I think I may be the only one that doesn't really like the new concept art. He seems TOO beefy to me. He appears more like a tank than a stealthy asassin type. I hope they don't go that route as far as his moves list is concerned (think Hotaru with black blood).

Sektor was never the stealth type character. What assassin would use missile launchers in CCB for Christs sake? I am glad they did something different that the androgynuous sterile stereotype of the sleek but out of context look.

i think the bulky look for sektor will be his primary costume and the classic look for his alternate.

Well, I don't mind it personally perhaps he upgraded himself since he's technically NOT really apart of the Lin Kuei anymore.

The thing that I'm happy about is that at least like the regular oldschool palette swap ninjas, you can now tell the difference easily.

Cyrax, Sektor and Smoke now look different now then they did in MK3.

I'm curious as to what his alternate costume will look like.

Meh, if he had the prototype frawing as his primary, obviously looking clunk, he will have a slower but more powerful style. But if he had his old MK3 costume as his alt i dont think these slow moves would suit this costume, meh

His alternate costume should be him as a human, as Cyrax's was in MKDA. We've seen Cyrax's human form in two games now (MKG and DA) but still not Sektor. Seeing as this may possibly be the last game Sektor will be in, I think we should get to see him as a human.

I disagree. There's no plot-based reason for it, and part of Sektor's appeal is that while Smoke and Cyrax changed, he did not. Whereas Smoke was transformed against his will, and Cyrax presumably was selected, Sektor volunteered. Once he became a cyber-ninja, he lost his soul, and seemingly had no drive to get it back, unlike the other two. He's MK's most remorseless assassin, in that he feels nothing. Making him human would add something of a sympathetic bent to the character's profile. We don't need to see Sektor's human face - what he has now, IS his face.

Anyway, I have small issues with the concept art. It's not the bulkiness that bothers me so much as the odd hazard symbol on his chest, as well as the silver rings on his joints. There's too many of them - He kind of reminds me of a Gundam action figure. I like the slit-visor on his face, but it needs a little curve. All in all, I'd rate it a 6/10 - the concept art in MKD's krypt was better.

Yeah, that is a good point. Sektor's the only one who didn't wish to become human again...

An interesting take on it, even though he did indeed Volunteer.He WAS human once, why not express that side to him.Just because they show his human face doesn't mean it's a lighter side to him.
I picture Sektor having a really pissed off, dark look to him similar of Anakin's along with his eyes that are evil Red BEFORE his transformation to the Cyborg we all know as Sektor.
I mean, since he did volunteer willingly I can picture him already soulless IMO.
Just another view of that concept.Similar to the Darth Vader gig IMO.Anakin was already evil without remorse before his full transformation into the Darth Vader we all know in 4, 5 and 6.
I see a similar concept with Sektor.I would love to see a Sektor Mythologies honestly some day.Rain is another and Cyrax as well.

i like sektors new look (if it is it!), it really makes him stand out as an aggresser and gives that 'leader' sort of look. there is no point of him being stelthy looking as he uses more of powerful attacks (the missle for example). i see more as:

sektor = powerful/aggressive
cyrax = blend
smoke = stelthy

that just seems to make sense to me.

Yeah, that's a good observation.You know I always thought of Smoke's invisibility as his stealth move similar to predator. I wondered why the others didn't have something like that built in, not necessarily an invisibility but something like a cloak where you can still see your opponent but he blends in as oppose to just 100% invisible. Sektor should get something like that.

I agree that Sekor should be more powerful looking than Cyrax or Smoke, it just seems right. Instead of getting a human alternate however, I would like to see maybe a battle scarred Sektor alternate with a bit more of a japanese feel...( like after fighting Sub-Zero )

Honestly, I got the best alternate costume idea guys.

Hear me out for a sec, what if they gave Sektor an alternate costume where he's 50% complete as a Cyborg with human features as well yet very robotic looking and scary looking.

I mean, like wires along his face, his eyes glowing Red or something, his body mainly robotic for the most part and perhaps half his face covered with wires or a mask with his nose up showing.

Something like that I honestly think would be killer.Not 100% human form, nor 100% cyborg form.

Hmm I do kind of like that idea, make him look human but souless, however how it was pointed out they couldn't really incorperate in his story. Unless they said after an intense battle with someone he had to take off his helmet and you see his half human-cyborg face.

I've been waiting for Sektor to return. I was dissapointed that he wasn't in MKD.... Well hopefully he is playable from the start cuz I wanna play with him first.

I think I'd prefer 2 hand to hand styles for Sektor rather than him haveing a weapon for one of his styles. I think that weapon Cyrax has in MKDA is stupid, so I wouldn't want Sektor to have a dumb dual one of those being a Darth Mual rip off. Anyways I'm hopeing for 2 hand to hand styles.

I'm thinking he surely will have the missile projectile. Probably just the one that shoots straight forward and not the homeing one. I really hope he has the teleport uppercut. I hope they don't keep that move just for Smoke, or I'll be pissed.

His throw move, or one of his throw moves I want to be like in MK3.

I hope we'll be able to torch are opponents for fatality like in MK3.

Lastly, I really really hope he has none of the styles Cyrax has in MKDA, cuz Cyrax sucks in that game with horrible styles! Hope they aren't lazy and just give Sektor those styles just cuz Cyrax did have them.

As for his story... well I don't speculate.

Yeah man, definitely.I wanted him in Deception as well but glad and very happy to hear that he's in MK:A.

Another reason I can't wait.To see Sektor and Cyrax revamped =killer.

I just hope they don't stink tier wise, we will see.
