LLS, yea MRS is puttting something together for OUR tourny, as for a kommunity thing, it would be ezier to have something centrally located on this site.
MODS, please listen to everyone on this. An online forum is alot more needed than a Pocket kombat forum.. At least throw us a bone and give us a sticky!!! lol.. Thnx

I definitaly agree.. thnx for making a thread about this subject reptile. We do need a forum for online. for xbox, ps2, with gamertags and such. and then it would branch off to tourny section.. hopefully hosted by mko staff(which if they need help moderating, there are plenty of volunteers)...
a petition, or whatever we need.. something must be done about this.. and i don't see ANY reason NOT to have this... if it takes up website space... then delete something else.// this is something definitaly to make a sacrifice for.

I totally agree, I will get online play a little bit later(like in November) and I think that a sticky would be really useful
No doubt. Online play will probably be the biggest aspect of MK:D, so why not have a forum or a sticky thread for online play. I would love to see gamertags, tournament info, the works.

I kinda need to finally get someone to beat me in Mortal Kombat...I play PS2...I have never been beaten once I got the hang of mortal kombat games.

I totally aggree with this. Of all the fighting game forums I've been to, this is the only forum that doesn't have this feature. Not everyone in this forums wants to talk about whether Ermac is wearing tube socks or not.

I think there should have 1 sticky for PS2 online and another one for XBL.
A sticky like this would be more useful then a MKDA or a pocket kombat discussion forum...

What we need is a match making forum and a character specific forum. The match making forum could have a sticky for xbox and ps 2 casual matches etc. While there will be specific threads posted for tournies.
Then the character specific forums can have sub sections for each character, then with in those a sticked moves list, a noob killer then various other threads to discuss random gameplay pertainent to that character. The only problem is that it will prolly get flooded with garbage and spam. sad

For the life of me, i cant understand why our XBL tourney thread hasnt been Stickied as well as a PS2 tourny thread. As for the XBL thread, it hasnt left page one since its beginning for more than a few hours. Please MODS, grant us this simple request. I can understand not being able to put a whole forum in for online play (even though with the release of MKD it will be put to much more use than Pocket Kombat), but where's the trouble to sticky'n 2 threads for us??? Please consider our pleas.. Im obviously not the only one that feels this way.

very true... i mean.. like i said before... its what the people of mortal kombat want, without us, there is no mortal kombat fan site. (not to sound harsh, lol).. but yeah, the only reason i see is because of website use.. i mean i just recently saw the picture site(me in there).. thats pretty cool. but yeah.. what is mk pocket discussion?.. maybe u can stick all the unpopular forums in one or something, and save space. or at least let us know you're secretly working on this or thinking of it...//
like i said, there's plenty of us willing to help.

Also,, i mean put the tourny section aside for now.. like all of us are saying.. lets have a page of listing everyone's gamertags or at least sticky it. our ffbf xbox list is i think at least all if not half the xbox players on the mko site.
but also fairness to ps2, ... at least can we get someone from the boss's reply to this.//
also yeah reptile.. change the title to something catchy..lol.. i barely found it myself.//

I don't know much about running a website but I don't think it would be too difficult to add an extra forum. If they don't do it I can't imagine it being for any other reason than it being more work for the mods. Hopefully they'll be up for it.

yeah.. this site is great with news and everything.. and sorta a "home" for mk fans... but i think its time to move to a new phase in this project. now that mk has gone live.. definitaly time for some new featuers.

I support a match finder forum as well. It'd be nice to be able to organize online meets with people you know from here instead of playing random people all the time.
A character specifc strategy forum would be most welcome as well.
