I just joined. let me just tell you, I've loved mortal kombat since I was 7 or 8, my friend and I used to play the movie over and over, memorizing all the lines "Those were 500 dollar sunglasses, you asshole", and playing the video games "in person"
..by the way, im 16 now.
Anyway, I've just obtained a copy of my new bible, the premium MKD, and I was curious to know if you could actually join the mortal kombat tournament after you complete the konquest mode. I feel like kickin' some old school ass.
you can IM me or message me or post,
I await your guys' response

No man you can't join the MK tournament (which SUX big time). If you talked to Shen and Wen they should've told you that they chose Liu Kang to participate in the tournament because Shujinko's soul was corrupted and he needed for it to be cleansed thus doing the training with Nightwolf for 15 years I think. Hope this helps.

if my memory is correct then Shujinko is told he can compete then he's called by damashi to continue he quest. right after that he's incarserated.

Damashi ruined Shujinko's chance to represent Earthrealm in Mortal Kombat. I wished I would participate in the tournament and fight in a ladder type set up to reach Shang Tsung and defeat him. However, I had to go and find the rest of the Kamidogu.

Shujinko wasn't in the Tournament, so it wouldn't make sense for him to be able to do it in konquest mode. Even though I'm sure there were more people then the 7 kombatants, Chances are if Shujinko where in it, he would have played a big role.
