The MKA intro definitely is the best intro of all MK games, and I believe it's canon. I love the fighting scene between Kenshi and Quan Chi and at first I thought that morphed Shang was the real Ermac and he betrayed Kenshi. That was cool part.

The intro, a lot of it is canon as some of the bios even revealed. Subzerothe7th is right, it's partially canon.

I could see the intro being canon considering there isnt anything Im aware of that contridicts the intro. Only thing Im aware of is cinder from the midway forums said the intro only sets the mood for Armageddon and doesnt reveal the true fate of the fighters. That may end up being true, but I doubt the conclusion has been written and that cinder knows the story any more than we do.
Anyways Im considering it canon until something else contridicts it, such as Kenshi showing up in the next MK game.

Well I for one don't believe the intro is canon (possibly partially), if it is... idk what to think.
Why would they end MK with the most random, questionable fights and killings they could think of?
Some do make sense, but overall, no matter how cool the intro was, it is a jumbled mess that needs to be sorted out, or dismissed as being canon entirely.
