I'll get to my thoughts on the whole transcript in a bit but I do want to say something first. And much like a lot of the things I say, it may not make me "popular" amonst some of the members, but it's something that must be said.
I find it oddly amusing that a good portion of the people that are upset(not all, but a good portion) with MK:D Fight Night results are the same people who would snap at the drop of a hat the last few days when anyone would critique to game and dismiss the so-called "clues" for SUs.
Now that that's off of my chest, on to my thoughts on Fight Night.
The development team did exactly what I expected them too. Anyone who thought they were just going to be upfront and honest about everything in the game is simply naive.Of course they are going to be vague and trail everyone along. The little things like "The old lady at midnight", "ORderrealm at 5:00am", and "FOV 120" may prove do be something, but chances are they aren't anything that special.
Secondly, there weren't that many good questions asked. I liked Shingo's question about hacking the games and the leaked info on the internet and such, but there was just to much talk trying to find secrets. Infact, the only "secret" that I had intrest in was the WQ koffin. I would have liked to see someone openly critique the fighting system; the use of filler characters ( ex.Darrius, Kobra); the change in the fatalities (from anywhere, to certain distances); and so on and so on.
In the end what am I left with: a $60 game, that although has it's flaws, it was still enjoyable. I'm more disapointed with Brady Game's guide more so than I am with anything in the game.
Ohh one more thing. Thank god it's over. Now that fight night is out of the way most of the n00bs should start to leave, and maybe this board won't be so clustered......Well back to the General Discussion board I go
