Not likely...supposedly it's supposed to be spectacular and worth watching before playing the game...so I think they may keep that under wraps until the game is released. But who knows? Weirder things have happened. *shrugs*

They shouldn't release it until the game comes out. The hype about the rumors about it is one of the things keeping it in people's minds. Does Raiden and/or Kitana die in it? Does Kitana get kidnapped by the Dragon King?

Note: I hope, pray and hope some more the rumor of Raiden's death proves false.

A few Months ago some rumors started about Rayden being in MKD but dying in the Intro...
The absence of Kitana would be explain by her being trapped in an donjon, hence her Mother comming after her...

But this is only speculation, could be true, could not be.

In my opinion, Rayden could die, for the twist in the game... plus is good moves have been transfered to Ashrah allready!

Raiden: He's been in practically all the games, so it might be time for him to die, plus it would show everyone how strong the DK is, and it would add an aura of hopelessness, I mean, without they're guardian, Earthrealm is lost, right?

Kitana: I never liked her in the first place, and odds are that she will either be kidnapped by the DK or murdered by someone else (odds are that the dragon king wouldn't waste his time trying to kill Kitana himself when he's got other things to worry about) maybe Noob, since he killed Goro, it might earn him some respect if he kills Kitana too. Plus it clears the way for Mileena and Sindel trying to get control of the throne, Sindel good, Mileena bad.

There was no Raiden in MK3/UMK3. This is one of the reasons I never did like that game. Besides Raiden's death would be too much like Liu Kang's.

Well aparently the CGI is supposed to be way better than in DA...and also It's gonna be really long...2 parts I believe was said.

There was a trailer first thought of, where Rayden was going to die, killed by the deadly alliance.

I was informed this would eventually change, and it seems this idea was never used.

I was the one who revealed the reason about Kitana’s absence, and so far, that’s the plan they have for her. Early ideas were not used, and I was told that 1 of them was Kitana’s death. She was going to die, and although this idea has not been completely thrown to the garbage yet, I doubt it will happen.

So far, Rayden is still alive, and Kitana is captured, not dead yet.

Here is an idea.

They begin by showing Kung Lao kicking both Shang Tsung and Quan Chi's butt and they are defeated. Then Raiden starts talking about the battle earthrelm had won but mentions after a battle has won another one has begun. Then they show Reptile in the DK cave looking and then they show the egg hatch and Reptile turning into the DK. Then Raiden talks about the DK and then also says the DK had resurected Mortal Kombat Champion Liu Kang to do his bidding and then talks about what has to be done or its too late.

i dont like the idea of saying that person has been in almost all the games, he should die. Sub has been in every single game. But anyways who said some one was going to die in the opening? How do we know Kitana and Raiden are not both in it?

The Sub-zero right now has been in all MK games but 1( the 1st MK ):.P . I for one wouldn't mind that the MK: Deception opening movie came to light. As I see unlike most peoplehere that have posted on this thread they aren't ones for spoilers , I am one for spoilers. In both games and movies I love spoilers. MK: Deception is no different. I really want to know what happened not only to the deadly Alliance ,but others as well( I hope the trailer show what happened to others from MK: DA as well).

well Frost Sub-Zero has been in Everygame if u dont go by the Storyline... i mean they were both the same.... yknow what i mean

I hope they don't release it before MKD comes out. I doubt they will, but ya never know. If they do I still wont watch it.

I'm excited about it though, as it sounds as though it will be great - maybe even better than DA's!! Hopefully it will be, as here is a quote from Boon:

It's going to take something away the game if either one of those characters dies. Raiden should just be an observer for this time.. I don't want him to die. Raiden had rules where he couldn't always participate (such as Outworld) but Liu Kang never had that formality so he HAD to die. I would rather see them just not participate (like the prison idea) for the time being...

I remember reading that Boon and them didn;t want to do the same thing for the intro as they did for DA that the beginning intro's gonna be different??? I read this like a month ago so don't ask where I think I also read that the elder gods get fed up with Raiden and he has to give up him powers or his status as god if he wants to help the earth?? IDK if this is true but if it is it would be like MK ANIHLATION. Who knows and if raiden does die I believe it will be his ending not the intro. IDK tho

I dont want it until the game comes out. and i hope they do what they did in MKDA and tell a story and things that happend that you didnt know about until you see the movie.
