T_C_K I agree with you, you can just as easily just play as the character by not switching, granted it's not the same thing, but still it's better than not having them at all. For awhile I thought raiden was going to be X-ed out, hell he still might be, but still there is so much cool stuff in MKD it's still worth my while.

i think that the tag team idea is good but im not sure if they should have used smoke and noob. they could have done this just as eisily with two new characters rather than just making noob and smoke fans annoyed, but im not gonna make up my mind untill i have read the story to it.

I agree 100% with CMETH. This whole tag team thing is garbage IMO. 2 AWESOME characters that couldve been simply amazing by themselves are now together with each other in battles. I cant believe it, i feel as if MKD is ruined for me now. I was looking so forward to playing MKD with Smoke and Noob seperately, i was dieing to see what styles, weapons, and moves they would have. Now i just know to myself that all that wont matter because they're working together. Its ridiculous.

The ONLY way i could only somewhat accept this is if theres an ON and OFF option. Perhaps you could have a choice if you want to play as them together or play as them seperately. But blah, i dont even know..........what are the chances of this happening? VERY SLIM.

As for the name Noob-Smoke? Hahahahaha, IMO its so horrible that its actually funny, Lol.

Damn........its gonna be alot worst for me if this whole together thing actually effects there actual storyline.

An on or off option would make me happy. I think if they were seperate they would have more unique moves unlike some we have seen. That double eblow dash is nothing kool, that could be done by anybody. I wanted to see Smoke and Noob have unique moves which use their powers. Smoke and Noob really only had one game each that they were unique. Noob only had MKT, since in MK4 he didn't have none of his own moves. And Smoke was only really unique as a cyborg in MK3 and than in MKT Human Smoke has his own unique finising moves which made him feel more complete to his UMK3 Human form. Both characters deserve alot better considering this is their true first chance in 3-D to be unique.

I am happy with some of their moves, but not many. Noob turning invisble should be Smoke's move I think and Noob should not throw Smoke out, he should throw a clone of himself out. Noob's MKT moves would have been awesome in 3-D and Smoke could have had all new moves because of his new form.

IMO, they were lazy.

i am gonna give midway the benefit of the doubt and guess that maybe they felt noob and smoke were too weak or simplistic on their own. both were just swaps of other fighters with a story so it is possible they just were too simple alone.

The only ninja that was a true pllaet swap was Smoke. He copied Scorpions moves in his human form and one of Sektors in his cyborg form. Noob Saibot was original with moves, they were pretty good. You can either see this as a blessing to put them together or as an atrosity. You can say they were creative as hell, or just lazy. It can be either of two things, but we'll have to wait to see if they admit they were lazy and just put them together cus they were running out of time. I personally think it was done out of creativity, but that's just my opinion. Noob was never generic though, whoever said he was.
