That's true!

God they could of thought of something more creative then that damn his other fatality already involed his hatchet. This by far is the most boring fatality yet and whats up with the pink popcorn i thought there wasnt going to be anymore popcorn.

Just think of Nightwolf's Fatalities from MK3 in 3D...*drools*
I agree with Bezou. I think it's cool that Nightwolf uses his tomahawks for both.

I have to disagree.
The Light Beam? It's not better that a Tomahawk to the head. And It's not better than cutting off someones head and catching it on the way down.
The Lightning Bolt? Simple and good but I like his two in Deception better than the ones in MK 3.
Not saying these two are the best we've seen but they are better than his old ones.
It's not so much what the fatality was, although it could have been made a little more interesting (like for example: Ashra screaming in terror and begging for her life as Nightwolf- her executioner- menacingly walks toward her)...
It's how poorly it was implemented. The clipping issues and just all around awkwardness soured the whole experience.
If it's going to be a very simple fatality, then it has to be tight as a drum, or else it won't fly well. But then again, that's just my unvarnished opinion.
But as others have said, the body did fall well.

Did any one else notice all those little whitish blotches on the floor that looked like white blood splatters? What the hell is that, crushed beetles? If so, they're splattered bodies shouldn't look like puddles of cum.
Like Baraka's fatality last week, this appears to be from an older build of the game. It still has the old "wins" font instead of the one seen in the Gamer's Day vids and the win count is still inside the life bar. The fatality is actually pretty good the way it is. Yeah, I'd have rather it had something to do with lighting or maybe even the bow and arrow but it's not a bad fatality. The only thing they could do IMO is speed it up a bit at the end.
Raptor17: Yeah, they're crushed beetles.

That was a hell of a Fatality. One of my favorites so far. What I liked best was that it actually made me cringe. Only a few Deception Fatalities so far (This one, Baraka's, Jade's Hara-Kiri, Hotaru's) have made me cringe, and that's why I like them so much.

Poor Ashrah. She looks good though, she still needs to be classy, and thats good enough. Not like Mileena's.The fatality itself is decent.Just a normal decapitation, then holding the head for ten seconds.Nothing special.

This was an amazing fatality.
Nice and simple. Coldblooded. Very Visually appealing, and had lots of style. Nice and serious. No Joke effects.
MK3 fatalties, all of them in general, were not hands on enough. More example, smoke puts a bomb in the mouth, kabals ghost, nightwolfs beam. These fatalities are getting back to the MK2 and MK1 hands on feeling. Where if you wanted somebody dead you had to do it yourself, with your own hands. Not a machine or a beam of light, or your ugly face.
Great Job Boon and Co.
Keep em coming like this.

I forgot to mention. He holds up the Tommahawk to the gods before hand, like a glorious warrior. He then offers the head of his slain enemy to his Gods. truly superb style.
I suprised people are not liking this. Back in the MK2 days (which people always complain for) this would have caused 2 million kids to need a change of underwear.
I suppose people are getting desensitized to the violence.
Im still loving it though.
