No it says he is working on a New Mortal Kombat game.

Its not confirmed on whether or not it is MK Vs DCU2.

Like I said in previous threads: I wouldn't mind a 100% DCU fighting game or MK Vs DCU 2 but there needs to be a 100% MK game first. A lot of angry "passionate" people out there.

They said that they work already in the next MK game... but isn't related specifically with the sales of MK vs DCU. For now, all mentions about the next MK is that MK9 will be that was initially planned for MK8, a pure MK game.

We need a continuation to MK Armageddon! Or a new MK shaolin monks! =D

I'll take a throwback to what MK used to be, as opposed to how it wandered into the "Armageddon" style.

Seriously, I've said this before, but doesn't anyone else think that MK has delved into a more gory "Masters of the Universe" style?

I see pretty much all of the characters from MKA fitting into the He-Man mythos in some way.

Yeah I got wind of that today too. It is going to be another straight up MK game. They said there was going to be lots of blood and that it would be loosely be based on the kombat engine of MkvsDC.

It would be cool if they remade MKII using the same engine and turn it 3D.

Well, god knows that we're not going to have two straight crossover games, especially not in MK.

I would really like to see a change in the entire story. No more "MK Champions." No more of the same fricken story over and over again, I want a completely new MK story that has nothing to do with the past games. I know it might be hard if they're going to bring back the classics, but yet again, it could be easy.

I just want something new, very new.

Lol I know what you mean the voice acting in the cinematics was pretty bad. Shang Tsung's voice completly did not fit him. Better voice acting and better voice actor casting would make the next game more enthralling. The grunts and moans during fighting are pretty cool though.

No you goofball, lol. I meant during the story mode. MKvsDC's story mode's voice acting was horendous! And no more "FIGHT" in the beginning of every fight! Lol, that was horrible! So cheezy. I don't mind the grunts and groans. Well, except Kitana and Shang Tsung. Everytime they would throw something they would scream something that sounded like a retarded power ranger about to have an orgasm. Hahah lets just hope they have better story acting this time around.

I already know the future. Scorpion, Raiden, and Sub-Zero are in it with some of the same specials from an entire decade ago. Nuthin' wrong with that I guess, but the way they quoted Boon it sounds like its all MK this time around. A new version of Mortal Kombat is expected, but with sales, MK vs. Dc 2 is just as likely to happen.

I actually at this point want a MKvsDCU2 instead of just a plain
MK game.The lack of gore didn't effect me as much as I thought it would have.
Sure it would have been nice but in all honesty,it was a pretty fun and exciting game and the lack of gore didn't hurt the game at all.The tone down fatalities was a little strange but all in all,cool game.

I for one want to see a normal MK game again. Another MKDCU.... meh, maybe later. I'd like to see another Shaolin Monks style game and maybe a Motor Kombat game made independent from another game.Expand the concept of it, add some more characters,tracks, power-ups, all that stuff.....

me too. it's one of the reasons i love deception so much. but i'll take whatever they give, tho i'm hoping for a true sequel to armageddon, or at least a series reboot like they said awhile ago. i trust the mk team.

Honestly, i want either plain MK or MK vs. soul calibur or MK vs. Tekken, DCU just isn't for fighting game. really, this time many weird crossover happened( soul calibur fight with star wars, mortal kombat vs dc universe and the mess up mario bro brawl which contain characters from at least 10 games)
