Yes I agree with you completely. They could either include all the classics on a different cd with MK6, or they could just release it by itself. Either way it doesn't matter much to me as long as I have them. MK1 through MK Trilogy...man that would be kick ass. So hell yeah put me down on this petition.

but i don't like the idea of ONLY fixing up MK Trilogy. i think that if we have a Kompilation, it should have all the MK games pre-MK:DA, all top quality arcade ports (obviously, there are going to be some of the entries that weren't release on arcade, MK Trilogy, for example. So, for these instances, they should find the best port of each and put it on the collection).

it would be nice if the MK team put THE GRID on the MK Kompilation, just as a hidden game, for us.

Ok, to clear up some confusion...a while ago, probably about 2 months ago, I came across a game page. It had an article about the MK Kompilation, which got put on hold, but it is due out soon. Also had a few facts about MK6. Well, instead of making a thread, I submitted the link as well as the news to the 'Submit News' feature...they never used it...and I never posted it, tho I did have it in my sig for a while, if anyone remembers clicking on it??

I'm going to look for the link today/tomorrow when I have time, and I'll post it here. Stay tuned..

Our E3 sources have uncovered rumors about a new Mortal Kombat in the works.
While our GamerFeed crew works long hours to bring you the latest news from E3, our Rumormill has also been benefiting. Through our network of spies, GamerFeed has uncovered reports of a Mortal Kombat Kompilation game in the works at Midway.
It would seem as though the game has been in development for at least a few months, as the tentative release date is late 2003. However, the game could fall to an early 2004 release.(Please note, in my original link it said something similar, only explaining that it DID get pushed back) Our spies don't yet know if the game will hit all three consoles, but we do know it will not feature online play.
Ed Boon has been seen browsing around the Midway booth, but our spies have been unable to reach him for comment on the new Kombat.
Stay tuned as we try to hunt down the elusive creator of Mortal Kombat for more info on this rumored title.

I wan't perfect arcade ports of MK1, MKII, MK3, UMK3, and MKIV. I don't really care about MKTrilogy, MKGold, and the mythologies games, but if they're included then that would be great as well.

It would be sweet if they had The Grid in it too!

here is how i would like the games to go,

you would have mortal kombat 1,2,3,4 as the basic games.

you would have to unlock UMK3, MKGOlD, MK Mythologies, and MK Trilogy.

It would be breaken down into these kind of modes.

Games, Manuals, Extras, Options

Manuals would have all the booklets that came with the classic mortal kombat games to read.

Games I have stated before in this post.

Extras would have, Koncepts, Characte Biographys (which will include every singe character in mortal kombat) Comic Books for you to read. Codes, like Fatality guides that you could read, concepts of characters, videos of behind the scenes of each set of mortal kombat, how they created mortal kombat, the history of mortal kombat, endings section which will show you every characters ending once you unlock them in the games.

And when you play in a game you could press a button so that you could be able to leave and go back to the "Mortal Kombat Kollection main screen.
