Kong is around as Remie. I'm yet to play with on MKA.

I did however play MK-DA last night. Dude is quite inspiring. He is so controlled. He never gets confused. It's a shame he is in the same clan as Tgrant. I don't who to choose between them. Tgrant is just a super efficient pre-encoded machine/demon while MK-DA is just a raw warrior and adapts to anything thrown at him. He also controls matches from the base line and then launches an offense. Tgrant on the other hand just launches directly into you so by the time you figure out a way to get around it, you've already lost the match.

There is one more player I've played that's on this level, Galatic. He reminds me of Tgrant. These 3 guys are unique, but why?

It was much the same in MKD. I think it has to do with superior insight in the game's mechanics, quick reflexes and an unfailing coordination. I'm a very clumsy person, and I know that I could never belong to that top 3 because of that.

I know that MKA is pretty much based on MKA but I think those 3 are made for beat 'em up games. Reason being, I've played MK-DA on DOA4 and he is just as effective as he is in MKA. But you're right in analysis of "game's mechanics, quick reflexes and an unfailing coordination". Those 3 characteristics could never fail anyone but it is attaining them that's the difficult part.

Trax - I've competed in several racing games (GT3, TOCA3 and GTR) succesfully. It certainly helped me to get the right "feeling" for fighting games. This sounds weird but before I played racing games I sucked at fighters (T3 x_x). I assume the reason is that you have to drive very precise without any mistakes on the limit. Same thing in fighters.

You're right Gala. I used to play racing games myself (Project Gotham 1,2 and 3). In racing games, you need anticipation and error free driving and if you apply the same logic to fighting games, you're bound to be a top player. I have better understanding of what makes a good player now than ever before. Another key factor is adaptation and that's a key element in racing games.

Why is it sad? It's a matter of choice. I like MKO and the people but I can understand some people like their freedom of flaming. Freedom of choice is always good regardless of what the rules are. I have an account at MKACentral but I'm still down with MKO because I prefer the community here.

I also used to play racing games a lot, but I don't feel it helped me improve my skills in fighting games because it's a totally different world (in racing games you usually don't need button combinations...).

I don't know if I'll get MKA. I need two things: time and money, both of which fail me at the moment.
