This is why you do not run a "vote off" tournament without the supervision of a moderator. The results of this contest have been rigged, thus whatever result you receive in the end will not be truthful.

Figured...no wonder many of the good characters got booted. I almost forgot about this after what happened in Boot and Immune.

Well... on this page, divinity and BTW-4 are clones. I have banned one of these names, but the results have likely been ruined many pages ago. It's a bit difficult to detect clones in the new version of the site (without doing a lot more extra work). This is why the Boot and Immune game will continue to use registration with me before being allowed to participate when it makes its return.

i just checked. the btw-4 name voted just 3 other times..
so hopefully those r the only clones.. since the name hsas been used rarely... i dont se how it actually affected the game much..

Well, it's very likely that different names were involved, but the ISP is AOL, which renders it impossible to know if they are clones or not. I simply used my memory in this case, as I know BTW-4 was a name I banned during Version 6 of the site. All bans were removed when V7 debuted, of course, so that ban was also lifted.
This person has at least 25 names registered... so I would not be so sure this was isolated. An individual with that many accounts isn't afraid to create more if they are aware they are able to and not be punished. Sadly, this is much unlike the Boot and Immune issue. The ISP is AOL, and I cannot simply ban all of AOL from the forums.
I assure you all the Boot and Immune game will be enjoyable... and it will have zero cheaters from beginning to end this time.
