I really hate to get technical.. but, look at the blood splatters...

Theres a blood splatter right next to the guy in red.. unless that swing of the weapon brings forward lots of blood in the direction of the flow, toward the player, the result from Miss Abnormal, as you've put it, is deffenately a result.

The color of blood doesnt determine these things, blood color isnt a important enough factor, they could start making cyrax bleed red and Ill bet no one would really give a shit about it.

Like I said in another thread, Ermac is a forgery of souls. That green fluid we're seeing may very well be green ectoplasm. This makes perfect sense to me, since souls are bright green in MK.

But I'm not saying it's Ermac, but it would make sense if it was.

Judging from his boots, and seeing that green jewel placed there i'm speculating that the red ninja seen in the video trailer is Ermac.

Kenshi's storyline in Deadly Alliance mentioned that Ermac had taught him the technique of Telepothy. If Ermac were to return i'd say say that he would be involved in Kenshi's storyline.

As for the green blood, Ermac is not human therefore he dosen't have to bleed red. Ermac is a warrior composed of dead spirits of warriors, he was introduced as being a power that was controlled by Shao Kahn, to see information on Ermac go to the warehouse section of this site and look for yourself, then speculate whether or not he could bleed different colors.

if it is indeed blood, it's very likely that it's not mileena's. if you look at the other caps with mileena in them, all the blood on the ground is red.

Could it be acid? I know historically that neither Ermac, nor Mileena use acid-based attacks, and there does not seem to be another source of acid on the stage, but it makes as much sense as either one of them bleeding green.

Finally, I can make myself Useful!!! If you guys go to midway.com and download the Mk Trailer, you will see that its in fact, not mileenas blood. Mileenas blood is red because in her fight with baraka, he cuts her with his blades and red blood squirts out of her stomach.

Now as for the green stuff, this obviously points to ermac, as he is nothing but a collection of souls.

I agree that the green splatter could be "souls" so to speak. Maybe the souls he consumes go into his body and make him stronger by adding to his physical form, but when it gets knocked out of him, it changes back to soul-ish stuff?

I think if that is Ermac, then he could have led Kenshi to Shang Tsung and when the souls flew out of him, Ermac sprung into action and gained the souls as his own, and left an good and bad fighter dead. It goes with the theme of deception. How interesting would it be if Ermac stole the souls of the Dragon King's army and left the DK (in Reptile's body without an army) and that turned Dragon King against Quan Chi
