Wouldn't it be wild if they actually had EVERY mk character as a playable in Deception via unlockables?
Sure, maybe they all wouldn't have endings, but where everyone supposedly makes an appearance in Konquest mode that means there are models for everyone....
Assign fighting styles to them, add in specials and voila, there you go.
Only problem would be having the time to balance them out with regards to their specials...still it'd be a nice surprise for the fans if it happened, which it probably won't.

I have no idea and that's one of the reasons of my growing concern. In a sense Jax was only confirmed on Gamespot (they have been wrong before) and Rayden only here (trust and thank the guys, but they are only human). Could it be that on or both of these characters may not actually be returning?

My guess is that we WON'T see 8 new characters. DA was suppossed to be roughly half new, and that didn't happen. My guess is that this game will be the same.

Smoke has been confirmed. In the newest issue of Game informer there is an interview with the creators of the game. And in that article, smoke is listed as one of the returning classics

i know the dk is gonna be the main boss but who r the sub bosses gonna be. i say they should bring back kintaro.

I have a question, which I know that as already been asked but I want to know if there is any new opinions...
We were told that only 6 MKDA fighters were to return, so far we have five that have been actually seen in action:
1. Kenshi
2. Li Mei
3. Bo Rai Cho
4. Scorpion
5. Sub-Zero
TWO have been confirm through different sources, but remain unsceen:
1. Jax by Gamespot
2. Raiden by brochure at E3 read by our own MKO guys.
Bringing the total to 7 return MKDA fighters. Did Midway change their minds and decided to change the lineup or is only one of these last two characters (or perhaps a third unmentioned so far) will be the sixth fighter? I know Gamespot has been wrong before. I also know that the guys are human and were in a busy area, they could have miss-read the brochure. Has anyone seen either of these characters (Jax or Raiden) confirmed anywhere else?
Note: I have dial-up so if either shows up in one of the videos/trailers, most likely I have not seen it. Please tell us poor dial-up users (many of which have no choice in the matter) who is confirmed if either.

If they cna put 50 pro-wrestlers in ONE game with a CAW i think they can pull this off.

I won alot of matches aginast my cousin and SMoke popped up between our fighters and said " I am called SMoke"

To sum it up in a nutshell, you've all been deceived. The truth is, there will be far more than 24 total playable characters in Mortal Kombat: Deception. Even Ed Boon himself stated that there'll be more than 24.
So let me say this to all of you. Stop thinking in terms of the whole 10 classic, 6 returning from MK: DA and 8 new because there'll be more than 10 classic characters returning. As for the 6 returning from MK: DA, don't count people like Sub-Zero and Scorpion who were in previous MK games. So far, we know of Li Mei, Kenshi, and Bo' Rai Cho returning. As for new characters, well...I'm not so sure though I'm sure there'll be more than 8 new characters.

Hey thanks for all the info Murdoink, I like that you got the fighting styles and weapons in that list too. I've seen Fujin, Drahmin, and Jarek in one stage level where they are behind bars. Will any of them be playable? Or are they just making kameos like all MK characters are? And I am also happy Smoke is back!

Hey i just joined and I was looking at stuff on E3 or maybe it was www.techtv.com/xplay and Raidens back for sure cuz it says that he'll have his old move his torpedo.
