I love how thoroughly they're getting into the jokes with Reiko, with the rip-off Kahn hammer and the rip-off Kahn helmet and whatnot. I shudder to think what his ending will be. (As for gameplay, he certainly seems fast and brutal.)

But, dammit, must Jarek copy Mavado's rope stuff? I mean, he's already sharing the hookswords with Kabal; let Mavado keep the grappling hook techniques to himself.

Hmmm.... It seems Fujins Tornado Slam is actially just like a TK slam now, not like it was in MK4. Sareena looks sweet. Smokes new teleport must be that "Play Dead" move and his stunning profectile must be StinkyFingers. His Stinky cloud is now identical to an Ice Clone... neato, i guess.

ShoaKahn is a must.

Those are great videos, I love how Smoke plays and Sareena looks great. Shame they've ugly'd her up though- her first render in the MKA cast pic was gorgeous, then they replaced it (?!) with the fugly ultra-pink lips witch that we see in game!

The videos also showcase my frustration with the games appearance; new stuff- Liu Kang's get-up animation (not in the vids but I've seen it), Reiko's throw, Smoke's teleport etc. look great. But then there's the recycled stuff- same character models, throws...it really stands out for me. If they had spent less time on side games and tarted it ALL up it would, without a doubt, be the best MK game made
