Could be, the MKD team decided to make the skab model a 3rd alt for noob and scrap that character all together even after separating them as 2 different entities. You never know.

To be honest with you, if you had not quoted me I would have deleted my post, because I really have no idea if I was allowed to divulge this info or not. But the best reason I can give you is that the all the German info so far has been quite dated, and everything Midway told them in the last issue wasn't mean to be reveiled.

But keep in mind, I'm not really confident in this information, because I can't fuckin remember where I heard it. So I could very well be wrong. But I doubt I am, due to the three costumes for each character(we've seen two for both Noob and Skab).

Konqrr, if it was you who told me this, I'm sorry I gave it, man. I have a couple of users giving me information, so it's hard to keep everything organized in my mind.

Oh yeah, and the second costume for Skab was in the puzzle fighter pic.

uh yeah maybe that scan of skab is old and maybe that trailer is old and things have now changed...but the bottom-line is the person named noob in the trailer has the same clothing design as the person named skab in the scan.

about the 3 outfits i heard that in another thread. I think it was tgrant or queve who said there were going to be 3 outfits. Dont remember which one. But if it was none of them than sorry. but im pretty sure it was one of them.

So its conficting Time and Dates of info on the characters?

So we have "Skab" who is the mangled face guy who has the ALT of a black costume with just his face showing in the puzzle fighter pic. Then we have the "Skab" render from the magazines we have seen in the purple and dark colored costume.

Now we have Noob who has the Black and Metal costume but then also has "Skabs" purple and dark costume, not only that but in the video we also see that Noob/Skab has the fighting style of the character Noob Saibot and his name under his life bar.

So in all retrospect, who is the guy in the new German Trailer.. Noob or Skab? Wires are crossed somewhere down the line.

Come on, guys. That is Scab in the pics, just with Noobs name under the life bar, and fighting styles.. they always do that in early builds of the games... They've done that since the beginning.

I remember watching the making of MK3, and the character select screen showed all Raiden...

So don't worry.. that is, infact, Scab you're seeing there.

as of now, all we know is a guy with noob's lifebar was dressed in an outfit that is way too similar to skab's render to be coincidence. leave it at that until midway confirms. the end.

B) I don't post anything which I can't back up logically or support with past pics or information.

C) I don't ask anybody to believe me. Keep in mind, I don't HAVE a source other than what informed users have told me. They have proven to me that they are credible, and I'll believe them if no one else.

OMG, why is this even a discussion? Remember the pic of Ermac with Sub Zero's picture on it. Remember when MKDA was being made we saw lots of characters with different fighting styles than what they ended up with. The character in the trailer is not noob saibot, they probably just didn't have a picture for him just like they didn't have one for Ermac. SHEESH. And maybe they haven't decided what fighting styles to give each character yet.. the game isn't finished afterall.

we have not seen a second costume of skab. someone blew up the puzzle fighter pic and lightened the image in photoshop and it was indeed the same costume we are all familiar with (the reddy maroon scorpion like vest)
