Well guys i've seen some really big hype around the new pics and i have some thoughts that i've want to share with you.

The Jade Vs. Kabal Pic: This pic have more spoilers than you think, if you are aware of the prision stage that showed us many characters being imrpisioned in the background, well it looks like this pic is in the same stage but it takes place inside an opened cell, what is more intriguing is that jade (i hope she is) is fighting kabal, which means that here is a way of opening the cells and freeing the characters in them. It's just a theory and i dont want to be bashed, but i think this opens the possibility to have fujin, drahmin and.....yes jarek back as well. it looks like ther could be ways to unlock this characters. If you also look closely to the picture you can see that jade's head looks exactly the same as sonya's head in MK:DA, i don't wanna say they're the same person but why use the same model? it sux!. And finally it looks like kabal has been working out as well grin

Ben Vs. Li Mei: The point here is that many ppl think that just because she is holding two kitana-like gfans, she may be kitana, she is li mei, jsut look at the pic, at her face and the costume, pls stop the stupid theories about them being the same person, i think the fans are either stage weapons or that li mei stole them from kitana (SPOILER:.................as some theories say she's been imrpsioned) so do STOP posting crap about kitana is li mei, or kitana is fat, gimme a break!. Ben looks weird holding those kali sticks but well we're not sure about his story so far so i hope he'll be kool.

As for the other pics, confussion stroke me, when i saw smoke with the trasnparent skin outfit and the black one, so that leaves n00b Saibot with the black outfit with white skin and the other outfit where hee looks like a rotting skull, I dont really know what is happening with this outfits, as we havent's seen a pic of skab yet, as long as im concerned this are the outfits for n00b and smoke:

Noob Saibot: Black ninja outfit with white flesh, the other one may be the skull with rotten flesh or maybe that's skab .

Smoke: The totally black outfit and the one similar ot it but with trasnparent skin.

Well i wann listen to your comments here. SuCh Is LiFe........

A lot of interesting points. But that rotting warrior wasn't an alt for Noob, it was Skab. Although a lot of people won't reognize him as a character.

Yea, i agree with wat u said.....but wat did u think about Kira?

I think Kira looks really cool with those weapons and i cant wait to ee her in action. IS she a red head? That wud be soo cool!

I really like your theory about the cages...because that sounds cool, I want Fujin back...(though the thought of JareK: Very UNcool) And I also noticed that the model they used for Jade looked like a color changed Sonya....Which actually give me hope that Sonya may be unlockable..after all if they are using her model...then why not put her in as well? grin

i think kira is a very cool and that she will have a lot ot do with the story, she looks badass with those weapons and look, (we needed a ginger!), as for Jarek, i didnlt like him personally but i think naby ppl did so as long as we have more characters with a good plot i dont mind. As for the Skab confussion you're probably right temp, well need time to confirm this.

Jade vs. Kabal- Glad to see Jade back, assuming that it Jade and not Tanya. And it probably does mean the characters in the prison can be unlocked. Kind of indifferent about that, because besides Jade I don't really care about the other guys. Also glad to finally get a pic of Kabal. Can't really see him that well, but he looks cool.

Li Mei vs. Ben- Natrually people will jump to conclusion that it's Kitana becase of the fans. While I want Kitana in the game, I am glad that THAT is not her. That is not a good look for Kitana IMO. If Li Mei does fight with fans, then sucks for her because first everyone said she was a rip off of Mileena because of the sais and now she seems to have fans....
Ben has yet to impress me.

Kira vs. Noob- Most recent pic of Noob and I think he looks bad ass. Kira looks good too, although she appears to have the sames moves as Kano. I won't jump to any conclusions about her but if she does fight exactly like Kano I doubt it will win her many fans.
Well, if nothing else, she's hotter than Kano.

Baraka vs. Smoke- Our first pic of Smoke and I don't really have any reaction. I think he looks alright but nothings thrilling me about it yet.

There was a character in the select screen whom everyone thought was either a Shokan or Reptile. Turns out he is Smoke.

I think dude we whould wait, i can't recall the Character select screen rught now, but i just hope smoke gets revamped, i dindt like his outfit so far, and it makes me confuse between him and noob saibot, anyways, i think th head of a shokan is really different from that of a human. Cheers

How are you sure that that's Li Mei with the fans? She was one of the starting 12 @ E3 and she had the melon for a weapon, and her costumes were different from that. Plus, what about the "confirmed" Shokan? It seems as if he is out of the picture.

these are very good points on the jail and stuff that would rock. it would make most sense if li mei did steal her fans but i hope to the bottom of my heart that thye give her some kind of saber (or sabre) for her to use instead of fans cuz that is just cheap. but then it could be used in the storyline of deception where she somehow helped mileena kill or imprison kitana and gave her back her sais and took kitanas fans. there are lots of stories and maybe midway let us see those pics just to tease with out minds. who knows right now except them but i think the suspense is aweful...i hope it lasts! grin
now for the whole ben has kali sticks thing...to me,and this is just my opinion, those dont look much like two sticks but some weird form of a long tonfa bamboo stick or something. i mean i dont see his other arm coming out at all and i dont see the rest of the stick either for the supposed second one so zoom in and look at that if your curious. smile

Good theories bro.

I believe it is Jade simply because she was supposed to be a playable hidden character in this game. And it would be great if it is her! I'll be annoyed if it is Tanya and not Jade but also happy because Tanya is in a nice shade of green although she shouldn't have it! And since that is Sonyas model, they better put Sonya in! Then they just need to add Nitara and Kitana and all my females wil be in this game! grin

Having Fujin back would be great too!

Kira looks awesome and it would make sense for Jarek to be back especially since Kano is absent as of now.

If that is Smoke he looks great! considering the transparency, it has to be him. Although he is more mist like rather than smoke.

If that is Li Mei in that pic with the fans I'll go back to hating her! those fans had better be stage weapons or that had better be Kitana!

Finally, a pic of Kabal. I was beginning to have doubts. The first black outfitted ninja is definitely Noob. The other black outfitted one with the odd shaped mask could be Smoke. But they both look too similar to me. What do you guys and gals think about that theory?

How about these pics are early shots...which would explain why Li Mei and Kobra have MK:DA weapons, and why the colours could have easily been changed...Li Mei is wearing the same outfit in later shots but it is dark blue, maybe because they felt it was too close to Mileena? And then that could also be Tanya if they change the colour to Yellow at a later stage. I think these images are posted to cause all this confusion, and i think they will be set right very shortly.
Also, why can't Tanya wear green? Li Mei was wearing purple, used Sai's and has dark hair in MK:DA, and there wasn't such outrage.

Well, ok guys about yhe hype generated on the fans, i think that just may be a stage weapon, it would be stupid to think that in the MK reality only one pair of fans could be available, so stop saying those are kitanas. As for the guy that said that the girl in green is tanya, i might as well tell you that i dont hink so for two reasons. 1.- That is jade's skin color, tanya's is a little bit more darker, and we have sen a glimpse of her outfit in the puzzle kombat, the other one i that she is fighting jkabal inside a cell, and that's a part of the stage we havents een before, what we conclude is that you can open the cells and free the prisioners. On the concept sketch we saw her hair was blocking half of her face... suggesting there ould be somthing there (a mask, a metal plate, a scar...)
And on the screen shots, the right part of her face is not showing... leaving us in th myhstery! MK Team choose there picture wisely... they are learning!

Ok sorry to sound like I'm attacking you but I'm a bit pissed off today. WHERE THE FUCK WERE YOU WHEN DECEPTION RELEASED ITS FIRST SCREENSHOTS!!!??? In the PSM exclusive they showed Noob in the all black outfit with either no skin showing or black skin from day one. That being said we've already seen 2 costumes for Noob and the black ninja in the new screenshots is STILL NOOB. We've only seen the one costume of smoke with him being transparent. (takes a deep breath) ok I'll calm down now.
As for the other pics I like the fact that Kabal seems not to have gone through too much change I always liked the way he looked. I hope the lady in green is Jade and not Tanya otherwise I will be pissed. As for Kira, she looks pretty interesting. Also for the woman wielding the steel fans I am going to stay steadfast with the belief that it is Kitana but I'm not going to engage in another argument over it right now.

Well dude it's not my prob if you're pissed, i wasn't attacking you so dont ruin my thread pls, do mature!. Anyways, my confussion is that why are Smoke and Noob Saibot so similar, there's no point at making them so alike. As for the last statement, where in jesus sake you see that Li Mei looks like Kitana, just beause she is weilding fans that doesnt means she is Kitana, or Mavado was Kabal just because he was weilding HookSwords? No so then just chill out with the Kitana theories

Well if Fujin and Jarek are going to be playable, since Jade was in the prison with them hopfully they'll change they're costumes because they look exactly the same from MK4.

So the consensus is that she is Jade? It probably isnt Tanya because why would they give her a green costume when hers is normally yellow. Jade also has dark skin and you can actually see Jade gems on her boots in that pic.

my theory that supports she isnt Tanya as i said is the color of her skin and that about being fighting inside and enpty cell which i think was that of jade's, and if they're iincluding characters such as Fujin and Jarek i think they'll have their classic look and they will have a different alternate as well like in the case of Kabal. I agree with what you all are saying about how Kira is just a female Kano. In the Slaughterhouse it looks as though she's performing the b+4 Xing Yi kick, and on the Crumbling Tower it looks like she's using her "daggers" the same way Kano (and Hsu Hao) used their weapons. I'm kinda disappointed. I mean, I like Xing Yi and the Butterfly knives, but I was hoping for something new.

I also agree that the pic with Li Mei/Kitana holding the Fans and Ben with the Kali Sticks is just a test shot like the rest of these. We can't necessarily believe anything we see, folks.

As for the character fighting Baraka, I personally believe that is Smoke. I mean, why would it be Noob? Haven't we already seen his two costumes already? Just my thoughts.
