Assuming he's some kind ethereal thing with just smoke (eg: Blaze), he probably leaks some kind of gas or charcoal.

Good question. I am guessing if he is an elemental of smoke that when a punch hits him some of the smoke could like be blown away by the punch.

I would prefer to have Smoke not bleed at all. Instead of leaking out liquids, Smoke's artificial skin begins to tear and will reveal wire. Smoke's body armor will become dented and the wires will begin to tear which will send sparks to fly out of his body.

That wouldn't make sense. We already know Smoke is NOT an elemental; he's a Lin Kuei "ninja" like Sub Zero.

Awesome ideas, peeps. I especially like Tgrant's idea of him slowly becoming less dense and more transparent with every hit(if he is a smoke elemental). Kinda reminds of FF7 when cloud became too weak, it began to show in the Ultimate weapon, as it went from white to transparent purple and blue.

It would be nice he bled Smoke and ash as well. It would be a nice unique aspect to the character. Keep the ideas coming, guys.

They're not saying he was originally an elemental, but that he's become since the events of MK3.

A) I never said Smoke was a mist elemental. But it's possible. He could have mastered his ability to the point where he can shift into Smoke. That doesn't sound far-fetched to me.

B) Smoke's main form isn't a cyborg. It's possible that his alts may encompass previous forms, but I was not informed of such. You don't have to believe me, but you better have some contrary evidence before saying I'm a liar.

You dont know what you are talking about. Smoke is NOT gonna be cyborg, at least not as his main costume. His MAIN costume is NOT gonna be cyborg or human it is gonna be something completely different wich is the elemental smoke. You have no proof to back up smoke being half human/cyborg. Temp,Konqrr,Ermacmk5 and myself r the only people on this entire site who know the truth and the truth is he is an elemental of smoke.

Assuming he will be a spectral smoky figure...heck, maybe puffs of smoke. No clue, although I like the transparency idea.

Elemental, no, I don't think so. However, I do think it's likely that he'll be a spirit in his main outfit, in which case, I agree with most of the above posts. He'll probably disperse each time he's hit, becoming more transparant as his essence is knocked away as puffs of smoke or something. And, from what I've heard his alt modes are both Human and Cyborg, so this might be an extention to Cyborg/Human Smoke's ending in MKT. (Cyborg Smoke learned his soul was not stripped away when he was roboticized, and Human Smoke was a wandering construct of Cyborg Smoke's human form, albeit without his soul.) Most likely, something happened between Trilogy and Deception to strip Cyborg Smoke's soul away from his robot body, leaving 3 versions of the ninja: Spirit, soulless Cyborg, and zombie-mirage Human.

Assuming he's going to be made of smoke, It'll be very interesting to see how characters are going to perform fatalities on him.

No guys i know exactly how they will do it. Their will be a cyborg form that is covered with smoke. When you punch him it reveals his armor. The smoke just drifts away and more smoke generates the uncovered area of his body. You can see his cyborg exoskeleton through the smoke. The alternate will probably be half human half cyborg made up of smoke.
