My view on the mk characters.

Listed Below is just about every single character from the MK Universe. I put in some thought, and decided to list the percentage that i think they will make it into MK VS DC.

Ashrah - 15% (If there's gonna be anyone with a big hat, it will be Raiden or Kung Lao)
Baraka - 40% (He would make a fine edition to a bunch of human charcters)
Blaze - 10% (Armageddon got rid of him, not worth ever appearing in a MK game again)
Bo' Rai Cho - 45% (A fat ass drunk is pretty memorable)
Chameleon - 8% (Was only brought back for the fans)
Cyrax - 50% (Maybe we will see one robot, and if any, it will be Cyrax)
Daegon - 8% (He isn't an important enough or memorable villian, they will choose Shao Kahn, Shang Tsung, Quan Chi, and Kano way before him)
Dairou - 9% (who the fuck cares about him?)
Darrius- 7% (Nothing Special about him)
Drahmin - 23% (Only if he gets his original MKDA style back, would he get a chance of making it)
Ermac - 46% (Fan favorite, but i think that they will stick with just the 2 ninjas already)
Frost - 4% (Already have a sub zero)
Fujin - 38% (If any god makes it, raiden will)
Goro - 70% (He would be the first choice for a MK sub boss)
Havik - 15 % (Iconic personality, but he came in the series too late to be memorable)
Hotaru - 6% (Just a knight)
Hsu Hao - 20% (Kano, way before him)
Jade - 43% (shes iconic for MK fans, but not iconic enough)
Jarek - 6% (See Hsu Hao)
Jax - 78% (One Of the most iconic characters)
Johnny Cage - 89% (The most iconic character, imo)
Kabal - 56% (The mask dude, and hookswords)
Kai - 11% (gay)
Kano - 80% (The psycho killer guy with one eye? iconic)
Kenshi - 75% (One of the few newer characters i find iconic)
Khameleon - 8% (See Chameleon)
Kintaro - 34% (Goro will be the shokan)
Kira - 6% (Kano and Sonya way better)
Kitana - 86% (One main and important character in the series)
Kobra - 12% (Ken ripoff, not iconic)
Kung Lao - 58% (Amazingly, i dont think hell make it if liu kang makes it)
Li Mei - 48% (Sexiest character, imo)
Liu Kang - 98% (MK's Hero)
Mavado - 10% (No need for him, if they want anything they will choose kabal)
Meat - 2% (Are you kidding?)
Mileena - 65% (might not make it if there are more iconic characters already chosen)
Mokap - 2% (see meat)
Moloch - 10% (won't need him, if they choose goro)
Motaro - (See moloch)
Nightwolf - 69% - (Similar to Mileena, if there arent enough slots, he wont make it)
Nitara - 11% (iconic, but ass)
Noob Saibot - 40% (Just another sub zero)
Onaga - 50% (Might be the boss, but unlikely)
Quan Chi - 70% (one of the best 3d characters, very evil)
Raiden - 86% (The mentor good guy)
Rain - 60% (Ed Boon might have something up his sleeve)
Reiko - 12% (just a shao kahn wannabe)
Reptile - 79% (the only ninja besides scorpion and sub zero that might make it)
Sareena - 5% (wtf, whos she?)
Scorpion - 100% (already confirmed)
Sektor - 30% (Cyrax will get the robot slot, if they want a robot)
Shang Tsung - 93% (MK's Villian)
Shao Kahn - 89% (MK's Big Bruiser)
Sheeva - 10% (See kintaro)
Shinnok - 39 % (not cool enough)
Shujinko - 40% (If he was iconic enough, he would have been a bigger deal)
Sindel - 45% (see nightwolf and mileena)
Smoke - (see sektor)
Sonya - 95% (Female with best chance of making it)
Stryker - 10% (gay character)
Sub-Zero -100% (already confirmed)
Tanya - 6% (see shinnok)
Taven - 30% (see shujinko)

and thats all folks.

You know, I'd actually want to see Quan Chi. IMO he's probably one of the best Villains that MK has to offer. And very popular amongst fans. The thing of it is though, Shang has the more inconic status. And I'll doubt they'll do both of them. One or the other...but no both. And all indications (based on what's been said about picking characters) point to Shang Tsung as having the better chance. Which is really a shame too 'cause (and I'm not knockin' Shang here by any means) I think Quan Chi is a far better character. However that is just MY opinion and I'm sure there are quite a few that would disagree. Which is completely cool.

There are plenty of characters ahead of him, but anyone even remotely aware of Mortal Kombat, especially through the movie, is going to know, remember, and maybe even like, Johnny Cage.

Sun glasses, actor, martial artist... Cage is iconic.
Not iconic enough to trump instantly recognisable icons like Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Goro, Liu Kang, Kitana, Kano, Sonya... But still iconic!

Do you ever get a feeling that Ed Boon will not respond back because you're probably another one of those "Hate Mail" senders? Probably getting too much hate mail that hasn't killed him yet, he may ignore all fan mail period. But good luck if you're still trying.

But seriously, I really don't care who makes it in the game or not, as long as they're not characters like "Hsu Hao" or "Dariou" or "Bo Rai' Cho."

I think your right about cage, he is pretty cool but he is not tough enough and i think he is kind of boring, but the rest of the list is what i would say also, except the sonya being the female with a better chance on being in the game, i think Kitana has a way better chance.

Johnny Cage is just my favorite character, so i had to exaggerate.

First off, why do you keep making things to Boon if you're joking about it? You're the only one on this site who does it and probably gets laughed at by the other users... such as myself to say, I will not let that be kept hidden from you, I am laughing at the fact that you keep mention the guy's name in every rant you throw out on these threads at times.

You're hate mail I was referring to was an example, I never said you wrote any, it was clearly showing you an example of what some people might be doing here in Chicago seeing how the main corporation building is somewhat near my home. But I could say the rant thread you made that got closed so fast could be your hate mail.

Secondly, If I was his secret lover, he'd be in jail for daiting a minor, I'm 17, Einstien. Yeah, you know, you didn't get a point across towards me, even if you were trying not saying that you were, but if you did. I'd just laughed.

*Ahem* Getting back to something actually on topic here, rather than wasting my time on this site...

I will say that Johnny does not stand out, that much... judging by the many characters that he's been around. I would say that Goro would stand out the most, yes, the one that would probably stand out even to a person who has never even heard of the game.

I just don't like him. Even though I know that he's been around longer than the majority, the problem is, that the creators butchered his entire story so many times that he just doesn't feel like MK material towards me anymore. Also the fact that his ending in every game he's been in has been the, same, thing, over, and, over, again!

what honestly, makes u think cyrax is more likely than smoke or sektor to get the cyborg slot if there was one?

i cant think of anything that makes cyrax stand out other than the green net rly...

if there were a cyborg slot, i would put my money on smoke, as much as i would want sektor, im pretty sure smoke would take it.

Smoke? I would bet my money on Sektor. Yeah Smoke is popular out of the three, but he's also the only one to actually be human. Maybe there is a chance for him to go human, although I would like it if they made up their minds to either keep him as a cyborg or as a human.

Though I laugh, every time I wrote Cyborg in on Microsoft Word, they don't think it's a word. (I fixed that problem though)

But anways, I think Sektor should be the only Cyborg around. He's just been the only Cyborg that nothing has happened to where he changes to human. The only one.

Well, Cyrax was the one with the most characterization.

I love smoke, hes my favroite robot, but Cyrax is the more of the character

well, of course goro does because he's big and 4 armed. I think cage sticks out the least, actually.
