Ya know, I would have liked to see him scalp someone as a Fatality. But at the same time, I'm content with them. The Hara-Kiri could have been different though. Seeing him put his hand into the air and getting struck by lightning would have been nice.

Well, I like the scalping idea. My biggest problem though with the Fatalities and the Hara Kiri is that it all involves the Tomahawk. I can understand one Fatality and the Hara Kiri. But not both Fatalities.

Both of his Fatalities are something that could happen in real life too. I thought I remember Ed Boon saying that no one wants to pay for reality in the Making of Mortal Kombat video?

I assure you, Nightwolf will be great in MKD. Fatals are not what makes a character useful. It is his moveset, styles and all the broken shit you can find to do with said character. Fatalities SHOULDN'T reflect on the value of a character, but I'll be honest...

for me personally...paticularly in MK: DA...I loved the way Quan Chi handled as a fighter...but I just wouldn't play as him, because I like to finish off my opponents...and let's face it...I just couldn't bare to watch that neck stretch fatality...so I rarely used him.

However, Nightwolfs fatals are NOWHERE near as bad as Quan Chis fatality from DA...again, let's just wait guys...there's more than one way to finish your opponent off, you don't have to perform fatalities to finish them off, ring outs, and death traps also make for fun as well...so now using someone with a TERRIBLE fatality, like Quan Chi in DA, isn't as constricting, because you can still finish an opponent off in a psychologically satsifying, brutal, gory death...that isn't nearly as cheesey as Quan Chi's neck-stretch.

IMO, Nightwolf has improved a lot since MK3. I like his fatalities, I like his hari-kiri, and I also like his outfits, no doubt he will have an amazing storyline. Nightwolf is better than some characters in MKD. His fatalities are very realstic and really reflect his personality, seeing how he's a Native-American. Besides, they're short and sweet.

One Fatality is supposed to be a "Kung Lao's Hat Throw Fatality" Rip-off... but the other Fatality, of who supposed that it's the Rip-Off?

The Fatalitys (and Hara-Kiri) are only the 25% of one character... the look (normal & alternate) is the second 25%... the fighting styles & the special moves are the third 25%... and the bios & ending are the last 25%...... because Nightwolf only fails in one of the aspects (I like their Fatalitys & Hara-Kiri, but I had liked that not always he used tomahawks) isn't possible to be said that the character has been useless, since this valuation cannot be given until not knowing the 100% of the character.

I also think he should have had some variety in his fatalities and hari kiri. He uses his tomahawk in all of them and that's kind of dull. His second fatality should have been something like...
Nightwolf pulls out his bow and shoots multiple arrows in the air, they then rain down from the sky and stab into the opponent's face, arms, legs, and one in their chest.
Either that or he could have had a remake of his Moonbeam fatality from MK3. I don't think the fatalities will make him a bad character because I'm sure he'll be a great fighter.

Nightwolf's always been bottom of the barrel in my book--just a Cage ripoff. Shadow Rush=Shadow Kick His tomahawk (however it's spelled) uppercut was just the shadow uppercut's equivilent, etc. Not to meantion his lame story. To be honest, I didn't hear many people at all wanting him back until he was announced, and I've been around since the gamers.com days. (Come on guys, we used to make sprites with him and Stryker being in the village people, etc. So you honestly remember many people asking for him, back then?)

But that's just my opinion, and I hope that his fans still enjoy him. I won't, but just because a few of us hate/dislike him doesn't mean everyone will. He'll find a fanbase. We'll just have to see how large or small it is, later.
