by they way of things, there showing off the xbox and ps2 video trailers. i say its probly not coming to the gc. i see why not, mkda sold pretty good at 250,000 plus but not the best but good enough.but im ticked off about it im sure the rest of the people who have the gc as well. midway just outta just come out and spit it out and say mk6 has been canned for the gc. i hate to say it but it's 50/50 its unlikely you'll see mk6 on the gc.they would of showed somthing on the gc version by now. i could be wrong so.keep an out on the front page maybe good news for the gc.

As of right now, things are looking too good for MK6 on GC, but I hope this happens. As many of you people know that MKT on PS1 was 1st.A few months later the N64 one followed. I hope that Midway is just focusing on the PS2 and Xbox versions now and the Gamecube one later. I hate the fact that it wont even come out on Gamecube, let alone that the cube wont have online play. I am so mad

I dont really care because i dont have GC so that sucks 4 u guys. I bet that it will come out though 4 Gc like he said, it will come out 4 Ps2 and xbox and then a few months later it will come out 4 Gc.

Three months ago, I would be e-mailing Midway hate letters on the hour with the news of this, but I got a PS2 now.

My sincere appologies to GC-only owners, I really do mean that, I knew the sting of console-only games not too long ago.

If this is so hopefully the Xbox will be cheaper by the time it comes out. Damn you Midway. Why would you do this? It's not like it sold horribly. I bought it the weekend it came out.

I have been a ninetendo fan for a long time..but i have to admit the game cube is pretty poo.It just seems that everything coming out for the console is for kids.The n64 didnt have as many games as its competition but every now and then an amazing game would come out like zelda,perfect dark,golden eye or super mario. Its a shame if it doesnt come out on the cube....but i wouldnt be suprised

1st off the cube isnt a kids system nor does it have mostly kids games. The cube as a wide selection of games. I myself own more teen rated games than any other. I agree supernick that Midway owns us Nintendo Gamecube fans for MK: DA selling 250,000 units.

GameCube had a fully uncensored version of BMX XXX from the start. You could make your female rider topless from the start. Xbox you had to do a bit of unlocking and PS2 censored the boobies in the unlockable stripteases. Not sure if Xbox stripteases were censored.

Matt responds: I've just asked around and for now I still don't know. Apparently Midway has decided to rethisthingisdisableduate its GameCube development plans through 2005 and may not release any new projects for the system. But I've heard that Mortal Kombat could be an exception. I'll know for sure tomorrow. In the meantime, you might not want to get your hopes up.

midway needs lighten up and release mk6 for the gc. mk did good for gc, not the best but good. they'll be idiots for not releasing it for the system, and not to mention a lot of angry people as well. and who dont want to shell out more money to buy another system just to play mk6. mk is the only game by midway that does well, on gc. and there other games crap out.

I hope it comes out for the cube... as thats the only major system I have. If it doesn't, I will buy another system for the game. But I won't do that until I get the final word of it not being on the cube. And I won't buy the system tell the day of MK6 is released... that way I can get the cheapest price for a system

I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't come out for the Cube, in all honesty. I've had the Gamecube for about 1 year now, and I can honestly say that in that one year, I've had no desire to get any game for it...I only have 4 games for the cube, and my PS2 library is growing every other month. And yes, I agree with ]ombat...it is the lack of online support for the Gamecube that has killed it. While I DO think that MKD will come out to Gamecube, it just wont' have online capability. Who knows...maybe they'll make up for it and fuck the rest of us PS2 and XBox owners over by giving it exclusives. But honestly I don't think the GC is a very good system...if it doesn't come out for GC, I won't be surprised. But for all GC owners, I hope it does come out.

Back to topic : They should of make MK6 for GC just leave the online gaming off. i wish they did so i can play it on my cousins game cube is i sold my xbox.(I didnt have great games so i sold xbox and just found out mk6 is soon coming out.)

Well the resaon its not coming to gamecube is not cuz of the lack of online game play is cuz it sold really bad on the gamecube, 250.000 to the 1 million xbox and sony did each, not to mention the cust for the MKDA gamecube tour,they simply wereent pleased and some other titles of there's sold bad on the gamecube aswell so GC onwer's dont get your hopes up

sorry to all cube owners out there. that's gotta suck to get the shaft. but then again, blame nintendo. they're the ones living in the past. just buy a new system. by the time mkd comes out, ps2 and xbox will probably only be 100-120 bucks. screw nintendo though. a few of my friends won't even be able to play mkd now except at my house. for they refuse to buy other systems. less competition in my crib = me pissed off. hopefully online makes up for it.
