Ok, some facts:

N00b Saibot and Skab both have one style in common according to the 2nd IGN trailer.

N00b Saibot is from the Netherrealm, where everything is most likely dead, it would be no surprise that under the mask he is rotting or skeletal.

N00b and Skab have almost identical eyes according to the German magazine renders of Skab and N00b.

In the German magazine, the page where we see a render of Sub Zero, Mileena and Skab together. Sub and Mileena are in their alternate costumes, it wouldn't surprise me if Skab/N00b were in an alternate costume since that seems to be the theme of that shot.

My conclusion is, the likelyhood of "Skab" and N00b being one and the same are now HIGHER than the Skab we saw so far being a completely new character.

Concerning that Skab guy. I am not sure I am going to trust a source that kinda mistook Ben for Ken Masters lol . But anyways, is it "skab" could be a new look/alt costume for Kabal? I mean Kabal is pretty messed up if you think about it anyways.

Skaven, I see where you were going with your post, but if you sit and think about it, it just does not add up. KabalSkab...I doubt it, but it is still a valid thought.

And speaking of wishful thinking, this is a common example of people only seeing and believing what they wish. We saw the exact same thing with Li Mei, and previously with nightwolf. Just think about this for one second. We don't even need a inside source to solve this problem, since human logic should have done that for us.

Although I'm sure each character has 3 costumes, there really is no way you can rationalize Noob having four(although I can see some people trying to, desperately). And if you're still not convinced, look in the trailor. Noob's face isn't rotting or distorted. It's normal, vital flesh.

It amazes me how so many people have forgotten about ketchup, mustard, sandman, and kahn so quickly. Talk about history repeating itself. Ultimately, you may believe whatever you want. But Skab is Skab, Noob is Noob, Noob is not Skab, Skab was probably originally suppose to be Noob, but as of now, he is not.

Jesus Christ. These are two different characters. Where in Hell does it say "Each Character has 3 outfits.", and those videos with Scab in them are Early development, and in the newer ones, there is no life-bar that says "Noob" on it. The character also has two outfits ( Scab.), We've seen both of Noob's, which are very nice, might I add. Scab is not Noob. Proof? Show me where in the NEW videos does it Say Noob, and then When something new is released saying Scab is Scab, What will you say then? Eh? I'm finished.

Noob is noob, two outfits a character. Noob's we've seen. SKab's we've seen.

Problem solved.

The characters get red around the eyes after they get beaten in a match, go play MK DA, and watch for yourself, there Chief. Your Proof is nothing. Noob is Noob. Skab is as we saw him.

The only reason this Skab=Noob rumor got started was because somebody saw Noob's name under the life bar and automatically assumed that noob and skab are the same. If you look back at early in game pictures you will see Subzero's name under Ermac's life bar while ermac is the character fighting someone else. My point is you dont see people assuming Ermac is Subzero. Or vice versa. So i defiantely wouldn't assume Skab is Noob. Also look at early renders of both Noob and Skab. Skab has rotting flesh around the eyes while noob has nothing like this.

Any comments or is this thread dead?

I agree with you Temp. I guess with the Li Mei Issue finally put to rest, another argument had to take it's place. This will probably go on until E3 or after. Also I think the "Final Proof" Part of the title should be removed...only cause nothing has been proven.

yet again the info in your post is incorrect. the pic of li mei kicking kenshi she has a purple outfit. that oufit is now blue. the pic of noob kicking ermac he is all black. that outfit he now has human flesh tones. things change. when have we seen this alleged 2 outfits of "skab"? where are the pics that show a guy in maroon and black in 2 different outfits? yet again your ass owned by the ben/kobra thing when the pics proved kobra and ben are the same person. when ben kicks noob off the ledge...yet again...he has glowing eyes and no flesh on the jaw. yet again...until you get some video editing software and start using it you need to shush your kid mouth. and...stop using the sub pic for ermac theory. in that pic ermac was on screen, his name was in the lifebar, but he had sub's pic. in the german trailer, noob's face and name are in the lifebar when he has his black outfit on. the same face and lifebar name appear when the guy in maroon/black is on screen; big difference. it does not skab in the lifebar with noob's pic when the maroon/black outfit is on screen.

thank you. now that people can actually see those pictures then we can finally start 'thinking' that its a possibility that skab has 'not' been shown yet. everyone just seems to shut the door on this whole topic as if they were told from boon himself that, that guy in the video was skab. seriously, how do you know its skab? because the german magazine told you? but then why does noob's costume have a strikingly odd resemblance to skab's so called render? im not saying that its noob, im just saying that everyone should keep this in mind and not assume things and then change rumours into facts. i dont know any better than any of you, but by examining things closer, like these pictures, im not limiting my expectations.

Because of previous circumstances, I'm just going to keep this brief. The initial costume of Noob is still in play from what I've seen, and that means we've got two valid costumes for Noob. Now we have one of Skab's costumes with the render(yes, that's skab), and one of his from the puzzle fighter pick.

I'll say it again: If you can explain to me how Noob can have four costumes, with proof, I'll concede. If you're implying they changed Noob's costumes from what they were, then we're weighing an entire arguement on a guess, since no one can prove whether they changed his looks completely or not. Still, that doesn't change the fact that it's extremely unlikely they changed his design.

And maybe I'm just seeing things, but why the grudge against me?
