Well, I was just thinking of what the hell weapon Sektor could have.I think this would be a Great weapon for Sektor.
I'm not sure what the name of it is, but I want Sektor to have the weapon that is like an electic Bo only shorter.One of the guys used a metal little bo thing in the johnny cage opening scene.
It's a little stub thing that kind of opens up when you hit a button on it.Anyway, yeah that weapong LMAO.
Go easy on me because I just can't think of the name for it, but give Sektor that weapon.It goes with his new look, have it shock his opponents once he hits you with it like little tazzer like.
Have it open up almost Bo length but shorter and have it so that it can be used quickly.
Well, If you guys know what I'm talking about, I think it would be awesome.
I also want him to have his missled back.

It would be awesome if Sektor used a double-bladed lightsaber similar to that saberstaff Darth Maul used in Star Wars. Even though I've never actually been a fan of Star Wars, that weapon just seems perfect for Sektor. Plus, it'd be a great way to counter to Cyrax's use of the "Plasma Sword", or whatever they decided to name his little lightsaber thingy.

Agreed. There's that, and alternatively, he could have a laser staff of sorts, similar to what Grievous' guards used in RotS.

And as for Heat-seekers: Hell, yes. That was Sektor's signature move. But to balance them properly, they should probably move slightly slower than other projectiles.

Sektor is my most anticipated returning character, there’s something about the cyborgs that makes them instant favorites for me.

Weapon wise: I’m also for the double sided pulse blade, but the tazer bo doesn’t sound like a bad idea either. Someone even suggested a chainsaw, which I thought was a cool idea.

Storyline wise: After losing the Lin Kuei grandmaster spot to Sub-Zero and going insane producing a cyborg army in Japan, he’ll become a fierce threat to anybody, it no longer seems like he has loyalty to anyone/anything. I just hoping Sektor isn't a blowoff character this time around.

Storyline-wise Sektor has TONS of potential!!! Vs, Cyrax, vs. SubZero, a rivalry vs. Noob and Smoke... so much more!!!!!

i was thinking... and I think sektor would be cool to be one of those 2 weapon characters...
a double pulse blade sounds very interesting.. so does the chainsaw... I think sektor is one of those bloody and somewhat dirty kombatants that uses many weapons... that's why even tho I'd like weapon numbers low... I'd like Sektor to have two.

model-wise... I just hope he's not a cyrax clone.... i would NOT mind if he was a smoke clone.... I really liked his design... I just dont want him to look like Cyrax....

Moves-wise I think they wll just be copypaste from the other games... especially for a crammed game like this one

As you’ve probably already noticed, I really like Sektor lol. So this is what I think this cyborg needs;

Weapon: Like shemarx said, he should have some kind of double saber or a “futuristic” weapon or a laser type whip like from that French guy in Onimusha 3.

Special Moves: Sektor needs his classic missiles, double missiles, homing missiles, flamethrower, teleport uppercut, flaming round house kick?, a laser shot thing (how original lol)

Fighting styles: Mit Zu, and Valtudo

That’s about all I can think of right now

I really hope he has a Japanese mecha kinda design, that'd be awesome.
And for his alternate costume, I think we should finally be able to see him in his human form.

I agree with all this stuff. They're great ideas!

I love Sektor and he he has so much potential thanks to his MKTE story. hopefully it will be regarded as canon and we can see some sort of integration of his clan in the MK world.

As Kamionero said, he could have rivalries with Cyrax, Noob-Smoke and Sub-Zero. As I've said elsewhere, my only concern is that such a story would get cut short or rushed to an end with the whole armageddon plot being the main focus.

A weapon idea would see his arms transforming into some sort of dual weapon. I should think he'll have some advanced technology to play around with now, especially if he's taken over Japan!

I'd like to see the possibility of 2 swords, plasma swords. Also kind of based on the starwars idea. Star Wars Ep2, when Anakin grabs Obi Wan's Lightsaber.

We have seen many weapons in MK but never 2 swords in one caracter. (and no, 2 knives doesn't count this timetongue)

Yeah, thats a great idea, missile launcher arms or something along the lines of this. That is a very good idea man.

Thanks, dude. I have no idea what they could change into as said, but imagine if he were like the T-1000 from Terminator and his arms being blades or spears etc. Or they could fire as missiles as you said and regenerate. That'd be pretty cool.

Yeah something along the lines of Jax, when he fires the missiles out of metal arms, but much more advanced.

I could imagine that his arms would sort of transform into these new weapons with some good animation.

Well last night, as in the night before this one, MKF wrote something that took up to many caracters. So a "mod" (someone who works for this site) shortend it for him.

So when MKF looked at his post the next morning something was changed. I hope this clears a few things up for you, if you still have difficulties understanding this, please send me a Pm and i'll take to threw it step by step.

Anyway, yeah I think if they give Sektor back his homing missles they have to be balanced and not TOO cheesy but hey, he was always one of those underrated characters so I wouldn't mind him having better moves.smile

Yeah, LOL I thought that too man.Personally, I think it's badass the new look.He looks beefed up like Cyrax's look in MK:DA compared to how they used to look.Still robotic but meaner looking now all 3 of them.


Cyrax looks beefed with the wires and all, Smoke looks evil like with the Red eyes and more black rather then grey and Sektor well...if he looks anything like the concept then I can't wait to see him.

The predator/cyborg look= awesome!

Question, is that concept art official?

I'm positive I've seen that pic a month or so ago, it wasn't just added by kamidogu.com, or is it really what we can expect? Maybe something a little leaner would be good, or more demonic, but overall I wouldnt mind him looking like that.

It's weird that cyrax will be left looking like his oldschool self, they should keep his mk:da primary as his alt, and something more contemporary for his primary so he'd look more up to par with the other cyborgs.
