It should be common sense at this point, then, that the reason Boon said you can perform a fatality on the sub-boss is because it is a normal character (evil Liu Kang, or Baraka perhaps)

And I seriously doubt that whoever's name is Onaga actally has any relation to the meaning, ESPECIALLY because in past MK's it has never mattered.
