Ive read this thread and its said when i see people talking about cheap tactics there are no cheap tactics a tactic is a tactic its only cheap when you cant win and to make yourself feel superior you call it cheap. IN the process what your making yourself out to be is a SCRUB a player that whines and moans about their loss and doesnt take it and just shut up and move along.

Whoa there, Captain Nooby! Your message comes of a little confusing, sans punctuation and proper spelling and all, but I think I get it, and in my case I think you're wrong. The only 'tactic' I'm here to point out is the 'tactic' of shutting your XBOX down, or quitting, before a match is over. (Not quite a tactic, is it?) Does shining the light on these buttclowns mean I'm trying to feel superior? No, it means I'm trying to give at least one or two of my fellow kombatants a heads up on individuals that only prove to be a waste of time fighting.
The title of this thread is "people to look out for online" - I feel I've contributed towards its purpose with my posts.

First off, SentinelsForce, I'd like to congratulate you on being the first person to try and "Start Stuff." Every other person seemed to respond in a diligent manner. One aspect I admire about this site is that you can voice your opinions to be heard without people jumping all over the topic like a pack of wolves.
In case you didn't know, there ARE cheap tactics. When a player just uses Rayden's teleport & throw tactic or Noob's infinite combo an entire match, it's not considered cheap? Unless you are one of these players that practices these methods, I really can't see how you can say there are no cheap tactics. I really feel for those ps2 owners online who have to put up players using game shark codes which enable them to have infinite life etc., so when they come out to speak of the topic, they're considered a whiner or a "SCRUB?" (just visit the PS2 online tournament forum)
Sure, there are ways to overcome these tactics, but after a while it grows tiresome. I have absolutley not problem losing to a player who is skilled, but darn sure to players who do the same moves over and over with the same characters simply because they're too lazy to learn any in-debt combos and skills. On top of that, they have the nerve to talk "smack" after they win a match. Then, when you finally catch onto their pattern and defeat them, they either disconnect or you'll get a "Game Session Is No Longer Available" notice. See a pattern hear? So, unless you are one of those players who uses any of the methods listed above, time to wake up and smell the orange juice. Or is your ego eating at you?

wow, um u need 2 no 3 combos...the 3 that take off the most damage, and if u cant avoid pokes and firballs, than dont pla the game. ( kobra, kang, bo, sindel, ec)

whachout for CHRISOBRIEN, he said "hold on let me look at my moves list " and then pretended not to know how to play and then started attacking my character.
he did subzeros dash and then grabbed me and did a combo. it pissed me off and trew my game off. I still beat him that match.
edit: oh and YouWillPerish. I have played this guy over 20 matches and every time he picks scorpion and does the same thing over and over again. does the kick then hell fire and then the kick or a grab and hell fire. and then if you get good at blocking that he will pull out the sword and do the overhead hit hellfire and grab or overhead hit again. I think this is cheap. I do the mixups when the player is still standing up. I let them get up before i go after them again.

I have a fairly good memory regarding players and you beat me 1 out of 3 like 2 or 3 weeks ago (your winning-loss record was very low so you just started playing the game I guess)
I still remember your low fireball backdashing tactic paired with throws and Kali sticks swirling over and over.
I usually say no to no1 either, unless I already played with som1 whith whom I had no fun. ( Unless you changed your Kobra tactic by now or learned to play with other chars )

I'm not a new player, although i bought the European MKD version recently, i've been playing the US version since the day it came out as well. I'm telling you again, i do not use the freakin kali sticks and i'm not stuck into one character. Just invite me or something, i'll prove you wrong.

nooble bushido.....a lil ****. i kicked his ass badly with jade, he was lui kang....it was a fair fite with 1 round to me and 0 to him......then i got him down to about 10% health. so this is were i wanted to post him here.....he kept doin that pop up the 1 were he slaps u down, he done that 9 times. then he done 2 more and finished me with a low fireball. next round he done that agen but more on the far away bit so i couldnt hit him......to bad the connection went...

Capri, I've had many matches with MKDA, over a hundred, and I'm with him, I've seen him do the b+3 move in Kali Sticks like 2 times total. He still whoops my ass pretty badly, I get him about 1/4 o/t time, but that's not because he's cheap, not because he's cheating (*ahum MK DAN hum*), but because he's just plain old better then me. Just play the dude, you'll see he doesn't whore Kobra in Kali.
Also, I remember Capri doing some serious Mugai Ryu cheese, so don't even think about bitching to others man.

No offense, but are you kidding me??? I actually really enyoy playing this dude! He's been on my friends list since almost day one of Deception and is always a HUGE challange! I'll take a couple matches on him, but he definately wins the majority.
He's crazy good with Scorp, and if you can't figure out how to defend against Hapkido... Uh, you're not alone LOL! If he gets right in your face you're going to take a lot of damage no matter what you try to do. It really reminds me of how Scorp was played in Deadly Alliance with Pi Gua Rage and setting up for a lot of guaranteed Hell Fires. He also plays the best Ermac I've ever seen hands down! As well as a very good Kobra and Nightwolf.
The thing I actually like about his style is he doesn't automatically go for the huge damaging combos all the time. He'll play with you, cause you to make mistakes, and capitalize on it.
If you're not an ego maniac looking for higher rankings n stupid shit, play this guy! He plays to win and will stomp you into the ground. Watch what he does, pick up on a few things, and expand your game!
