Onagu, as said in a couple sources to be the sub-bosses name, now has a meaning.
An Onagu, is a type of fish in Japan. Pulling this from the same place people got "Hotaru" which means firefly. So I'm going to draw from this, that our Sub-Boss is going to have fishy appearence.
If I have any non-believers...Go to www.google.com, Type in Onagu, and all you get is fish. Onagu is a type of fish.

Ok lets squash this once and for all. As I stated before; not only is my wife Japanese, but she also carries around one of those portable electronic Japanese dictionaries that translates and helps her speak english. I can't help her because I'm from the south and have that annoying southern accent. First, the Japanese language has different dialecs depending what part of Japan you are from. Example: My wife is Osaka (kind of south) and her friend is from Kyushu (way up north). What one word means to her does not have the same meaning to her friend. Second, the word you're referring to is onaga not onagu. Third, onaga means long tail to southern Japanese. To some parts of Japan, onaga is a shark (fish). My wife can explain the Japanese language to me for years and I still will not understand.

I thought Havik was gonna be the subboss.

Your geography of japan is a bit off!
Kyuushuu is in the south not the north,Osaka is south west but still north of Kyuushuu.
Most people in japan understand hyoujun-go(standard japanese) no matter which part of japan they are in.This is what is taught in schools. They would avoid using regional dialects when speaking to people they knew didn't understand them.
So is this character gonna look like a fish-alien from star trek then...

For the first time ever, a fatality can be performed on this boss. The fryality. A pan, salt, pepper, maybe a little tabasco, and voila! Fryality!!!

Good eye, I jotted down the info incorrectly and didn't bother to correct it. My wife's friend was born in Kyushu and lived in Misawa. And yes different regions have different meanings for words. It's the same situation here in the U.S. with our slang. Soda on the east coast means carbonated beverage. In the south (Tennessee) soda means baking soda and we have one word for all carbonaated drinks......pop or coke.

Actually didn't realise that in the states you guys had the regional differences in vocab I thought it was just accents. So I learnt something too.
Still think if they put a fish character in t gonna be based on the ones from in Star Trek Voyager or maybe was it Next Gen -fish-humanoid aliens from the future.

Onaga is also a chicken with long tail...
Could Onaga be the "skab" with the helmet and the long feathers?
