I agree, I like how bizarre the Monkey fighting style is and IMO MK should have more Animal fighting styles like the Tiger and the Scorpion!

Anyway, Monkey is an interesting choice for Noob Saibot, but personally, I would've gone with Gyokushin Ryu Ninjutsu though that style is not known by many but it is also rarely taught.

I've been wanting to see Monkey style kung fu or is it Gung fu, for a long time.
I'd like it to be like in the movies, with the fighter jumping, doing weird poses and lot's or rolls and flips.
That'd be so awesome, but I doubt that's how it's gonna be for MK. So far it looks pretty stiff, like all the other styles.
But oh well, maybe they'll do it in DOA4, T5 or 6, or VF5.
I wanna see something really exaggerated, wire work like in the movies would be kool too.
As a style for Noob, if they keep it stiff then it's OK, but I'd rather he have some other style, maybe ninjitsu or something like that. Not like Xyrax, It should be more like Raven from Tekken 5, or Hayate from DOA3. something fast and effective, It can be a little flashy, but not weird like drunken boxing or Monkey.

Why are people so adament that monkey is a bad style for him? It's a form of Kung Fu that isn't prevelant in video games and could very well distinguish him as being original, something he damn sure hasn't ever been before. And also, we've barely seen him in action so we don't really know how realistic it'll be as a style, they could very well give him a bunch of moves that look pretty sweet but have nothing to do with monkey. Let's wait and see how it plays out before we say "noob, monkey, awful."

Again, monkey isn't shitty, although it looks a little retarded (it's supposed to, to some degree anyway), it can be very vicious.
Just be glad he doesn't have something crappy like western boxing.
I don't think monkey really suits Noob either, but i'm glad it's included.

If you've actually read up on Monkey, it's supposedly a very deadly and intimidating fighting style. Don't be put off by the name.

Hmm, i see, well like I suggested, Gyokushin Ryu Ninpo...if not...then Togakure Ryu

Too bad the Monkey style in MKD won't be true to its real life counterpart because of the stiff animation and similar style of play for every character.

monkey is a good style for noob, i was expecting a strange actrobatic style for him.

monkey is an awesome style and i hope that they use it right with noob or else everyone will misread how it really works. monkey works well for noob and if his throw was maybe a teleport onto the opponents back and he like bites them or scratches them or somethign then that would be awesome too
