If it isn ́t relesead on the gamecube I will forever be disappointed!

The Xbox verion nor Gamecube version sold a million in the US or worlwide. The Xbox version has sold about 510,000 worldwide and the Gamecube version has sold around 320,000 worldwide. In the US, the Xbox version did about 450,000 and the Gamecube version did about 250,000. Even though they aren't as high numbers on Gamecube, they are still pretty impressive numbers.

i could really care less if it comes out on GC or not since i have Xbox and PS2 though my heart goes out to u with GC *cough cough*

I have some sort of breaking info on possible why MK6 wont or won't be coming to Gamecube for a while atGameCube Advanced -just reported Midway hasnt been doing so well. So I guess Midway wont take a chance spending money on the cube version since it sold less than the PS2 and Xbox versions and they most likey see that they have a greater chance a getting better profits on PS2's and Xbox's MK6. I bet if Midway werent in money trouble they would make a MK6 for Gamecube. Hell I'll bet if MK6 brings Midway out of money finiaical trouble like MK: DA did( I bet history will repeat itself) I think Midway might consider a Gamecube version of the game. So lets support Midway by buying MK6 for PS2 and or Xbox!!!!

I'll be honest in saying that I'm not surprised that it might not come out for the GC. If online play is that important in the game, then the GC is the wrong system to put it on. Being a GC owner only, I'll have to read about how good the game is. *Sniff*

Agreed. As a Gamecube owner myself and I invest most of my gaming money into it, I dont think that I would buy MK6 even if it were coming to gamecube without online play. Since I am also a PS2 ower what I would have done was buy both copys of MK6 for PS2 and Gamecube overall I would think. :.\

well if you guys feel so strongly about it being on Cube ask for verification... Email Midway itself... explain how MKDA does good on Nintendos console. I also do not believe that the XBOX version sold more than the PS2 when PS2 has sold about 30 more consoles as MS's Box.

I am REALLY pissed off right now, and going to ignore that you said that GCN is a crappy system. But damn, if it isin't, I'm just going to buy a freakin' PS2 just for that (And maybe Onimuisha 3).

I've been a Nintendo fanboy from the begining, they started my gaming fun. But I've been pissed with the big N since the N64 days. If MK6 doesn't come out on GC, Nintendo just lost a long time fanboy.

im pissed off as well, it there own fault for being in a money trouble. putting crap titles out. they only one was good was mk. at first i thought mk:d was coming to game cube in that conference call and said gamecube will remaim offline. and now this, they should of came out and said why mk6 is not coming to the gamecube. i hope midway fails and i sincerely hope they get in more of a money trouble and end up being bankrupt out of the video game business. next time midway outta have the balls to come out and tell the gc owners on why its not coming out or tell them the gc version has been canned. and the fault lies on nintendo as well not having a online plan from the get go.

naw i think its nintendos fault for not making a game to compete with online play of other systems. But hasn't there been games for systems and they just take out the online portion was medal of honour on GC cuz it was online same wif ummmmm..... if i think of others i'll repost

I dont care what anyone thinks, MK Deception will make it on the cube, for one it has online capabilities though not a very big one, and besides I dont think all the talk about it not coming for the cube is news, its just speculation by people who think it doesnt have online abilities.... I guess what Im saying is that there is no source to confirm it wont come out for the cube.

In case you didnt see this other thread, just tonight igncube confirmed that MK6 will NOT be on Gamecube. To bad I would have gotten MK6 Gamecube, but I will have to get the PS2 version. If it is true about Xbox's price dropping to $99 this April i will get myself an Xbox and get MK6 for itNow that Midway has broken 1 of my dreams by canning MK6 for GC , there are 2 others they can break. 1 frost not being in MK6 and the 2nd is that MK collection wont come as well.

I don't know why, but I think that at some later point, Nintendo will pay Midway to put the game on their console. The reasoning is because every single Mortal Kombat has been on Nintendo consoles, and that right there is something a lot of Nintendo fans do, buy every Mortal Kombat game that comse out.

I'm furious to hear of this news but I realize that us bitching on a forum won't do too much, if there's anyway that MKOnline could start a petition for the NGC fans that could later be sent to Midway and Nintendo then I think this would become more than useless bitching. And for those of you who dislike the Cube this has nothing to do with you anyways so lets try for a change to post an intellignet comment rather than bashing fans of the exact same genre. If no mortal kombat 6 for gamecube i will be very pissed thats the only reason i bought a new system i was happy with my snes. If it does not come out for gc i will not buy another midway game ever.

MK's not a hot-enough property for Nintendo to spend any extra money to get it on the GameCube.

The IGN Cube report says that no Midway games at all will be appearing on the GameCube, which means no Midway Treasures (featuring MK1/2) and no Kombat Kompilation if it ever actually materializes.

Ummmmmm, yes it is. I am pretty sure Nintendo would be willing to pay Midway because Mortal Kombat/Nintendo have a long history and seeing a Mortal Kombat game not on a Nintendo system would be weird for me at least.

Problem: MKDeception is not coming for GameCube.
Solution: Get a PS2/XBox.
