I feel as if they are toying with us and treating us as simpletons. This was BS. How about a yes or no answer? Did we ask what they were, no. We asked are there any. Also, he claims there are time unlocks that still haven't been found, but at the same time he claimed noknowledge of the WQ issue, so how the heck would he know what has been found and what hasn't?

I think the extra characters on the disc were deliberately left in there not to be selectable to fight as and I bet the Gamecube version may get some of those characters...

I would rather wait on the release of a game and have it complete with what is promised and talked about in magazines by the creator i.e.: gamepro on 24 characters then super unlockables found way after the game is complete. Let alone leaving a bunch of items in konquest that have no purpose. Tired of this shit, the extra things not found are some bullshit like a picture of boons mom.

It would be nice if they send out a patch to make the xbox and ps2 versions have downloadable content ability and give us what was expected. The game is still awesome but I knew boon was going to screw us out of all the cool things he spoke of, he always does. Oh well, life goes on.

Well, the ninja star being useless didn't bother me much, and the keys all serve a purpose earlier in the game, but having a character tell you to use an item for a specific purpose (Kung Lao telling you to use Raiden's staff to defeat Shao Kahn) and then not having it possible to fulfill that purpose is just bad game design. That is what I found really annoying.

The fans have a right to complain. Customers have a right to complain.

If people kept eating the same shit companies fed to them, then no one would care if they got defective products (high roll over rates in SUV's) or inferior (drugs not doing what they say, or over priced from features).

Remember that the next time a product blows up on you, or just doesnt work to "not complain" and live with it.

Here are the facts. For the last few MK games we have had features which were hyped up until release, and then not until after the games have been released and sold, they say that those features were removed. Thats false advertising.

The promice of more than 24 characters are one of the reasons I purchased this game. Instead they saved alot of time not having to spend money creating another game engine, and we get one more character than we had during the previous game.

Puzzle Fighter looks like something that could be put together in a couple of months by a CS major using an existing engine. My friend does crap like that all the time with the Quake engine. Ditto with the Konquest maps. You can whip those up in a weekend. Konquest is not the massive adventure it was hyped to be.

They kept all the MK:DA cast members on the disc. Why? You can't fight all of them in Konquest mode. We know that the Gamecube version will be out in a few months. Those characters which could have been the super-unlockables are instead just going to be used as bonus game cube characters after a minor tweak.

That is bullshit. We need a cheat device just to use those characters? Same with Puzzle Fighter even though we saw movies of the other characters before release? Also bullshit.

Forgive me for being blunt, but I do think it's rather silly and childish to go ranting on and on about how Boon "failed to deliver." What, exactly, did he fail to deliver? Did he promise Rain, Reiko, Shao Kahn, Sektor, etc? No. He promised Super Unlockables. And, you know what? They're there. They're called Liu Kang and Raiden. I've seen similar temper tantrums with the great and glorious Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time game. There was a rumor that you could get the Tri-Force, and when it was revealed you can't, some fans said that they were cheated. Cheated out of what? Similarly, MK:D is a superb fighting game much superior than MK:DA, yet, despite that fact, you still grow upset over the fact that what you HOPED was going to be in included with the game wasn't. If anyone's to blame, it's the fans for letting their hopes and emotions get out of control. If you're that desperate to play as Kitana, get a Codebreaker. Or, if you really want, get the Gamecube version (like I'm now going to wait and do. Patience pays off.) Still, you get arguably the best MK game EVER (MKII not-with-standing), and easily the best MK game in over 10 years, and yet you trash talk the creators like the entire thing was a well-thought out scheme. Well, guess what? They didn't call it MK: DECEPTION for nothing. You guys pulled it off better than I could have imagined you would. Fatality.

About the staff, Brian LeBaron said that it was an item you return to Kai to get a reward, which isn't true of course. You get it from Kai. So that makes me wonder if any of what they said was true.

Also, they said early on that they visit MKO all the time, and then act ignorant of things like colored keys, and the WQ coffin - two things that have been discussed to death here.

Basically, I think they were happy to discuss game development and plug their future games, but didn't want to give any real clues about this game. I personally think we are right back were we started before Fight NIght... in regards to secrets for MKD anyway.

The Main menu is the screen with the options on it, not the select screen, etc, so he isn't lying. How blind are most of you? Could he have meant select screen? Possibly, but I think he meant EXACTLY what he said.

the thing is that most of the people who buy the game there not on the forums
. these are the people that are not like us the real mk fans the ones who want the secret characters and all the hidden stuff. the majortiy of people who buy this game are people who see the adds for this game in the gamepro magazines. and there just buying the game for faytalities and stuff. not hidden stuff. they play the game oblivious to the secrets in the game, they just wanna see blood. and thats why ed boon could lie to us cause where the ones looking for the secrets and we're are only about 15% or alittle more of the majortiy that buys mk games for the secrets, and that goes on gamestop to check up on the game or hear the interview from ed boon and where the only ones who are getting lied to the other majority just wait for the fucking game to come out and thats it. and the fact is we would never be heard unless we do somthing about we would just keep getting lied to and lied to game after game after game, for pointless reasons. i mean we are the people who make ed boon and give them money and we are sitting here and taking his bullshit lies and still supporting his fuck ass. we need to speek up and do somthing about this i think we should all email midway about there false advertisment. fuckin jokers.
