Anyway, I don't think Rain will return for MKD, although with the massive fan response he's getting due to his absence, I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to budget him in the game at the last minute. I promise you, if he's not in MKD, he'll be in MK7.

NOW heres where I step in and say FUCK THAT. if your gonna kill off a character after only one game, then everyone including Scorpion, Johnny Cage, Liu Kang, KANO, and anyone else im forgetting should die and stay dead. Rain should be given another chance.

im not being greedy. alot of people want to see rain. im just some1 thats growing some balls and askin the man himself. and rain isnt dead. he went into hiding because he got scared of what shoa kahn would do to him. its corny cuz he was online in 1 game and he had so much potential. every character desrves a second chance. even sheeva?im change this thread to a petition.

Rain wasn't in MK3 or UMK3 (Arcade Versions). Rain sucks. He was just a fill in for MK Trilogy.

No, because in the end, Boon makes the decisions, sure he's going to listen to the fans, but we can't just beg to get a character in MK.

Rain's ending stated that he went on a suicide mission to try and stop Kahn. Although we are well aware that his ending probably did not happen, elements from it could very well have. I assume personally that he is dead.

I agree that if he is, he should remain so. He and Sheeva can be the first characters ever to die and stay that way. I never liked him.

Dont say 'Boon never said that or if not boon, someone from his team', because the article is somewhere on this site. Look @ the news archive from a couple weeks ago, around May.
