Interesting. I haven't seen it for myself, but this could mean something like Mileena makes a deal with someone to restore her face if she fights for them. That could be why Baraka went ape at her.

lol Mileenas outfit in the trailer looks nothing like Li Meis does. Her outfit has sleeves, no pants. Li mei second costume looks a little like it, but so does Sindels, so does that mean they have beef too?? Hmmm

no way i loved the Kitana Mileena rivalry! Ever since Mk2 i wondored who would really win. It has gone back and fourth, maybe deception could finally give us answers

Well seeing as how Kitana has killed Mileena not once but multiple times I think it's a pretty safe bet to say that Kitana won and is the better fighter of the two. LOL...However, on the other hand, Mileena just doesn't stay down so who knows?

Li Mei was the hottest thing to hit the MK franchise since Kitana's oh-so-glorious MKII debut. I don't think she'll be gone... since we all know Mileena is hardly her equal in terms of beauty (well, just as long as she keeps the veil on, I'm good.) Fatality.

I did not say Lei Mei is in the trailer I sad the pic of Mileena in the trailer, you can tell it is mileena cause he mouth is covered.......

But she has the cut off top that Lei Mei has in MKDA and she has the same bootas as MKDA...I mean it looks like Lei Mei but with the mask.....it is weird.....I wish i had photoshop to show ya

YES PLEASE! If Kitana is back give her a pourpose!!! There are better characters that could take her spot. Im so sick of she doing nothing at all.

i hope Sindel is good in MKD since I never liked her. Mileena is cool IMO.

hmmmmm. This may sound stupid, but what if Li Mei was the actual sister of Kitana, and Shao Kahn somehow managed to replace her with Mileena. I know its far fetched, but everyone keeps saying that Li Mei and Mileena are so alike. O well, thats just an idea of mine.

lol yeah cool idea! but i dont think lei mei is in it the picture of sindel kicking the female ninja,it looks like kitana to me and dont get confused cause there are 3 pics with sindel kicking one is on her kicking mileena the one im talking about is sindel kicking(maybe kitana)infront of the blood waterfall thingy to me it looks like kitana but i guess we'll have to see !

The PSM has pics of the 2 costumes of Mileena.

Her main costume is showed in all it's glory on a high resolution picture, much like the one on the official web site. That picture shows that her main outfit is nothing like Li-Mei's. It is a LITTLE bit like the alternate outfit of Li-Mei, however, they are very different if you detail them.

Mileena's alternate costume can be seen in the following pictures(without going frame-by-frame on the trailer):
1- Page 56, in a fight with Sindel
2- Page 57, in a fight with Sub-Zero
3- Page 61, in a fight with Sub-Zero

However, that costume does not look like Li-Mei's one; they look really different.

Only one costume looks like Li-Mei's, and is not the Mileena one, but the one of a girl kicking Kenshi, that one is also quite different, as it isnot exactly the same.

I think most people are just trying to bring some relation between Mileena and Li-Mei just because the use the same weapons. The actual game-in-motion footage we have seen comes from the trailer, and there you cannot say if she uses "the exact moves of Li-Mei"(as I've seen people claiming that), nor can you detail that the "costume is exactly the same with a mask".

If they were SOOO alike, using the same moves, and having the same costume, I think one of the MANY previews made to this moment would have said this: "I think Mileena is basically Li-Mei, with a little bit changed costume" instead of: "Many characters are returning from Classic MK games; some of the ones we've seen already include: Mileena, Baraka, Ermac, Noob Saibot(...)each one showing unique moves and attack styles(...), also; each character has brand new costumes(some are actually very like their original ones, but in 3D)".

In 30 days, Midway will probably reveal at least the returning characters still not known; and more info on attacks, costumes and gameplay; probably including these kind of similarities between MKDA and MKD.
Let's just wait and see.

I don't think anything actually "happened" to her face I think that she was a part of the same race that Baraka was a part of whatever they were called. I don't think they ever officially said actually.

I don't think li meis costumes look anythin like mileenas. Nice pics of mileena though. Hmm, she's practically naked. I wonder if thats good or not.

I think kitana only officially killed mileena once and that was during MK2. She was resurrected by shang or kahn for MK3 but it didn't say she died. In mk4 it said that she came out of hiding to aid shinnok and settle the score with kitana. So i think she only died once.
As for her face, she was an unfinished clone. And like someone said, it was never really stated that she was apart of barakas race, although we do see in games that she does have a love interest in him.

Can someone PM me the pisture you guys talk about Sindel?, I haven't seen it yet...thanks. Also, apparently Li Mei has been confirmed...not 100% sure but supposedly, she's in.(According to German OPM)
