I'm so sick of Liu Kang. Although to be honest I'd be happy if neither made it.

I want Kang to be in it. As long as the totally change his look. But still have him Asian of course.

I want them both in. I think they're awesome. Another reason I want them in, though, is that I don't want to see 15 ninjas and a bunch of 1 or 2 game rejects in this game (like most of you who are complaining about these two).

both are iconic characters,i really prefer to delete Sindel if she is really going to return.

Kang is in. He is the definitive MK hero in exactly the same way Shang Tsung is the definitive villain of the series.

Johnny Cage should be in only if he has his nut punch. Mostly because the idea of smackin' Superman in the nads rules.

I would have to agree with you. I'd prefer a vast number of the cast in the game over Kang and Cage but I do see Kang making it into the game.

I want Cage in, they need to just completely kill off Liu and leave him dead and not a zombie.

Well that says it all. Of all the characters Liu is one of the most if not the most iconic mk character ever.

Even though I got tired of Liu saving the world every single game, they're both fucking awsome and they're both going to be in MK vs DC so this thread is pointless.

Kang is a lot more serious, better fighter and way more popular and iconic then Cage ever will be.

The only reason Cage will(sadly) be in MK8 is because he's existed since MK1... lol

I never really liked Johnny Cage but i'm getting sick of Liu Kang. I kinda only liked Kang in 1-3. i don't like his dead appearance. So i would be happy that neither will make it but i HIGHLY doubt it and i think both with make it in. Just because they are iconic characters and here since MK:1.

How do you know that Shang Tsung is the definitive villain of the series?? Isn't Shao Kahn a lot more of an evil guy? I mean, he is the boss of bosses.

Anyways, on topic, I prefer Johnny Cage. I want him to be the main hero. I never liked him until Armageddon, but since I liked his bio for Armageddon, I want him to step up and be the main hero.

No doubt Liu Kang is more iconical, though. He's got his own game, but Johnny Cage is one of the most known MK characters as well.

Liu Kang seems obvious, bhut it might depend on when this game is set. if its set during the events of MKDA or MKD or in between thsoe periods, he might not make it. But he is the obvious hero of the series so Id say hes got about a 95% chance of being in.

Cage is popular in his own right, but I just dont think he is as iconic as Liu Kang. Just because they both were in the original game doesnt mean they are iconic. Both became stale boring characters and some of the newer character are more refreshing than both of them.

From the two Id choose Johnny Cage.

Otherwise, I don't care too much for either. The best thing to happen to Liu Kang was being double-teamed by Quan Chi and Shang Tsung, in my opinion.
