Don't make a post to beg him to put all of your favorites in. He was good enough to put the best people in and most of our old favs(Sektor, Baraka, Kabal, Smoke, Ermac, Mileena etc.) we dont need every ninja in the game. Cyrax isn't in MK:D and he's my fav character but you don't see me complaining. Don't let one character ruin the game.

story for rain.
after fighting in mortal kombat three. rain went into hiding on outword. after betraying shao kahn he feared for his life. in out world he thought about what kitana had told him. about being a edenian and shao kahn destroyed their world. during the threat of shinnok and the deadly alliance rain has been training. pushing himslef to the limit he is now able to control the weather( rain, lightning,hail, strong winds) so after hearing about shao kahn being taken out. he leaves outworld in search for kitana or raiden. he wants a new purpose in life. being the god of weather..or just being the new earth protecter. as he leaves out world he enter earth realm only to find the earth realm warriors fighting the forces of darkness and also a new threat has awakened the dragon king..so he thinks to him self he needs to prove himself to the elder gds and the earthrealm warriors this is the only chance he has at a new purpose in life

Attack- lightning strike( just knocks oppenent down)
water lift and slam ( a water spout come up from under the ememy shoots them up in the air and the water slams them back down)
water projectile (shoots water ball)

Weapon-Whip?? ( every time u use it you hear thunder in the background)

Fatality#1- waterfall- drops a huge waterfall on the oppenent rips oppenent apart..arean is soaked.
fatalit#2- lightning storm- strikes oppenent with large voltage of electricity from the sky..( oppenent either explodes or id just ripped apart..body parts left on arena id ripped apart.

costume- purple vest (similar to that of unmasked sub-zero in mk 3. black pants with rains symbol on the side. black boots with purple lining. short black hair. mask similar to mavados alternate costume in mortalk kombat deadly alliance. black gloves with purple lining. and add the thing that covered the ninjas crotch area in mk3( the thing that hangs off the waist covers crotch)

Rain was definatly one of my more favorite characters in the game, but even if they don't put him in the game(I'm doubting it, but I can see it happening if that makes sense) we still get to see him in konquest *kirby dances*

I see no reason on why rain should even return in deception. I considered him as a filler in umk3 and his roundhouse kick wouldn't look right in deception.

I would like to see others return instead of rain.

i kno the round house kick wouldntlook right thats y i didnt put it in as a new attack. but maybe they can make it so that the opponent go flying across the arena.

i hope you all realize that if rain does return he's just going to have other people's styles like blaze and probably his lightning, water ball, and super roundhouse

wut r u talkin about rain was the best in mk3. yes jis story was a lil cheezy but it worked.

i think if rain did come back his roundhouse would be a good 3d attack

Rain was alright, id much rather have Ermac & Noob which we got so i wouldent mind seeing Rain as long as he didnt look like a traditional Ninja and had a better story and moves and fatals

I'd rather see a completely new character then to see Rain return. He was allright at best.

I think Rain had one of the best potential storylienes in UMK3. Not only that, but he was considered a top-tier player with his attacks. I hope he comes back so I can kick ass online

he did..and in mk3 they left is opening for a sequal

Well, I''m a fan, and I didn't want Sektor back. I also don't want Rain back. Who is/are this "we," of which you speak?

so before the water hits rain he turns himslef into a puddle and materializes in the water..(similar to the liquid metal guy from terminator judgement day) so then the areana is soaked and u see only a few body parts. maybe just an arm or a leg ..and your see a couple of puddles. and u see 1 big puddle and it rises up to form rain.

the people in this thread that wouldnt mind seeing rain again. the 1s that thought he had potential

or..he can have the waterfall go around him him since he can control water. he can do it moses style lol.
