I'd like to see Nitara back. She was pretty good in DA, plus vampires are just cool.

the petition is pointless, tons of other characters should be in the game before Nitara:
Sonya, Quan Chi, Reptile, Cage, Fujin, Sektor, Kitana and Shang Tsung are only a few of them

I love Nitara, but I don't think this petition would change the situation... It's amusing to see that the majority of people who say that this thread is pointless are people who don't like Nitara... This is a bit subjective...

Why Sektor or Kabal threads wouldn't be less useless? Personally, I find these characters dumb and less interesting than Nitara... :/

Whilst I didn't really like Nitara. I have just realised she may be responsible for the sudden appearance of the chaos and order realms. I mean her ending in MK:DA. She destroyed the orb. It said that her realm was separated from outworld. I suppose she must have lived in either the chaosrealm or the orderrealm. When she released one the other followed as one couldn't be without the other.
Just an idea!

So, what you people are saying is that we should forget real classics like Sonya, Quan Chi, Shang Tsung, and Kung Lao in favor of an unoriginal new character who had no reason to be in DA at all except give Cyrax and Kenshi something to do. I'd prefer Quan or Kung Lao over that boring vampire any day.

Nitara is indirectly at the origin of Shao Kahn death and the Dragon King revival... It's up to you to think that Nitara is useless and had no reason to be in MKDA, but this is wrong...

Nitara is the most unoriginal MK character to date. A vampire. Wow, that took a lot of thinking. It doesn't take much creativity to come up with a vampire as a character.

Nitara is indirectly at the origin of Shao Kahn death and the Dragon King revival... It's up to you to think that Nitara is useless and had no reason to be in MKDA, but this is wrong...

How? How is she indirectly at the origin of Shao Khan's death? Did she walk up to Quan Chi and Shang Tsung and go "Hey, why don't you try killing Shao Khan". And, we don't even know how the DK revived, how can you say that she was responsible for it?

In closing, Nitara is an unoriginal and boring fighter that contributed nothing to the plot as of yet. Show me a bio where it says in black and white that it was affected by the orb, and I'll apologize to each and every one of you. But until then, I'm holding by my belief that Nitara is useless.

I cant show you that, but by means of originality yes its not hard to come up with a vampire but she was the first one in Mortal Kombat so far no others, though i didnt like Nitara all that much she still can contribute some sort of a storyline away from the main one. I'm pretty sure my friend told me that Reptile served her but then she used Cyrax instead and Reptile was in search of a master and stumbled upon hatching the Dragon King. Maybe he can be along side the dragon king wanting revenge on Nitara for abandoning him. And im pretty sure didnt reptile get some stronger powers from the magik that sealed the egg and when it hatched the blast went through him with the powers or something.But its just a thought.(I'm not exactly sure on his story so dont yell if i messed something up)

OK, all thess ninjas have different powers, but they remain nevertheless all ninjas, and it's exactly their big excess counts which makes them lose their originality in the game... And then, even except Mortal Kombat, a ninja, it's not very original, we finds there at least one in practically all fighting Games (Vega in SF2, Hanzo Hattori in Samurai Showdown, Kagemaru in VF...) We can't say about it so much for Vampires, we see it not systematically, and even less in MK... For me, Nitara is a rather original character, if we stay within the context of MK or, more globally, fighting games, because there had been no Vampire before in MK, and very few in fighting games in general...

We can consider that Nitara is indirectly responsible for Shao Kahn death, because she diverted Reptile of his road by sending him towards Kitana camp, so leaving the time with Quan Chi and Shang Tsung to kill Shao Kahn... I don't say that if Reptile had arrived in time, he would have been able to prevent them from it, but he would have returned them the much more difficult task, it's sure... We can't deny Nitara role in this part of the MKDA story...

For the Dragon King resurrection, the doubt doesn't take place to know if the end of Reptile occurred or not, but to know if Reptile is or not the Dragon King, it is completely different...

The only way for that the DK resuscitates was that somebody is near the egg when this one had hatched... And except Reptile, nobody else had a reason to be in the lava tomb... Unless DK assimilated in fact Cyrax or Nitara instead of Reptile, but it would be a bit ridiculous...

How are shokan unoriginal? Could you please explain where, and how many times you've seen half human half dragon 4 armed fighting machines before?

A ninja with the ability to freeze people, or a ninja with the ability to teleport and spit fire is less original than a vampire? Interesting, i haven't seen any movies starring Tom Cruise titled "An Interveiw With A Cryokinetic Ninja".

Also, i don't believe Street Fighter's Vega was a ninja, but i guess thats irrelavant.

When I talked about the 3 Shokans, I talked only about MK... Some people here cultivate the art to answer completely next to the plate, or by deforming my comments, or by distorting these by not taking back the totality of my phrases, and that, that annoys me excessively... You can put the powers which you want, a ninja remains a ninja, and in MK, ninjas, we had 8 in total, any MK games confused...
