Although petitions in general don't work, this one is a dead cause. They would have most likely implemented him already, and if they haven't, you'll have to wait till MK7. If they don't have time to create an online tournament mode, they sure as hell don't have time to create a new model for Rain!

Why is every one on this board pissed off all the time. I cant help but notice in every single post that is made in a thread its just bashing on the topic or the person that created it. You know it would be a lot better if you just talked about the subject. Anyways everyone is saying that rain was just a filler. Well if thats true then Scorpion was just a filler to sub-zero in mk1. Reptile was a filler in mk2. Smoke and Cyrax were fillers in Mk3...and on and on. Rain was not a filler he was a thought out character and had some decent attacks. My vote is going to go in as Yes bring back Rain as playable!

In an interview Boon was talking about Konquest and he menthoned that every MK character will make an apperance in Konquest we all know this. In this interview thou he points out Rain saying Rain from MKT will even make an apperance. Now why would he go on to say Rain will make an apperance after hes already that EVERY character will make an apperance, unless Rain has more of a part in MK:D (him being unlockable for play). It would make sense seeing as how theirs such a big fan base for this character and not only that but hes fits right in to the storyline what with kitana missing and sindel back to find her. I think Rain will return in MK:D wait and see.

Scorpion and Sub-Zero weren't fillers, they were originals that have been in MK since day one.

As for Rain, please stop begging to put him in the game. The only reason why they put him is because they hadn't used purple yet.

His moves, story and look were crap, get over it.

Smoke: Travelled along with Sub-Zero to the Outworld tournament. Returned with him afterwards, and fled with him once the Lin Kuei began automating their ninjas. Captured, transformed into soulless assassin, sent to kill his former friend. Learns he still has a soul, helps Sub-Zero fight Cyrax and Sektor. Disappears into the shadows, possibly to try and cope with his new painful existence.

Don't know about you, but I personally think that's a great tale of friendship and suffering.

Rain: Edenian who went missing long ago, but resurfaced working for Kahn. Assuming his ending happened, learned his father was killed by Kahn. Went on a suicide mission to take down Kahn. Obviously failed, since Kahn is still alive during MKD.

Actually in MY OPINION, I view Rain as a better character then most of the ninjas in terms of moves, and storyline. Just because you dont like him doesnt mean you can call it crap. and please dont state it as a fact either, it just makes you look stupid.

What I meant to say was that Scorpion was just a pallete-swap of sub-zero in the first game. Same thing with reptile. and that has continued throughout the seiries until Deadly aliance.

Sure, I wont argue with the fact that Scorpion and Reptile are classics, they deserve that status. But im just trying to say every ninja besides sub-zero is just a pallete swap. So if ninjas like noob and ermac are given a chance in 3d, why not my favorite, Rain?

Im gonna ask you why you are comparing Rains one game developed storyline to Scorpions and Smokes which have taken multiple games just for their pitiful stories to have been put together. In the first game Scorpion was only out for Revenge because Sub-zero kill him. SOUNDS LIKE SHIT TO ME, but I still gave him a chance. 5 games later his story still sucks imo, the only things being changed are that hes after someone else.

Well I still think his story is potentially better and I stand by that.
