The online features are just a bonus to the game though. Its like Alien vs Predator for example (or any other FPS game), the multiplayer isn't necessary to the game, but its a nice extra. If MK6 was being created as an online game first, then I could understand your reasoning.

I don't think online is their main focuse. If the online mode was their main focus they wouldn't be including an Konquest mode, Adventure Mode, and Arcade Mode. Those three modes right there and with there a big chance for the Krypt to return, there is going to be tons of single player replay value in MK6. Judging by the trailer too, it seems they are going with a heavy focuse on the story as well. So online more or less is going to be there just for the sake of it as an bounus for those with access to get online. If they do put a heavier emphasis on the online componenet though, they are going to lose a lot of fans.

think its time to send the petition to midway as theri final decision is coming.

while i do admire you guys for trying it is incredibly futile, ive never known a decision to be changed/reversed through a petition. Midway are a business first and foremost, if they think theyll make a loss by marketing mkd on the gc then they wont take the risk.

the only time ive ever thought ive seen a petition work was with family guy, when people heard that got cancelled there was a HUGE petition, when they heard it is to be restarted they all thought it was the petition, when infact it was the amazingly high dvd sales.

its not nintendo..according to igncube they were prepared for mk:d but midway is being the stupid one by not makin the game for gc...to me that is like jumping off a very high building without a parachute...midway will die before nintendo ever will and if they dont make mk:d for gc they will already be lookin for new jobs...

The MKO staff has collectively agreed not to allow GameCube petitions on the forums. The reason for this being that they often to lead to flame attacks, and sometimes solicit users for email/mail addresses which is something we really prefer to not be part of. Additionally, this thread is quite old ... therefore, I will be closing it.
