I happened to get the whole Infinite Concept set when they first cam out. I didn't open the sub zero and scorpion but I did for the others. I'm still not sure if I will. It would be sweet if infinite concepts did do all mk series they would sell like hotcakes. Who knows what happened to them I was going to get the 2nd series but it was never released.
Oh yeah and toys aren't for just kids you know. I'm one of the oldies here 24 and they look good. I've got a starscream armada japanese version and it is sweet.

Theres a certain point when you have to stop playing with toys. But theres never a set age when you have to stop collecting them. And thats what I do. I rarely open my figures. But when I find one thats really badass Usually I won't open it until I find another so I could open one of them.

hell ya itd be frickin awsome mkd had action figures..specially if todd mcfarlane does them..those ones ur found on e-bay are hot!!
The infinite concept toys are amazing!
I only have Sonya sadly, bought her online. Very expensive since its rare now.
But I also have one awesome little Cyrax from MkTrilogy and a big Jade.
And all the MK comic collection.
I say yes, and the first figures should be Mileena, Ermac, Sub-Zero and Zombi Liu Kang, and if she is there, Sonya.

I got a reply from the president of SOTA! It goes like this:
Thanks for the email. We're fans of MK and the idea of doing figures is something we have thought about. It is possible but for the next few months we only have enough time to focus on Street fighter. Once we see how well that does we'll revisit the idea of MK.
Sincerely,
Jerry Macaluso

Sounds cool. If they are fans then thatll make them more likely to make some figures. Who would you like in the first wave? i'd like Noob, Scorpion, Sub Zero, Liu Kang, Kenshi and Kung Lao (MK2)

Sounds promising, hopefully they'll follow through.

Man I would love to get my hands on either a Scorpion throwing out his spear (hmm gonna have to go for the movie spear with the mouth open) and/or Sub-Zero doing his ice blast. I wouldn't mind Raiden holding up his hand recieving a lighting bolt kinda similar to the Highlander 3 picture.

i would by all of them
I've seen pics of the Street Fighter Series by Sota, and I gotta say that if this company makes an MKD line or just an MK line period...It would be very cool. I already have firm plans to get all of the SF series and without question I will do the same if they produce an MK line.

Hmm, SOTA seems to be a very respected toy company but judging from the information and pictures of their Street Fighter figures I have to say no..
The sculpting is good but the paint jobs are too cartoony and bright (mainly Street Fighter fault) and another trivial thing which puts me off the most is the articulation joints - the look terrible.
If you really want a company to make Mortal Kombat Figures check out NECA, They have done an amazing job with the Hellraiser figures and I emailed them shortly after the release of Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance and they said that it would be an intresting idea and a few of the guys at NECA are keen, avid Mortal Kombat Fans.
Also if NECA werwe to do them they would probably use the Formula for which applied to the Hellraiser series:
Series one : Six figures, a variant of one figure (a characters alt outfit) and an 18" figure - collect all six figures to create an additional item (could be the Dragon Emblem)
Series two: Repeat of series one formula,
Series three "
Series four "
ALSO WE SHOULD START EMAILING AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE TO NECA (mainly) and SOTA to demand these figures, or create a petition
IF THE MK SERIES WERE EVER TO BE GREENLIGHTED THEY SHOULD DO ALL CHARACTERS FROM MK: DEADLY ALLIANCE AND MK:DECEPTION
Each character would come with - their weapon, a base and an alt head or hand or any other additional items,
Reply or PM me with your thoughts suggestions!

ill have to check out some of NECA stuff, cause I am not that familiar with them at the moment. I agree the SF colours are a bit bright but it's not like they will keep the same formula for MK. The guy said they are fans of it, so they should know its a dark, brutal game. They also use user feedback to change the figures they make (Ryu used to have a stupid thisthingisdisabled, and purple lips but the fans on some SF website were saying that they didnt like it, so SOTA changed the sculpt). I think SOTA could do really well but so could NECA. Ill look into them, and email them too. Thanks guys,

Yea, but seriously NECA should do them, I really don't like SOTA's technique, but if it ended up with SOTA doing them, I'd still buy them but my favorite is definitely NECA
