That is Scab, he has his own spot on the character select screen. Scab is the guy on the upper rigth hand corner and he has that exact same hood/helmet with mouth peice or whatever covering his face.

So Scab and Noob are two different people and that is not one of Noob's alt. outfits.

Eh...that's probably his second alternate costume. Each character in this game will have at least 2 alternate costumes.

If you look at that picture that justycist has posted you'll see that it only displays NOOB so it could be. But i hope not because Noob Saibot sounds cooler IMO.

I agree, but I think they will keep his full name. Tobias is co-creator of Mortal Kombat and of Noob Saibot. I think it’s lama to change his name just because he’s not on the team anymore. But in an older MK (MK1 if I’m not mistaken), the health bar displayed Cage instead of Johnny Cage. So I guess it will just display Noob and will announce the full name in the end.
