yeah, itd be cool. i thought of that quite a while back too but it sounds like they were killed probably trying to protect their respective realms or they might've ran away (do not love their realms as much as raiden does earth...) since raiden's character is built up like he would sacrifice a lot for earth realm...

a protector is a supposidly a powerful being someone to fight off these things trying to tak over the earth realm, the person for that must be strong and willing to die for it if he/she has to
but what i dont understand is why is Raiden this high and powerful God of Thunder that can kill em all if he wanted to and can up-hold the future of the earth realm, why is he fighting ina tournament trying to defend that? If he is that powerful why put him in there and if he is in there then get a new Protector

the reason why Raiden fought in the tournament was because Shao Kahn already conqered the earth realm right behind raidens back. by the time raiden found out he couldent do shit about it, he went to the elder gods and tried to do something about shao kahn but the elder gods said they couldent do shit, raiden got pissed and was like okay, im not gonna be a god now and i wanna fight in that tournament. so thats why raiden was fightin. i think i broke that down enough so nobody has to ask questions lol.

as for the other thing, i've never seen a god for the other realms. i always thought the protecter of edenia was kitana and sindel. and shao kahn was the outworld's.

Nitara seems to have some sort of role as a protector or preserver of her realm. Why else would she go through all the trouble to get the orb? She wanted her realm back. I think we'll see more vampires in MK6 out to defend their realm and maybe even attacking others.

the guardian for Edenia could be Jerrod's (kitana's dad) ghost... he ddid have cool powers...
