I disagree. If anything, it suggests that neither is important enough to be a character on his own, thereby cheapening and weakening both characters. Also, as CMETH suggested, it seems like an excuse to make both characters half-assed.

I'm also pissed that they're joined as a tage team, I wanted them to be individuals, but unlike many here, I can get over it, stop bitchin' about it and move on. I suggest some of you do the same.
Plus, it makes sense to join them together. It's obvious that this game has a lot of MK II refrences in it. Why not take the two hardest characters in the game and put them together as a combo, and the apparent Sub-Boss. I was just hoping to see their weapons first.
Also, it's funny. I wonder if Noob/Smoke was an idea at the beggining of the project or was it implemented recently. If it was at the start, then in a sense, we had a look at the sub-boss ever since we layed eyes on the Ermac Vs. Noob pic in the Netherbelly, way back in May.

I like the way they have it between Noob and Smoke, in the previous game where I believe Smoke and Noob were in the game but seperately, I prefered Noob over smoke cause in my opinion Noob was better than Smoke but now as these two together they will be a force to reckon with. When it came to smoke I did not like the human smoke and refused to play as him but I loved Cyber Smoke

Ehh, from Ashras Bio, it sounds like Noob is in need of some protection, so now Smoke is his bodygaurd. It makes sence and will probably be accepted once we play the game.
