn't choose or even WANT this burden. The burden of God's. But they know if they don't keep fighting eachother all reality will cease. It will either freeze or melt in stagnation. So Ice-God Sub Zero, and Fire-God Scorpion fight eternally, causing a great suffering for all, until the inhabitants of ONE-REALM can find a way to undo what they have inadvertantly done.

Raiden's got some work to do! And so do we. Because in this game, you have to beat it to play as the Gods... Sub or Scorp. No freebies (even if it means I have to break my tradition of always playing as Scorpion first).

CHARECTERS:
Raiko: Finally free to kill Shao Khan (come on, you know you want it!) He wants to own this new reality.
Reptile: back but as a combination of his original and the King he became.
Sindell: On her own mission to stop this madness, bringing her crew (good and bad) along with her.
Liu Kangs Soul: He stays with Sub and Scorp trying to break up the fight, not knowing that that would undo reality. He's more on Subs side, out of habbit.
Raiden: Trying to save the world... Again! But with Bo Rai Cho and Ashrah as his new and impowerred sidekicks.
Noob, Smoke, Rain, and all other Ninjas: now belong to Scorpion as the Brotherhood had realised without fire (light) there is no shadow.
Fujin: has become a renegade. He's thankful this has happened. Now he is free to do what he likes. He now spearheads the Resistance joined by Darrius and Dairou who all enjoying the chaos.

"Many thousands of years ago, our realm of Zaterra was conquered by the dark emperor Shao Kahn. To prevent our people from being wiped out, our leader offered her only offspring to Shao Kahn. In exchange for our lives, the offspring named Reptile grew up as Shao Kahn's most loyal and devoted follower. While Reptile served Shao Kahn, we were allowed to live.
"But Shao Kahn is a deceiver and a liar. While Reptile dutifully served him like a pet, we were secretly enslaved and slowly driven to extinction. I could no longer stand to watch my people die and Reptile be deceived into serving our killer. Many times I tried to reach Reptile and warn him that Shao Kahn was killing our people. But I failed. The last of my people died leaving only Reptile and I as the last of our kind.
"When Shao Kahn invaded Earthrealm, I assumed the human form of one of his female assassins and tried to reach Reptile and tell him the truth with the hope that we could avenge our people. When I finally was close, I was attacked by several robed men who locked me away in a dark cave. They said I would not interfere with the 'chosen one' or his destiny. What that meant, I do not know.
"I was trapped in the cave for some time. Because of a totem talisman of my people, I am able to retain my memory, intelligence and a somewhat human form. Just recently though, I caught Reptile's scent not too far away. In a desperate rage, I broke free from my imprisonment. I followed Reptile's sent, but only found shards of a dragon egg and some tattered clothes.
"I escaped the cave only to discover that Reptile's body has somehow been taken over by a creature called the Dragon King. But I can still feel Reptile's soul. I have to believe that the real Reptile still exists somewhere in that monster. I have to somehow reach him. I failed my people, but I cannot fail Reptile. Not again."

"I've no one to blame but myself for being in this wretched state. Allied with Quan Chi, I assisted in the deaths of Liu Kang, Shao Kahn, and the warriors of Earth. With his help we even bested the mighty Thunder God. We had won. The world was ours for the taking. But I knew enough about Quan Chi to know that with our enemies desposed of and the Dragon King's army revived I was no longer required for his plans. I knew I had to make the first move.
"Unfortunatly, I underestimated the power his Amulet granted him. My blows did nothing, while with only a few strikes from him had me on my knees. And suddenly his hand was at my throat and his grip was tightening. Its ironic...only a few moments earlier, I had witnessed him do the same to Princess Kitana. Then something most unexpected happened.
"Before Quan Chi could crush my neck the mighty Dragon King himself arrived, intent on reclaiming his army. Although we had turned on one another, Quan Chi and I both knew the Dragon King had no use for us and we were forced to allign yet again. Even Raiden had joined us. But even our combined power could barely slow the Dragon King down. Raiden then began powering some sort of attack. Just as the Dragon King was about to reach us, I saw Quan Chi turn to flee, followed by a great light.
"I had no time to think....only to act. I unleashed every soul I had ever stolen in my existence to defend myself from Raiden's attack. When I came to, I was buried under the rubble that was once my palace. Unleashing the souls saved me, but unfortunatly I no longer possess my youth.
"I return to the shadows to regroup. I've come to learn that Shao Kahn is indeed still alive. That my old Earthrealm enemies are alive once again as well. Some still enslaved by Onaga. Even if I wanted to return to Shao Kahn, I doubt he'd accept me. Onaga's made it clear he has no use for me. I've no intention of allying with Quan Chi again. It seems if I am to survive this ordeal and regain my power I may have no choice but to put my trust in some old enemies..."
