well i pick sindel over and over. sorry if that pisses u off, but i have fun doing so..

I find it more annoying actually. I just like to see things changed up a bit. If I want to see characters picked over and over... then I'd play MK1 or something. It's a great way to become better with some character in particular... but does that mean your doing it because you want a better record? I could careless what my record is.
What annoys me the most is when the opponent won't pick the same character until you pick urs. Ugghh... just makes me want to go buy a headset... but I won't... I won't give in!

You know what SS? I really don't mind if someone picks the same character over and over. If someone's good with that character and is winning most of the matches, it's good for me cause I can learn someone's tendancies and eventually, I'll find a character to beat him or her's main character. Then I'll always use that character against the other persons and give em a taste of their own medicine.

I don't care if someone picks the same person over and over again, cause then I pick the same person I beat them with everytime they pick that person. But if they're some cheap ass and pick, for example, Kobra and use him the cheap way, I'll pick Kabal and be cheap with him. See I'm fair, you be cheap with me and I'll be cheap with you.

ugh... I never knew people would flip when responding to this post. LOL. wow... the things you learn about internet teenagers. I DO want to play... I just get a little upset when people pick the same character. End of story, reply nicely, or not at all.

If you want people to switch their fighters mop the floor with them. Then they will decide that this character doesnt cut it against yours and pick another. Alas, since you are no good you can not do this. But then if you were good, you wouldnt have this problem....what a dilema.

Though I sometimes like to switch my characters around, I usually stick to who I'm good with, and who I'm good with happens to be Kira and Sindel. Even if I lose, I'll go down knowing that I had the opportunity to put up a good fight. At times, I'll pick a character who's got a Style Branch Combo that goes through all three of his/her fighting styles just so I can sucker someone into using up all of his/her breakers in one round, giving me the upper hand when they fuck up and I get smart on them.

One of the top. You sound like one of the top whinners. I bet you ill dishragg you over and over and guess what with the same character oh my god yes the same character. If you even manage to beat my main character once ill switch to the many other characters i use. My hand is Noobe challenge me if you dare.

I understand when people play as the same character because they suck with anyone else. But they bore me, so I'll usually only play them three times. Especially you silly and predictable Noob-Smoke players.

GOOD GAWD, stop playing video games for a while. It's affecting your grammar greatly! Plus I couldn't really understand what you were trying to say... something about Noobe? Pick the same character if you want... master one single character, while I'll be mastering many. But then again I'm not playing 24/7, so I guess you’ll always have the upper hand. I hate when people use Kobra or Scorpion repeatedly, any other character is okay...Oh, and Kenshi, he's kinda cheap too. I usually use a different character every round unless they keep picking the same character, then I'll pick the same one that I did the round before.

No offense, but what a bunch of whiners. It's a game. You pick who you like, who you are good with. If it is just one player, so be it. I'm not one of them but if that is what somebody does, who cares? Crying and bitching about it is much worse than picking their fave character to use, because there is nothing wrong with the latter.

Almost every fighting game aside from MK has about one or two people I would pick almost all the time. I'd have to say that MKD is the first MK game where I seem to pick about two or three characters a lot. I just pick who I'm good with, like a lot of other fighting games I've played. I just happen to be good with Sindel and Kira. Don't like it? Tough! Of course, I've got Sub-Zero, Mileena, and Baraka for back-up, just in case someone knows my Sindel tactics or in case someone picks Kenshi.

So your having fun? Picking the same character and doing the same tactics.... over and over? Why do you do it? To have a good record?
I guess if your having fun "winning" with the same character, then go for it. I'll be more happy if I choose different characters, even if I do get my ass handed to me. I guess I really can't stand repetetive things. Kinda like going to school... it's the same thing everyday, which is why I don't have fun at school.

So basically what you're saying is:
People who choose the same character, because they are good with that character and have every right to pick that character every single match because they are an expert with the character, should not be allowed to do so? They should pick a character they aren't good with so you have a chance to beat them? Right.
I've seen it all...what the hell are people going to complain about next. People who play Sub-Zero use the freeze too much, and it's cheap? People who play as Mileena use her second outfit too much and its distracting? People who play as Shujinko are cheap becuase they have access to too many special moves? Gimme a break.
If you can't beat someone who uses the same character alot, then stop playing that person, simple as that. Either go back to practice and brush up on your favorite character more, or go back to the beginner room and play with people who aren't good at the game yet. There's no sense in complaining because somebody uses one character...what the hell do you expect to find if you ever make it to the Expert room? People are gonna be one-character wonders in there because they'll have mastered one or more characters and use them exclusively. Maybe they want to be high in the rankings. Maybe they just have fun by being the same character and winning. Maybe its just their right to do whatever they want.

Nope, didn't say that. Maybe you should read all my posts again. I just get annoyed when someone picks the same character over and over. Who gives a flying rats ass if your good at one character. You can prove it to me in a match or two, not five. Wouldn't it make you better if you were good at them all? I believe so. That way you can do a random select and still kick the other person's ass. Thats what I'm going for. And.... EVERYONE is in the beginner room. Only 2 or 5 are in the others. So... even if I am in the beginner room, I'll still be playing against "experts". Unless of course things are really different during the day, since I only play between 10 PM and 1 AM PST.
oh and... GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZ!!! lol.

dude, you're seriously just making yourself sound like a loser more and more. There's no rule that says you have to pick a different character anywhere in the game. Sometimes it gets a bit annoying, but I kinda like it. When someone picks the same character over and over, I learn to react and anticipate moves coming from that character. And training with the same character so you get good at the game, nothing wrong with that. Why do people do it? Don't pretend like you don't feel good about yourself if you defeat everyone you ever play. And don't put yourself on such a high horse cause you think you're better than everyone cause you train with other characters. Whatever your handle is, let me know so i can avoid you. Cause be warned, I tend to pick Raiden, Sub-Zero, and Scorpion . Get over it, cause you're just making a bad name for yourself.
