Bosses should not be playable, they make the game unbalanced, just like Armageddon. I liked Armageddon but I don't want MK vs DCU to be unbalanced.
Then heres a super duper tip, don't play as them if you think they make the game unbalanced. Also they can balance them out, they kept the bosses in MKA big and strong because they wanted us to feel the difference between them and regular characters. In MKD Goro and Shao Kahn moved, jumped and did everything like regular normal characters, I was a bit upset when Midway removed that. The unbalance in MKA was intentional.
I loved being able to play as Kintaro in MKA I would have hated Midway if he was unplayable. So yeah I like playable bosses too

When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" "Yes sir, the check is in the mail."
Granted, his facial features may be the "Kahn" in Dark Kahn, but we couldn't help but notice that Darkseid's qualities seemed to overwhelm the look...there just wasn't too much of Kahn to be seen in the character. Still, we all liked his look, but does anyone else notice that? Do you like the way he came out, or do you feel there should have been a little more Kahn in the mix?
And THAT'S what Jack Burton has to say at this time.

MK9?
Really, there's no need to worry he isn't playable. It's only Kahn and Darkseid who are playable.
dont forget dlc was confirmed so he more then likely wil lbe in it THAT! but as for the standard game very doughtful

I just wish he didn't look so much like Black Brimstone from the Spawn comics. He looks totally unoriginal to me.

Jack Burton was discussing Dark Kahn's appearance with the users on MK Blackout, and we all were psyched about his look, but ultimately agreed it seemed more like Darkseid than Shao Kahn...

Who?? (Please respond with, "Jack Burton, ME.")
I'm not really digging Dark Kahn's look. It's too generic, boring. Just looks a like a rock person with a skull for a face. He looks VERY much like MegaBlaze, which is unfortunate. Give him a cape, some shoulder spikes, make them blue like Dark Sied's outfit...Ah well.
If it's the same video we're talking about, I think he looks too much like Blaze from MKA. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing... we'll just have to wait and see with some renders and motion footage.
That's what i thought, he looks exactly like Blaze.

I liek the look as a generic villain. But this is in NO WAY how I mimagined him looking. Neither is really conencted with the final looks, but I want him to be recognized as a fusion. And eh looks nothing like either people. Which is sad. But I find it a good thing he looks like Blaze. I like Blaze

They've already reused most of the create-a-fatality attacks for Klose Kombat. The only new things fooling people are the specials and breakers. A lot of the basic attacks are the same just faster with smoother transitions, and they STILL move in that stiff, crappy way.
This is MKDA version 4.0... With Superheroes.

If a tree falls over in a forest and there is no-one there to hear it, can we be certain that it didn't fall over in a jungle? Check my profile for a clue...

... but either way you'll have to verse him...
Singing mode: confirmed!
I wonder if this thread isn't two different conversations going on simultaneously. There seem to be two groups: the fans who can only observe things from within the game, and the fans making a commentary about asthetics and the composition of the game as a constructed piece of entertainment.
On their own terms, I'm not sure either is right or wrong.

Alright! I always wanted to rock out to "Hit me with your rhythm stick" with Baraka. Or not. When I said you'd have to vs Dark Khan anyway, I meant in arcade / story mode regardless of whether he's playable or not ( because, come on, there's no way Dark Khan isn't gonna be the final boss ), so it doesn't really matter if he's playable or not because you'll still have to fight him anyway.
