I really would prefer the game to have no "Alliances" and it could just become a tournament again. The story could go like, Earthrealm secures itself from the Outworld, and lived in peace for many years, but Mortal Kombat still went on.

Not that my ideas are good, but I think MK1 was the best story wise because it made sense that the people actually got in a small area and battled it out. It makes no sense that the cowardly evil guys (evil guys are always cowards, its how it is) fought and couldnt be cheap with sneak attacks that are all throughout the story.

Just my two cents.

I think they should not have a deadly alliance...but a Deadly Revenge.....sorta like ppl who got screwed over (Scorpion, Sonya, Liu Kang, etc) come back and go after those who have killed them....and then we find out that the one who is leading them is none other than a revamped Shinnok....
