i would say its the perfect time for Sonya and Jax to go...i always liked Sonya, but now shes getting a little over hyped for my liking...

if anyone saw my theory in any other thread, i explained my reasoning

-nearly every character from MK1 is still alive...Cage and Sonya the only 2 who have reason to die, Cage always dies, so scratch him...

-Jax is well hated now, so he can go...

-Ermac and Kenshi need a bigger story...and Cyrax needs a better story, Cyrax worked better as a bad guy, so im thinking have him through deception, killed off Sonya and Jax, leaving Kenshi to go after him, setting up a sotry for those guys...and maybe work Sektor into it

also, kill off half the ninjas, theyve grown annoying, and get rid of the rip offs...

i dont care what anyone says, Li Mei, Frost, and Smoke are cheap ripoffs simply because they took TRADEMARK moves from others...they may not stole every move, but they just as well have...

and for God's sake rid of Bo Rai Cho and any other retarded character they have

someone you wouldn't expect, because in DA i was all watching the intro and drinking a sprite and then WAM crack, "Liu Kang is dead". I nearly choked on my hot dog...But in Deception, i would like to see SONYA die at the hands of the Dragon King...hahaha, shes getting old

Sonya, Jax, and Kano can all piss off for all I care. I'm so tired of their story line. If worse comes to worse, Sonya can stay, but Jax and Kano... I mean why? Jax has been a joke since he got those retarded ass metal arms in MK 3 (and he was downright pitiful in Deadly Alliance, espeically with his alternate look) and Kano's about as played out as you can get.

As for Johnny Cage, he provides the comic relief for the series. You gotta love the Cage man. He's a great character and very interesting, with the whole movie star appeal. He was never meant to be taken all that seriously, and it works. The poor guy already got killed once in MK 3, so let him be.

As for other characters who should die, Li Mei (horrible character, basically just a half-assed Mileena wanna-be), Hsu Hao (I don't think anybody really likes him), Kai (I mean really), and Drahmin (I just think he's stupid).

And dammit, make Cyrax evil again.
[edit] Oh yeah, kill off Kitana already. She hasn't been interesting in terms of story line since Mortal Kombat 2. Even coming back in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 and Mortal Kombat Gold she still didn't have anything new to offer.

Sonya. We have to remember a videogame law here, namely that attractive ladies can't remain attractive forever (Outworld and Edenia women are exceptions). Sonya was 36 in DA. How old will she be in DE?

Now don't get me wrong, I have nothing against people in games of all ages, but I reckon that Midway is not going to want to keep a middle-aged Sonya in their ranks forever.

So I think Sonya is dead.

I also think DE will be the last game for Sub-Zero the 6th.

I'm pretty much indifferent towards Johnny Cage. Keep Jax. Kano always makes me grin because he always keeps coming back. I like him.
