Im glad to see so many people are interested!! I thought I was the only one! As for the characters Id like to see first, its gotta be the ninjas - SubZero, Scorpion, Ermac, Smoke and Noob (he'd make a badass figure!!). Another cool idea would be a bust of a zombie Liu Kang! How sweet would that look!!

Ya know, for those of you who want toys to PLAY with...

Then go with JAKKS Pacific. Talk about durability and style, my fucking god.

Collectibles - McFarlane
Actual toys - JAKKS Pacific

Mcfarlane!

Not Jakks. I don't wanna play with these figures. I wanna display them. Let them stick with Wrestling figures.

My Top 6 MK figures I'd love for Mcfarlane to Make:

1) Sub-Zero
2) Scorpion
3) Ermac
4) Kabal
5) Shang-Tsung (MK 2)
6) Shao Kahn

Todd Mcfarlane needs to make an entire line of MK characters. Not only from Deception. They would look so fucking badass.

Mcfarlane = The best.

Absolutely, they can do a animated-MK movie while they are at it, DOTR was lame.
Well, what is this guy's e-mail?

The ones I would like to see:
1)Baraka
2)Sub-Zero
3)Sektor
4)Nightwolf
5)Ermac
6)Scorpion

I thought of a great idea for Mcflaren if he did these. Since they would be scenery and background etc., he could have the people inside of the cells in the prison level as well.

Hey boys... what about the chicks?

I love Mileena's concept for MK:D. I think she looks amazing and I would love to see a figure of her. She's like like badass, yet deceptively... pretty. I would also like to see Kitana and Sonya... and all the other cool chicks. A Nitara figure would be badass with her wings and skimpy clothes.

Don't forget each character has TWO costumes as well..

I would LOVE to see some new updated figures. It would be awesome. Come on Midway, you have customers... make some money.

You're right! How could I forget? Mileena from Deception would be amazing. With the little mask that comes off to show her teeth. And the little bit of clothing that she has. Mcfarlane always produces Variants of his figures. For instance, a figure with a different color than usual is harder to get/worth more money. So Mcfarlane could produce Alternate costumes as Variants.

IE: Reptile in MK 4 as a regular figure. And his rare variant figure would be him in his ninja outfit and pose from MK 2.

I'm getting excited just talking about how sweet these figures would look!
Whoops! :P

Yes I agree we do need a few of chicks for the first series.

1)Frost (MK:DA 1st outfit)
2)Lei Mei (MK:D 1st outfit.)
3)Mileena (MK:D 1st outfit)

I would like to see whoever sculpted for Infinite Concepts to get the rights and make these available:

http://www.toymania.com/toyfair2000/infinite/infinite2000.shtml

Apperently Infinite Concepts is the brand that made it not the name of the series. It has its own logo and everything. Hmmmm... they made some awesome figures as it seems, but I don't ever recall the second series going into stores?!?!? I search and search on e-bay and I only find the first series and goro from the second. Man, Jax looks great and so does reptile. Too bad they still don't have these on the shelves...they could make a fortune.

They were decent looking. I always though their bodies looked weird. Mcfarlane would do the best job with these no doubt.

McFarlane is overrated. I would rather see Palisades do it. At least their figures don't fall apart when you open them. I have some figures from both companies (Muppets and Kiss) and Palisades can do quality sculpts without compromising the figure.

The Infinite Concepts figures would have been great because they looked good and were posable. I feel a toy should look good on a shelf - but in the pose I chose (again, Macfarlane makes statues, not toys).

I don't understand why people are still fixated on Macfarlane anyways - all of the other companies have more than caught up with them...Hasbro does Starwars Unleashed, Mattel did great HeMan, Palisades did Muppets, Toybiz did LOTR. All of these show that other companies can compete (usually providing a more durable product at the same time).

Woah! I can't believe this!

Check this out. Somebody made these on e-bay! How awesome would it beto have these?!?!

Man, I wish they made some new ones....think of the possibilities with technology today.

Wow, when I first saw this, I thought it was gonna be totally bashed, flamed, and other stupid internet terms describing its humiliation. Come on guys, action figures? What would you guys do, play with them? Look at them? I think the main reason that action figures aren't being released is that most people who play Mortal Kombat are too old to "appreciate" them, and don't think that I mean that they are anything to be appreciated in the first place. Sure they look cool, but that's what pictures are for. Yeah, I had a few action figures back when I was in kingergarten, the year that I started playing MK. But how many other people start these kinds of games at such a young age, especially during this day and age? Sorry about the negativity, guys but I'm gonna have to disagree on this one.
Well, if you were a true diehard MK fanyou would buy as much as stuff as possible. Its all for collecting, some may play with them, somemay keep them in the box, and some may put them in a cool pose on a shelf.

Palisades already did a line of MK figures - It had Rayden, Goro, Sub-Zero and Sonya. I have one of the SubZeros and they look great but they do not have much posability. The best of the line is Goro thoguh. Its awsome!! looks just like him! hunt him down on ebay!
McFarlane.. heh.. I don't think it'd happen. It'd be sweet.

I love it when people bash on McFarlane like he only does action figures..

Sorry, toy collecting is not about age. It's about fun. I am 27 yrs old - and have:
Drew and Mimi from the Drew Carey show
KISS figures (about 16 I think, plus some minifig)
Earthworm Jim figures (only a few)
along with a ton of other misc stuff...

and my primary collection:
350+ Starwars figures.

Toys are a great way to show your interests - the Skeletor in my cubicle at work was a great conversation piece. In fact - alot of toylines are strickly adult anyways - Macfarlane focuses almost exclusively on adult collectors...

I agree with N8little. I just see Video Game action figures as merchandise which i collect. Its cool to have a mini Master Chief on my desk at home and I like having a Ryu to scare off intruders!! I just think theyre cool!
