Raiden has been confirmed back. It was around E3 when we found out.

Ya Xplay used to have it that Raiden was back with his torpedo move this was confirmed at E3 but then they removed it a week later but I believe he's back .

Raiden must come back, he is one of the only beings that actually know about the Dragon King. Mortal Kombat won't be the same without him.

Raiden is a mentor and guide to all of the Earthrealm defenders, they would be lost without him. Raiden will definatley return in this game to concentrate on protecting his realm.

Raiden is one of the most important characters in the whole story of MK; so he has to be in MKD. However I personally don't care if he is back or not.

He better come back.

Anyway, Raiden has been confirmed by two different sources, i can't recall them so we'll just have to wait to see the thunder god back.

i think he is out like in mk3, will not fight but is part of the story line.

I think Raiden will be back only as a guide, like he was in MK3 and the the first film. telling the fighters about the threats and how to overcome the threat of Evil. I dont think Raiden will be playable. Especially if Decpetion takes place primarily in Outworld, as he has no power there.

well i was watching some movies of gameplay over at good ol gamespot....and I saw that Asrah girl....and they definitely gave her the superman movie.....altough i must admit it looks alot cooler....cuz she spins and electricity surrouunds her....plus i saw her weapon...which was lui kangs old dragon sword...thats pretty cool too i must say
