I don't know why you are claiming these lies about me. Is this what you do about people beating u, lie and talk smack about them. Last time I played i beat you and don' t even say that i was cheating cause there is no way you can cheat with your claim about gravity loss and all that bs. I never erase none of my record. Yeah, gstylez2 is nothing but a rank whore. I beat his ass and every time i challenge him, it says "match no longer avalible", but in reality he quit the Create-A-Match and just started another so that it wouldn't say "Challenge Rejected". He's a pathetic loser.

MKMaster4ever. He beat me twice wtih sujinko and started alughing and saying rude comments. after that he pikced darui and boraicho over and over again and keept laughing on the mic. I dont mind losing to skilled payers but this dude was a prick. I had to turn my mic off since i couldnt concentrate.

funny u mention that guy when he started that account i knew from the first match he had other accounts i had him down 10 games and he was furious but he's a pattern player i can beat him he's gets mad pretty easy i call him hillbilly but where cool now.

i am going to have to back JiucedKobra on this one. combos really do perform differently on Live than Arcade or Practice mode. that's happened to me many times. one example is Sub-Zero's 1, 2, B+2. after B+2 the opponent goes much higher in the air on LIve than in Practice or Arcade mode. so yeah, you have to make adjustments.
not to mention all the weird glicthes i've seen on Live. example: i was playing dude one time, he was Nighwolf and i was Sindel. i don't know what i did but out of nowhere both of our characters dissapeared from the screen. we were on the Ying/Yang stage. i could see the sea and trees but no characters. then out of nowhere his Nightwolf was smack down in the middle of the sea, walking on the water, and i was on the shore but i could only move left and right, not back and/or forth. that was weird. and this is just one example.

i played him twice. I destroyed him the first match. He played with noob somke and on the second match he cornered me with a reversal and started doing noob smokes infinate. At that point i stopped playing and quit afterwards.
also throughout the whole match he would poke and then move in for a grab.
the same poke used on the infinate.

And to think that "PURPLE BUNNY" of all players refused my challenge...what a loser.....
Watch out for a player by the name IMURGOD. Does nothing but Kobra's kali sticks swirl, sweep, and grab tactic. Players are also known to practice this tactic with Ashrah as well. Go straight for her weapon, perform her slash, kick, and slash combo and grab. JuicedKobra perfomed this tactic.
I don't see why players prefer to stoop to being this cheesy. They just pick characters whom they can get a quick win with. People who choose to play that way shouldn't even be playing games.

its boring isnt it? there is no fun in that watsoever, its just annoyin. ive played many kobras that do that.

Most players that use those tactics become very predictable and after a while you should have no problem side stepping their predictable attacks. If you see players going for "cheap" tactics why not turtle them and play keep away. Eventually they will become frustrated and they will make mistakes. Hell, I even out turtle the turtle players when I see them playing the waiting game. Basically what I'm trying to say here is adjust to your opponents play style and look for the loopholes. It make take a couple of matches and as long as they are not using some kind of glitch or infinite you should be able to out smart them after a while. Of course the rank whores will turn off the Xbox before a loss registers for them so at this point I have stopped caring.
To me, this game online has become the way Cvs2 online became to me, something I used to care about. I used to love adding as many wins to my record and set goals for myself to see how many wins I could get before I lost some games. Seeing as how I have had about 150 to 200 wins stolen from me I stopped caring. I even give wins to players when they just want to practice fatalities or combos online because I'm not going to win any prizes for having more wins than losses on my record. I can still play just as good as I normally do with a few more undeserved losses on my record. Maybe adding more losses to my record will get some of these players on live to challenge me because I'm always getting rejected by the high ranking hosts that see me on their screen, they close out their creat-a-game and I get the "This game session is no longer available" message because they are too embarrassed to reject my challenge.
I now just create my own games and wait for challenges, it may take 10 minutes but at least some one plays me!

Right on, Master M. I think the people to look out for online are more the disconnecters and quitters, rather than the "I've got a neat combo that I can't stop doing" players. Speaking of quitters...

Don't hit him too many times, or he'll quit. First match. Pretty annoying.

I take quitters and disconectors as a compliment to my skill and I get a good laugh out of it. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside when I see the "opponent quit" or the "This game session is no longer available". Just think of it, picture the guy on the other end getting so frustrated that his anger leads him to save face and turn off his Xbox or PS2. Better yet, picturing what he is thinking while being juggled helplessly by my Ermac combos that leads him to shut off the power or select to quit! I love it!!! I used to hate it but now I love it! My friends and I sit around the couch and make bets on when the player will quit. Sometimes we get a suprise warrior who like myself who tries to win at all costs and never gives up even if it's an uphill battle. But more often than not we are treated to the disconect message. To me thats worse than losing because they diddn't even try, that is the attitude of a born loser LOL!

Yeah, on the Pal top5 we have 2 players who play exactly that way, Slayercage and MKDA.
Slayercage is however much better and masters other chars too compared to the other cheap player.
Down +1 in sword stance stops their close combat attacks every time with Scorp. This forces them to change tactic and gives you the time to breathe and counterattack on their long range attacks.

I dont mind Kobra users, I usually beat them pretty easy whatever repetitive dirty fight they use.
The ones I personally have problems with (if mastered by experts) are BRC and Rayden.

Yeah MM, I hear where you're coming from. I guess I just pointed Skeez out because I know a lot of other people from this site get fired up over the quitters. Once I think about it, the only time it ever gets under my skin is when it happens during the first match. Even when I get smacked around the first round - which happened last night - I'll at least fight through another to make a complete game, and in some cases, catch on to the other guys' tactics and win the entire match.
My friends and I have done that too, guessing when the other player will get frustrated enough to quit. What anger this game must provoke in some people! Some online games I can think of can be anywhere from 5-10 minutes in length (Halo 2), or even longer. MK:D only asks you dedicate yourself for 2-3 minutes at a time, and some people won't even do that. You're right - that's the attitude of a sore loser.
