I think that MK saga should end with great victory of Shao Kahn and his dark army. He should destroy Earth, kill Rayden and become ultimate ruler of all worlds.

It should end with the defeat of outworld and the earthrelm take control and hand it all to Kitana and Sindel.

It should end with the defeat of Kahn or the DK or whoever, with Rayden taking his spot as Elder God. Leaving Scorpion(of course) as Guardian of Earth.

All of the portals that lead to other realms get destroyed after the Dragon King dies. The Earth warriors rush to safetey but not all could make it, Bo Rai Cho with alot of courage stayed behind as he helped the remaining Earth warriors back into Earth. The portal closed leaving him in the native Outworld forever.

On Earth Liu Kang and Raiden bid farewell to all of the Earth Warriors after their celebration. as both he and Raiden rise to the heavens together, Raiden becomes an Elder God and Liu Kang resigns his championship to Kung Lao, the direct descendent of the original champion.

Scorpion fights Quan Chi in a battle to the death and in the end Scorpion kills the sorceror. Scorpion begins to get his human memories back and had done his deal with his demons. Scorpion in his allegience to the Elder Gods is given a chance to be reunited with his family. Scorpions deformed corpse reverts back to his former self in spirit form as he descends to the heavens.

Sonya fights Kano one last time in Outworld and Sonya becomes enraged when Kano sacrificed her partner Jax and had Jax get devoured to fuel the Dragon King in their last stand. Sonya brings up enough strenght to kill Kano and end their grudge forever. Sonya returns to Earth and is considered a hero for her help on bringing the destrution of the Dragon King. Sonya retires from her profession of the Special Forces and begins to live a normal life on Earth.

Johnny Cage retires from his acting career and from all of his profits that he made during his movies. Johnny Cage funds many foundations on the reconstruction of Earth along with the fundings on restoring the Mortal Kombat tournament how it originaly was before Shang Tsung corrupted it.

Sub-Zero returns to Earth with the surviving Lin Kuei warriors and they celebrate on their victory. Sub-Zero's powers from the Dragon Medalion and he is considered to be godlike, before Raiden returns to the heavens he appoints Sub-Zero the new protecter of Earthrealm as god of Ice.

Kitana and Sindel managed to escape to their portal in Edenia. Because of her brave actions Sindel appoints Kitana as the new queen of Edenia. Sindel falls ill years later and passes on to the heavens, she is considered an icon to all the people of Edenia. Kitana falls in love with a new man and they start a new royal blood line that would rule Edenia forever.

In the end all of these brave warriors grow old and pass on to the heavens. The Mortal Kombat tournament had regained it's restored honor and all of these warriors are considered legends. These warriors have created a new Era that is filled with a new generation of fighters. It now is time for the 11th Mortal Kombat tournament in their honor.

Now that's what I call an ending for MK.

After the whole fiasco and his brush with death, Liu Kang realizes that all he wanted was a life with Kitana. He abandons his title as Champion of Mortal Kombat and accepts Kitana's offer of being king of Edenia. He gives the championship title to his friend, Kung Lao, who deserves it.

After his defiance of the Heavens, Raiden is turned into a mortal. But then when he helps save the Earth once and for all, they offer him back his immortality and even offer to grant him more power in apology. Raiden accepts and becomes the greatest of the Elder Gods.

When the ultimate evil (whatever that will be) is defeated, souls are temporarily reunited with their loved ones before they must ascend to the Heavens. During this time, the old Sub-Zero, the young Sub-Zero, and Scorpion are all reunited. Scorpion and the old Sub-Zero make peace with eachother, both apologizing to one another, realizing that all of their wrongdoing was due to serving masters and lies within their own hearts. Old Sub-Zero also tells Young Sub-Zero that he has grown since he last saw him, and is proud of his accomplishments, and the younger brother tells him he misses him. Then, the old Sub-Zero and Scorpion go to the Heavens. Sareena also follows them, to be reunited with Sub-Zero. Scorpion is reunited with his family.

Endings for the characters that die in combat.

Mileena captures her twin sister Kitana in reasons ofher own twisted ways in torturing. Mileena had been the outcast and Kitana had always remained the most loved, Mileena had never been loved only by monsters. Upon Baraka's betrayal Mileena beat him and thought she had killed him. Mileena confronted her twin and would make this her final encounter with her. Mileena had intentions on killing Kitana but Kitana struck Mileena with emotions when she gave her heart and apology from causing all of the pain she had to endure. Mileena had released Kitana of her captivity but before the two could bond Mileena was impaled through the chest by Baraka. Kitana had been enraged at the death of Mileena whom never had a chance to see the ways of light. Kitana faced Baraka in a single battle to the death. Kitana unleased a rage of fury upon Baraka and killed him by decapitating the monster with her fans. Sindel had caught up with Kitana before the final confrontation with Earth's warriors and the Dragon King.

Scorpion had been resurected once again to complete his quest for revenge. Knowing that Scorpion had returned Drahmin was on the search for Scorpion but upon doing so had been captured by the Dragon King. Drahmin would not be corrupted by the power of the Dragon King and would eventually be torn apart limb from limb by the Dragon King's soldiers who had overwhelmed him in number. Drahmin returned to the 5th plane of the Netherealm. After the defeat of the Dragon King Drahmin will remain there for all of eternity.

Kenshi and Ermac had been surrounded and overwhelmed by the Dragon King's soldiers during the final battle against the Dragon King. Kenshi and Ermac were struggling for their lives as the viciously struck down each opponent that attacked them. Kenshi had been struck in the head by one of the soldiers and fell onto his knees. One of the soldiers would have struck a pole axe down upon Kenshi's head but Ermac had rushed in right before the blade struck down on Kenshi. Ermac threw Kenshi out of harms way and dealt with the Dragon King's soldier on his own. Ermac had fought bravely but the odds were stacked down upon him, Kenshi resisted to abandon his friend but was forced to by the final words of Ermac "Live to fight another day, in the name of your anscestors carry on the name of Kenshi!". Ermac had fought bravely and was believed to have died with honor as Kenshi fled to the remaining Earth warriors. There in nothing known about the whereabouts of the spirits of Ermac.

Smoke, he had traveled with his old friend Sub-Zero along with a unit of the Lin Kuei in Outworld. Smoke had his own inner demons to battle along his fight with the entire struggle for the realms. Smoke had abandoned Sub-Zero due to his own inner reasons, Smoke had thought about self destructing knowing that he would never become human again. While Sub-Zero was fighting in the final battle with the Dragon King, Sub-Zero and his units were being driven back by the tremendous power the King possesed. Each Lin Kuei warrior was being slaughtered by the massive strikes the Dragon King was reigning upon them. Things were looking grim for Sub-Zero but in a swift movement and god like bravery and strength Smoke drove back the Dragon King to give Sub-Zero and the other Earth warriors to charge their powers and unleash hell on the King. Smoke held on for as long as he could while he endured a massive beating by the Dragon King. Smoke's armored body had been crushed but before the Dragon King could finsish off Smoke, the Lin Kuei warrior had self destructed which blew the Dragon King's arm off and removed one of his eyes. In front of Sub-Zero's own two eyes he had lost an old comrade but relized that the Dragon King had a weakness. Sub-Zero gave commands out to all of the Earth's warriors and the Lin Kuei as they charged head on against the massive Dragon King. In a long heated and enduring battle with the Dragon King, The Earth's warriors managed to slay the King and revert the Outworld back to normal and which sparked the destruction of the portals and put evil back into its own place.

Honestly some of ur endings are good and all but your saying the defeat of the dragon king that would mean no MK7. Why end this game its awesome let em end the way they want it. If I no Midway it will go out good. But I would like to see more MK's lol. Especially see a MK when they get a new high graphic system out like the PS3 lol.
Also the fighting wouldn;t end by the elder gods think at the beginning of MKDA it says "Mortal KOmbat Always has and always will be"

Also I read last night they believe the end is mortal Kombat 7 because there saving the multiplayer or 4 player kombat untill then you know the Kombat that was in Mortal Kombat Tournament

First I am going to say that I hope Mortal Kombat never ends, although I know it will eventually. Second I would have to say that I would hope that either the Dragon King or Shao Kahn would take over Earthrealm and destroy it, and Raiden would be killed.

At the end of Mortal Kombat 10 or 11, something strange starts happening in Outworld. Nobody, not even Raiden knows what's going on.

Then, the Elder Gods appear and explain it. Earthrealm has won 10 straight Mortak Kombats; even though it's no longer a tournament, and Earthrealm was defending itself, the rules still apply. Thus, Earthrealm and Outworld merge.

Everybody goes back to their homes to straighten things out, leaving Raiden alone. Then, Shao Kahn appears before Raiden, laughing and says that this was part of his plan. After his defeat in MK3, Shao Kahn realized that he wouldn't be able to defeat Earth in fair kombat, so he decided to make it so the Earth won 10 Mortal Kombats. The realms would merge, and would be simple to conquer.

Raiden tries to stop Kahn, but is defeated and forced to watch as Kahn kills the warriors of Earthrealm just like they were killed in MK:Conquest. He then finishes Raiden, for good measure. Nothing can be done as Kahn conquers the Earth. He then continues to conquer realms from his new Outworld.

Depressing, yes, but this is not a game that would work well with a happy ending.

Liu Kang's spirit moves on to Heaven leaving Kung Lao to take his place as champion of Mortal Kombat.

Rayden dies in battle leaving Fujin to be the Guardian of Earth.

Sindel dies heroically to save Edenia leaving Kitana to become queen. She also falls in love with Rain and he becomes king.

Scorpion finally destroys Quan Chi and finally chooses to help the Earth fighters. In doing so, he is granted his old body and he goes to Heaven to reunite with his wife and child.

Noob Saibot survives. He returns to Netherealm and becomes it's ruler.

Sareena, despite not being trusted by anyone, helps the Earth fighters win. As a reward, Fujin grants her a soul and she is finally free from the Netherealm.

Reiko walks into a portal and is never seen again.

Shang Tsung is killed bu Kung Lao.

Jax is killed by Mavado.

Kabal kills Mavado.

Kano is killed by Sonya.

Sonya and Johnny Cage marry.

The Elder Gods have had enough of all the treachery that has plagued the tournament ever since Shang Tsung entered and won many years ago. They claim that the bending of the rules to conquer all realms by the likes of Tsung, Shao Kahn, Shinnok and maybe by then the DK, must stop and there is only one way to finish this. The elder's ask the ruler/protector of each of the known realms - Earthrealm, Outworld, Netherealm, Shokan, Vampire, Edenia, Zaterra to enter their 3 best fighters. This will begin a 21 fighter tournament with three arenas per realm, with the winner gaining control for their realm of all the known realms, thus ending the conflicts once and for all...
