They probably haven't given Skab a moveset yet, as he was orginally intended to be Noob's main outfit. But as its been said Noob would have to have 4 outfits for him and Skab to be one and the same. Noob has his characoal black look and the reskin with pale flesh, and Skab has his standard and a version were he's placed a helmet on his nasty face.

Even if Ben and Kobra are supposed to be diffent people they share the same cobra picture on the back of their shirt. You can see the bottom half of it on Ben's back on the pic of him wielding that giant club. Very likely that Ben = Kobra.

anyways, the purple and black suit is shown in a video with noob's name. it was from the german demo thing i believe. its a possibility that each character has three costumes. boons been pretty busy keeping everyone happing by fulfilling wishes like bringing back kabal, nightwolf and ermac, why wouldnt he do the same for people who were asking for more costumes per character? anyways, its not finalized whether we've seen skab or not. some of you people are trying to make rumours into facts by saying "that guy fighting kobra is really skab because i said so!" seriously, no one knows shit so stop talking like you know whats going on. if you go to that mksecrets.net site and check out that little article whether we've seen skab or not, it'll show you and tell you some very valid points that can lead to that character being noob altogether. all this is a possibility but not a fact. look at the render and the picture of that so called skab character at that site and observe each picture. i noticed both characters have the same color scheme, a hoodie that flaps, two yellow string things across the chest, long sleeves, and both have gloves. the only thing we cant see properly is the mask because its flapping in the wind. look at the upper body of the costume and not the lower part. this looks exactly like the render. now examine ther other picture... same color scheme, long sleeves. but all we see is his backside. its possible we havent seen skab at all, or whether he even exists. that german magazine was full of shit to begin with so why should we believe what the article says about skab? they also stated a character named ken masters... also, where's this so called '24' character they were talking about? they could have made a mistake and probably ment that there will 'be' 24 characters in the game.

the info in your post is wrong. when ben knocks noob off the ledge, noob is wearing a hood, not a mask. you can see his face in several frames before he falls. until you get some good video editing software, you should not be spewing opinions as facts. ben is kobra, noob is skab. save this thread because you will be owned so bad when e3 rolls around.

As far as I know the rumor of Kobra being a shokan was started because a Spanish websites feature to somewhat squished together sentences, one saying a brother of Goro will appear ingame and the next claiming a new character named Kobra will appear. They were crushed into one paragraph so many people jumped to the conclusion that Kobra and Goro's rumored bro are one and the same. I translated the article piece myself and don't agree with that logic since the sentences don't seem related, just hastily typed.

The_suit bring up a good point about Noob and "Skab's" outfits having suttle similarities. Hopefully we'll see all Noob's outfits at E3 and find out the truth. If Skab is Noob it would mean he and probably everyone else has 4 outfits as the Skab fighting Kobra is wearing some sort of helmet/mask.

Hey Iownyou or whatever you are called, I suggest taking a look at the latest pics posted by Gamespot, the ones in the Xbox section of MK Deception. They show Ben swinging a spiked mace, and he's wearing the same exact gloves and pants as "Kobra". Black gloves with yellow Cobra logos and black pants with yellow trims.

well now we know the hooded guy is Ben.

is it just me or does anyone else think that this Ben guy can totally become an awesome character? I liked JC but his story really sucked.

Yeah, Ben is showing a lot of promise. Maybe since he's a traditional martial arts guy he'll have a fatality that involves some crazy death delivering technique like Pai Mei's 5 Palm Exploding Heart technique.

I also agree with Johnny Cage, he was an awesome character at first but they killed him so many times and everytime he came back he became more and more of a washed up joke. Still like him though.

I'm still also hoping and wondering when they are going to show Kabal.

Alright, everyone, here's why I started this post in the first place:
ppl had been talking about Skab as this brand new character, a walking zombie looking like Drahmin got half-eaten. In reality, this just is not true. As you can see from the pic on the first page, it looks like Noob Saibot, but it also looks like Skab. I know Boon has awesome character ideas, we've all seen this before (Nightwolf, for example), but I don't think that even he would go this far, as to make a rotting corpse as a character, but that's just my thoughts.
Again, if you look at the pic, it looks like both of them, but since Noob Saibot has been CONFIRMED, and, as far as we know, Skab is just some B.S. made up by the German magazine.
In conclusion, Skab is Noob Saibot, and vise-versa. End of story.
(no flaming me, please. this was an attempt at an intellengent thread. Don't screw it up.)

I'm not sure if they are the same person, I mean we never saw n00b without the mask so this might be our chance. Regardless, if N00b and Skab are the same then that leaves us with one more new character to go.
